Aphrodite smiled as the goblin made his case, although it did noticeably fade a little when he made mention of this apparent hole that he and his crew created. She listened to the skepticism of Fiotto, and was inclined to agree, as much as she felt that the little being was there to genuinely lend a hand.

"I see. Well, in any case, I really appreciate the inherent work that you and your crewmembers have done for our people, even if there was some apparent damages done along the way." Aphrodite chuckled to herself. "But, I also do have to agree with my friend here; we haven't had the best luck here lately, having had to go through two consecutive attacks, each leaving both heavy damage and loss. For the time being, we'll have to hold off on the evacuations until I'm able to speak to Ubel personally. Speaking of whom, where is he, exactly?"

"The last I saw of him, he was over near the fields to the south with a dark haired woman." A deep voice suddenly replied from above. The goddess turned and looked up to see a green skinned being descending from above, dressed in a white cloak, and a white turban.

Aphrodite raised an eyebrow, "And who might you be, stranger?" She asked.

"Piccolo, ma'am, I came to help in keeping your realm safe. Prince Ubel and I worked together to assist in driving that creature away."

The Namekian was gifted an inviting and thankful smile, one that filled him instantly with comfort and warmth. "Well then, it is nice to meet you, Piccolo, I'm Aphrodite. The help is very much appreciated, thank you."

Piccolo bowed, "My lady, it's an honor to meet you, and it's my pleasure."

Aphrodite nodded in kind. "The feeling is mutual, truly. Tell me, Piccolo, are you a Namekian?"

"You know of us?" Piccolo inquired with surprise.

"Indeed, I've read about your people in various books and archives, some of which are even here in our libraries. The legend of your kind proceeds you, you know? Your people sound truly amazing; I'd love to go there some day."

If Piccolo could blush, then this would have been the first time that he did. Although, his brow did start to sweat, and he hoped no one, especially Aphrodite, could see it. "I-I'm flattered, lady. I'm sure I speak for everyone there in saying that we'd love to have you."

The goddess bowed. "I'm glad to hear that, Piccolo. Now, you mentioned that you last saw Ubel with some woman? Do you have an idea of who she might be?"

Piccolo shook his head, "Not a clue, honestly. All I know is that she has short dark hair, and these piercing eyes that could make anyone's blood run cold." He shuddered before crossing his arms. "On top of that, she wielded some incredible power, sent me flying over the horizon without straining a muscle. She beat three student's of Lord Dante's within an inch of their lives; Prince Ubel had tasked me with taking them to your head physician a little bit ago."

"Vale, Alexei, and Hayden fought with her? A-are they alright?!" Aphrodite asked, shocked.

"Don't worry, lady, Hale, I believe was his name, is looking after them. Like I said, they were all pretty banged up, but they'll live."

Hearing that was like a huge weight had just been lifted off her shoulders. She stressfully ran a few fingers through her hair, as an unconscious sigh whispered from her mouth. "Thank the gods... Well, I think I've heard enough for now; I'll go meet up with Ubel and speak to this mystery woman personally. Piccolo, would it trouble you at all to wait here with the others while I'm gone?"

Piccolo shook his head, "Not at all, ma'am, I'll keep an eye on them for you."

Aphrodite smiled thankfully and turned to finally regard Yzazil. "I hadn't forgotten about you, Yzazil, I promise, but I do apologize for taking so long to speak with you. As for your question, for the time being, I think I'm going to stay here and help start the rebuilding process, and wait for Dante and Evron to hopefully get back." Her expression darkened upon that last statement. "They've both disappeared to somewhere that I can't seem to reach, mentally, and the more time that's passed, the more I'm starting to worry. I'll need to break the news to Ubel when I see him. In any case, if Nichelle plans on going after Heather, then I'd suggest that someone else escort her to wherever the traitor may be, just to be extra careful."

With that, the goddess of love turned from the others, and in a quick streak of lightning, took to the skies to find Ubel, with only a small and scorched circle left in her place.

Ubel smirked and narrowed his eyes as Dea flaunted her, admittedly, impressive assets at him. He set Lydia aside and pushed to his feet. "Actually, I graduated at the top of my class, behavioral psychology, if you can believe it." He bragged nonchalantly.

