Voyager's RPs seem to be (kinda) story-driven.Breakdown wrote:Tbh I may drop out. I've been really craving something more story based for a while.

Re: Bear's Battlegrounds - Hub
A lot of this is similar to UCA, are we able to do the one stronger "limited attack" thing for our Kaiju if we only use them once or twice per encounter?

So if Break drops out, Varan still needs somebody to fight..

Re: Bear's Battlegrounds - Hub
Name: Triax
Height: 110 Meters
Weight: 130,000 Tons
Info: A gladiatorial mech from an unknown age, Triax has been dragged across space and time to test those who would reign over this new world.
Description: From a distance, Triax does not cut an ominous figure. Thin and lanky, with slim arms reaching almost to its ankles, made even to look even longer by the two missile launchers that loom over the mechs' shoulders. As an observer would draw closer, however, they would notice that what was originally appeared to be a monolith of black and light grey is covered in a time-worn patina of rust, dust, and dried blood. A sharp, almost shark-like head, featureless but for two ocular protrusions in the shape of triangular prisms, glowing a deep red, is attached to the slim torso by a tall, thin neck. Surrounding the armored but unadorned torso plate are Triax's favored implements of damage. His arms are each filled with protected hydraulic cylinders, leading down to where hands should be. Instead the armor stops, leaving bare metal, surrounded on both sides by two massive hooks. Each hook is a massive serrated tool that would not look out of place in an abattoir. From the bottom of Triax's arms to its shoulders, atop each of them rests a massive cannon, doubling the size of the mech's arms, with massive barrels that leak gasses of unknown composition at all times. In comparison to everything else, Triaxs' torso and legs are simple and uncomplicated, both shod in the same black armor that covers the mechs' arms, the only adornment are cruel spikes that tip each kneecap and armored foot.
Personality: Those looking for witty comebacks and erudite wit shall be left wanting whenever they encounter Triax. The mech does not speak, it barely emotes. Its' only directive is to come across other inhabitants of this planet, test their skill, and if they are found wanting, beat them within and inch of their life until they get stronger. Outside of combat, Triax is stoic and stationary, rarely if ever moving, in combat Triax is cold and clinical, attempting to take his opponent apart as efficiently as possible.
Powers and Abilities:
Claws: Comprised of materials unknown to this planet, and unbroken after aeons of gladiatorial combat, able to rip and tear through unarmored flesh with no resistance, and and all but the heaviest armor an opponent may have will not be far behind in falling.
Brilliant Missiles: The launchers on Triax's shoulders fire high yield missiles in an arc either onto the mechs' opponent or the environment in several different armaments, namely standard explosive, incendiary, and cryogenic varieties. These each hit with the strength of MOGUERAs' Spiral Grenade Missiles.
Annihilation Shells: In case of an opponent truly challenging Triax, it has a nuclear option. There are two unique missiles, that, when fired at the same target, create a highly destructive reaction. An opponent struck with this attack will be facing damage equal to a concentrated blast of Burning Godzillas' Hyper Fire Ray at the highest possible core temperature. However, due to the esoteric materials required to craft this armament, Triax will only be able to use these shells once per encounter.
Eye Lasers: The optics of Triax can fire bright crimson laser beams at will, with a strength equal to Super Mechagodzillas' Mega Buster Ray
Hydraulic Strength Assist: During normal encounters, Triax is able to lift approximately 90,000 tons without assistance. However, a vital component to the mechs' arsenal is an extensive hydraulic system that enables bursts of incredible strength and speed, allowing Triax to close the distance to opponents, increase the damage potential with his claws, or throw weights of up to 150,000 tons.
Armor: Triaxs' armor has been tested time and time again in arena combat. It has been made to endure harsh punishment, tested against the mechs' own hydraulic assisted claws attempting to destroy it, the armor held integrity for three consecutive strikes. Equal in strength to final form Destoroyahs' armored hide.
Redundancy: Triaxs' electronics have been hardened against electronic and EMP interference, any attack that would normally disable the mechs' essential components will only interfere with effectiveness for 30 seconds at most.
Weaknesses:
Lack of Imagination: Triax fights by the numbers. It does not have any capacity to immediately adapt to an enemy's attacks, nor the capability to change it's own if it thinks it has found an effective strategy.
Slow and Purposeful: Without hydraulic assistance, Triax does not have the ability to react or move quickly. It's standard move speed is quite slow.
Head Instability: If a solid attack lands on Triaxs' head, the mech will have its brains scrambled temporarily, leaving it wide open for a strong attack.

Re: Bear's Battlegrounds - Hub
Gigantis would you be willing to take Triax as Varans' next opponent?