As he approached her, her cold gaze never strayed from him, as though Dea were a hungry predator that would strike at any moment if Ubel made the wrong move. But, he was confident, calm... Sure. “But, that’s not why I find you interesting. I don’t see you as a test subject, or patient whose mind I can pick apart.” Ubel’s voice came out smooth as the smoothest of silk, almost at a whisper, but still carried a hint of gravitas.

Once he’d circled around to face her front, the ninja had positioned himself mightily close. It was close enough to where the concept of personal space was fleeting at best. To the demigod, Ubel towered over her, this looming mountain, this force of nature whose gaze had seen countless lifetimes come and go, whose sense of time had been skewed far beyond what any human could ever fathom. And yet... still did the guardian seem to be on her same level, somehow. His calm eyes interlocked with hers, and he didn’t take them away, unfazed by Dea’s stern leer.

“No... I think you’re interesting, because, well... I think you’re interesting. You might have tried to tell your story to everyone else, but I’m not “everyone else”, either; I genuinely would like to know who you are, to know your interests, your aspirations, both past and future. I’m not one to spin a lie, miss... I mean what I say.”

Ubel reached up slowly with one hand, “And, by the way...” He murmured as he, ever so delicately, to where his fingers didn’t physically touch her, but Dea was still able to feel the heat emanating from them... He glided them across the side of her jet black hair, made a trail down her shoulder, the length of her arm, before stopping at her hand and taking his own away. He smiled flirtatiously, “If I wanted to... Take you to my bed... I would’ve asked. I dunno, call me old fashioned, but I typically like to get to know a lady first before we take that next step. And, I also don’t typically lay with one of my, ‘enemies’... Typically. But, you’re not really the enemy... Are you?”

He took a step back from her after a few lingering moments, and walked to retrieve his guitar. “Again, it’s ultimately your choice. You can go back to Persephone and hope that she looks past your failure today, or...” Ubel’s eyes glowed bright as a grin formed. “We could go and... Get to know one another a little more, however that transpires. I’m sure that I could break off some time before my people need me.”

Ubel, using his free hand, did a chopping motion out in front of him to create a glowing slit in the cosmic plane. With that same hand, he pried it open enough to reveal a violet portal in front of the demigod. He motioned her towards it, “This portal will take you anywhere you wanna go; it isn’t predetermined, nor will it remember where our realm is once you’ve passed through. It’ll be the fastest route back to Persephone, if that’s what you decide to do.”

Daeva sighed and pinched the ridge of her nose from Demmy's news. It was great that they'd managed to snag a Dragon Ball, but the thing with Molly was... Troubling, to say the least.

"Sounds like Shayatin managed to get her slimy little hands on Molly. The witch... Don't worry, we might be from the same clan, be she and I are nothing alike, namely kidnapping someone's best friend, worshipping a dead man, and generally just being a total bi-."

She took a breath to relax those bubbling emotions. "Sorry, there's just a lotta tension there. We'll get this Dragon Ball secured and into safekeeping, find and rescue Molly, and I'll get to go round 2 with my unwanted teacher."

To try and take her mind off that for the time being, Daeva looked over to Alex and gave him a bright grin. "Thanks for giving me the rundown of the place, cute guy whose name I still don't know." She paused to look into his eyes, noting their natural luster. "Your eyes, they... Remind me of someone I know, well... Two people... They're pretty."

Daeva then turned to around for a moment, snickering to herself. "Evron would have a field day with this place... Oh hey," She glanced back at Alex, " by any chance, does the name, 'Magparker' mean anything to you?"

Raspaganje's words ran through passed through Evron's mind like sandpaper against tarmac; the latter even visibly winced from the sheer irritation of it. Then came a disbelieved snort, and then a full on dry laugh from Evron once the dark lord had finished. Before answering, he created another cigar and used a spark from his finger to light it, where he went on to take a few puffs. The sweet, cherry flavored vapor that escaped from his lips billowed and swirled in various shapes within the barrier, until it disappeared seconds after.

"That's it??? That's your oh-so sweet offer? Bitch, I can and WILL surpass Dante in my own way, and on my own terms. I don't need the help of some boogeyman dickhead who clearly doesn't know who the hell he's talking to. Plus, there's also the little fact that he's my brother, and I'm not so goddamn desperate to up and become an evil prick just so I can beat him." Evron dryly and harshly snapped. "So, I'm gonna tell you the same thing that I tell every slimy salesperson I meet: Fuck off, and maybe find a better career path while you're at it."

Evron himself then cut the psychic connection, or at least, he believed that he did, and went to take another puff. Dante, who was now sitting with his back resting against the shield, sniffed and glanced lazily at him. "Is that the cherry flavor?" He asked.

"Yeah, but this one's from a different line, just released I think. Tastes a little sweeter than the old stuff." Evron replied whilst finding a seat across from Dante. "You think of anyway outta here yet?"

Dante shook his head and reached behind to tap the wall with a fist. "Nothing to break through this barrier, at least. You?"

A grunt came in response as Evron took a few more puffs. "Not yet, I've kinda been dealing with my own shit over here."

"Really? Like what?"

"Ehh, it's not important, just something dumb as hell."

The Ninja Prime raised an eyebrow, but he decided not to press; now wasn't the time. Instead, he simply laid back and shut his eyes. Might as well get comfortable while he was there. Suddenly, as if a lightbulb lit up in his brain, Evron sat up straight and pointed a finger at Dante.

"Daon! That's our golden ticket out of this place; we've gotta get him back!" Evron exclaimed.

Dante opened his eyes to look at him, then shook his head. "We won't be able to, sadly, at least not for a little while. You felt how much energy it took for us to fuse, and I can just feel that if we were to try again, it wouldn't work this time. Daon's gonna have to wait on the sidelines for a bit." He explained.

Evron slumped back down. "Damn." He said, disappointed. His brow furrowed with confusion, "Wait, was he that 'key' you were rambling about earlier? Did we seriously just use our best shot at winning this war?!"

The ninja king shifted uncomfortably where he sat, inklings of the pain inflicted by Chang'e still present. "No... No, he wasn't it. Daon was just a lucky hand is all."

"You know I don't believe in luck." Evron scoffed.

"Call it whatever, alright, the point is that Daon isn't the key to us winning. That still hasn't happened yet." Dante retorted.

"Well, what the hell is-" Evron stopped midsentence when the former gave him a look that said, "You know I can't tell you that."

"Right..." He muttered dryly and stuffed his cigar into his jacket pocket. "Your lips are sealed, how could I forget."

"You're just gonna have to trust me on this one, Rube, which... I know might be hard right now." He looked away, hugging his knees close to his chest. "Believe me, after everything I've done, I'd understand. In some way, Persephone is right... I do have a lot to answer for, a lot of wrongs to sow."

Evron raised an eyebrow, "Dude, Em, you forreal? You'll never have to worry about me not trusting you. And yeah, while you have been acting sketchy as shit with this whole 'key' thing, I still trust that you know what the hell you're doing, and that whatever you saw is real."

He leaned forward, "Persephone isn't right about a damned thing, you hear me? If you've got a lot to answer for, then I sure as hell have a shit ton of skeletons in my dusty ass closet."

Dante snorted, which caused Evron to laugh, before continuing. "We're brothers, Dante, which means no matter what, I've always got your back."

"Likewise," Dante smiled at him, "and thanks, Rube."

"What can I say, I'm a motivational speaker." He mused as he retrieved his used cig and puffed on it some more. "Now then, you still owe me a story about how the hell you got that angel form of yours, and where your new friend came from. No better time than right now, I'd say, start talkin."

Dante nodded, "Alright, well buckle up, because this one's kind of a doozy." He replied and leaned forward, crossing his legs neatly under each other. "So, Aphrodite, Booled, and Bored were all with me at the time, and it all started... When we went to visit Dad..."

"Dark haired woman, eh?" Go'ren said. "He sure does have a way of talking to the ladies... got along with Beetle really well. By the way, that's the one who made the buzzing sound. My, or rather our name's Go'ren. Ubel might not recognize us because we slept the way, but he'll recognize her."

They called Beetle, "Hey. I've got some civilians here who don't want to evacuate unless they know we're good. Personally know that guy you played guitar with."

"That's what you've been doing? Stop wasting your time. If they're not going to go, save someone else."

"But they just need you to confirm we're the good guys."

Go'ren heard a sigh from the other side. It was The Other. "She can't abandon her position. She is too vital to the rescue. Page me and I will zero in on your position."

So, Go'ren did. They turned to the others. "Piccolo, huh? I remember meeting a guy like you. They were at a little pub where we picked up some crew. You didn't know any, huh? And... here's our guy."

In a flash of light appeared a being clad in armor reminiscent of the Ninjas, albeit not as elaborate as those possessed by the guardians. The Other stood from his crouched position but was nearly thrown back again. The palace! All this time he had spent forced to be away only to return and see one of the icons of the realm ruined. He gritted his teeth not allowing his emotions to be on display.

He bowed, "God of Wisdom the Other, at your service. A Namekian, I see."

Under the surface of the water, Godzilla's eyes glared at Mulek. To think that she already concluded that he was here to attack. The sheer disrespect evident in her actions and words!

A furious growl echoed through the seas. Mulek's senses were assaulted by a deep chill of falling seawater as Godzilla's head, neck and shoulders breeched the surface ever so slightly, allowing her to see his contorted muzzle, a cloud of fog stirred up by a simple exhale.

She hadn't an idea what Hercules was doing, what he was. She had no idea what was on that ship. Nevertheless, what peeved him was that some of her words rang true. Godzilla had no way to lie to himself: this wasn't really about the stability of the universe, or keeping the Olympians from rising again. It was a grudge.

Saint Kabuto watched from nearby. It seemed as if Mulek had yet to notice him. Fair enough, he was less bombastic than Godzilla by a long shot despite their similar height. Still, he heard her. It was clever, to appeal to Godzilla's pride like this. It was likely the quickest way to get something through to him.

Problem was, she was very, very small. Insignificant even. Maybe something more his size joining in could help him see reason. Hopefully, he didn't scare Mulek.

From the water emerged six massive appendages: the cavernous split some of a mammoth insect shell and four semitransparent wings. A new shower of water sprung as Kabuto raised himself from the water. A titan, perhaps in a more literal way than Mulek would be able to guess.

His voice boomed like several joint claps of thunder, despite speaking in a very grim and matter of fact way. "She's right, you know? The times we fought, I've barely come to understand why you are doing what you do. I understand that the world needs to be kept clean of Olympians and their monsters. You must be looking at me right now and see nothing but a new world overrun with Hydra, Chimera. Do you think that matters more than the multiverse? Or, are you too stubborn?"

Kabuto had succeeded at giving Godzilla a larger target. His head turned to New Titan. Still, his eyes moved between Kabuto and Mulek.

Seeing that the kaiju had survived their previous encounter certainly was a surprise. He alternated between anger and a strange sense of respect. Truly, the only thing that survived against him as many times was Hercules himself. Kabuto however was willing to submit.

"Hercules never did anything to you," Kabuto said. "Put this aside."

Hercules's tone turned deathly. "A Ninja infiltrator? Where?"

He looked to Immanuel. "I'm guessing this is also news to you, mate?"

Goku had little time to think. He had underestimated this monster quite a bit and now... he lay bruised and wounded. Jake was in very much the same position.

Quickly, he shoved Jake out of the way. A surge of yellow aura bloomed forth as the tail made contact with the Saiyan. Jake quickly dodged the blast of sheer force which generated a massive crater and a cascade of rocky debris.

He wound through the debris, aiming another blast at the great beast. This one bigger than the last. But through his advanced vision he could make out the ominous glow of a beam of blue light.

The tail had made contact all right, but the result was less than desired. Shards of some of Goku's teeth lay scattered behind him. He had to keep his eye closed to avoid the blood from his cranium getting within. One arm was practically useless, but still he persevered. An instant transmission away and he was out from the titan's grasp, a hand pressed against the main head.

"KAMEHAMEHAAAAAAAA!"

From his palm emerged a massive blast, one that only did not destroy the planet due to it merely grazing the surface. The beam traveled and decapitated a mountainside, being well on the way to destroying the moon. That was, if it hadn't already been destroyed by a massive blast prior.

"O- Oh, well, there are lots of fossils," Alex told Demmy, a stammer sneaking back into his voice. "Not just of bones either, t- there's whole petrified forests to the northwest."

The stammer blossomed twofold when Daeva addressed him. "M... Magparker? That's... Gull, isn't that the human ais- u- uh, god?"

The blonde varul, looking away from Fray, nodded after a moment.

"Yes," she rumbled. "Never seen her. But many stories. Mattuger calls her a trickster."

Alex looked shyly to the ninja. "G- God is a... it's a rough translation. The words aisar and vanre have a lot... implications. T- They're the first. As in the firstborn, the oldest of each race. And maor- u- uh, sorry, humans are one of the old races, so Magparker... she's one of the oldest things here. Literally older than the dirt if t- the mythology here is to be believed."

"O... Okay," Alex then told Risel after clearing his threat of embarrassment. "Risel it is then. But... if you ever do think of a better name, tell us, okay?"

Dea stared into Ubel's eyes, her own hooded and cold.

Then she let out an undignified snort as she broke out into a smirk.

"Man, that book was right," the demigod grinned. "You are the best sibling."

Dea stepped forward, not into the portal, but around it.

"Sorry, Big Guy," she said, patting Ubel's shoulder, "but I don't think things would work out between us. Don't worry though, it's not you. It really isn't, you big cinnamon bun. It's the people around you."

The superhuman took a lazy step away from the ninja, this time towards the rift. "Speaking of, tell Blondie I said hi. And next time you see Wonder Boy, tell him to teach his brats to use their heads, not just their muscles. Those kids were fast enough to lock me down right away, but didn't. That's on the teacher in my books. And, uh... I dunno, flip your other brother off. He probably deserves it."

After another wide step backwards, putting her so close to the tunnel in space that a few of her pitch black hairs began reaching towards it, pulled by an invisible force, Dea shot Ubel a parting smirk. "Oh, and if you consider our little chat to be sufficient for 'getting to know a lady' next time we meet, let me know, huh? Ain't nothing wrong with two consenting adults blowing off some steam. And maybe up some planets if we get freaky enough, I dunno. Never had someone I didn't have to worry about breaking."

Immanuel stayed silent, though relaxed to show his agreement with Hercules' statement regarding an ambassador, feeling the ship jostle. Godzilla seemed more amicable in their last encounter; though it was capricious by nature; one moment, it could be an ally, the other a dreadful enemy. Who knew what its intentions were here. It also seemed that a great storm had kicked up in the wake of the behemoth's arrival; something he had not anticipated. The god of Light wondered to himself if he would be safer flying on his own rather than risking riding within a much more visible ship.

At the news of an infiltrator, Immanuel turned his head back to Hercules, away from the great storm outside. "You would be correct. Why would a Ninja infiltrate here?"

Before Immanuel could finish his thought, the doors behind both he and the great pirate crashed open. Behind them stumbled forth the form of Gigantis, who then collapsed to his knees in what seemed to be exhaustion.

"Gigantis?" Immanuel moved cautiously toward the saurian warrior. "How did you get here? What is afflicting you?"

"I-I don't know anymore..." Gigantis groaned in pain, "b-but I can't contain it much longer...."

"What? What can't you contain?" Immanuel inquired. He soon got his answer, as Gigantis head swung up to look at him. The saurian's eyes burned with a sickly violet glow, as black sludge began to drip from his jaws. A surreal smile spread across his lips, as if in a fugue-like state.

"Me."

Shocked, Immanuel attempted to raise a light barrier, before the form of Gigantis split open in half, unleashing a deluge of burning violet light at Immanuel and Hercules that disintegrated the walls surrounding them instantly...

Shayatin did not bother to answer Nonce's inquiry; instead, as soon as her body had been freed from the trap's influence, she greeted the man of iron by materializing her blackened mace and striking him across the face! The impact struck with enough force to smash him through two of the ship's reinforced walls and crashing into one of the nearby rooms. The fallen Yakuza glowered, before she conjured a cloud of black mist and sent it Nonce's way, the ebony mist rapidly decaying the rooms it passed through as it made its way toward him.

Seizing this opportunity, Shayatin began to quickly gather the dragonballs, knowing she had little time before reinforcements arrived....

Yzazil nodded as the Goddess of Love flew off, before he turned to look at Nichelle. "I... will go with you. I shall do what I can to pursue Heather and destroy the Wyvern King for its crimes."

Yzazil huffed, channeling the life force of the dying plants around him into himself to regain his strength. "Is there anyone else you think would be willing to aid us?"

Nyx watched in silence as Lilith seemed to become shocked by the events from before unfold. It was weirdly satisfying to watch her smug demeanor slowly peel away, but now was not the time for that; now she had been informed as to what they were up against.

"Yeah, whatever this 'Alabaster' is, she's serious business," Nyx said, crossing her arms. "I honestly haven't got a clue how the fuck we're gonna deal with her."

She then looked to Lae. "But let's not discount Persephone either. Lilith's right; there's definitely something wrong with that girl. When I fought her on Earth, I managed to land a headshot on her with my pistol; all it did was fuck up her face. Under her skin, she had like... black sludge or something. And multiple eyes. So many goddamn eyes..."

Nyx sighed. "Look, my point is that whatever's going on here is twofold. Alabaster's pulling the strings and doing the heavy lifting, but there's something inside of Persy that's made her extra tough. And I got a feeling it's gonna be a bigger problem pretty soon."

The voice of Raspaganje let out a cold, unamused laugh at Chang'e's statement. "Were it so easy."

Raspaganje's voice became incensed, as if galvanized by rage. "Were it so easy to smite the impotent mockery, I would have done so. But fate is cruel; its chains bind me to my domain, preventing me from controlling what I so desire. You above all should know the cruelty of fate, to feel its burning binds withstand your rebukes. How does one bear the burden of a thousand failures across a thousand timelines? To see their ambitions stripped away, one by one, until naught but a fleeting memory of it remains?"

Raspaganje let out a hiss, before continuing. "But this is but an aside; there are more pawns in this game than you are aware of, some great, many minor. Tengri is but one aspect of my machinations, though perhaps my most successful. After all, the mortal heart is easy to sway, but hard to control..."

The dark presence of Raspaganje seemed to wane. "But know this, Chang'e: your ambition has but one fatal flaw - the pawns on your board cannot break their chains..."

With a final laugh, Raspaganje's voice vanished, leaving Chang'e alone.

The Monarch of Frost prepared to evade the King of King's assault, quickly darting to the aside to evade the reaping lance of Tengri. Tengri was prepared for this, however, and conjured a gale of burning wind as he passed, the blast of heat melting some of the Monarch's armor and flooring him once more! As he prepared to recover, he was suddenly tackled by a rabbit-like creature, who began to violently rip and tear at his helmet's visor!

"Damnable beast! Get off of me!" The Monarch of Frost snarled in an agitated manner, grabbing Cider with an icy gauntlet and peeling her off of his face, albeit with much difficulty due to her violent struggles. The Monarch of Frost prepared to impale Cider with one of his icy blades, eyes locked firmly on her...

That was, until a shadowy spike burst through his chest, causing him to drop the rabbit-like creature to the ground. A pained gasp escaped the frosty warrior's lips, as a familiar form coalesced behind him - that of the shadowy tyrant Ananke had spoken to earlier, standing a few meters away, a long tendril of darkness extending from his body into the icy warrior.

"M-master?" The Monarch of Frost coughed out. "B-but why...?"

"You're an asset, one I have no more need for. Goodbye." The figure smiled cruelly, withdrawing the tendril from the Monarch's chest, causing him to slump onto the ground in a heap. The despot looked to Tengri. "forgive my late arrival, but upon hearing of your peril, I rushed to your aid."

As The warrior fell, Tengri strode up, visibly satisfied. His eyes glanced towards the shadowy figure, and Cider. "It is of no concern, warrior. Well done, both of you! This traitor has been dealt with... but another still lives." The Conquering Star looked towards the scampering form of Scaroth, who had all but been bested by Xpveinees and O'nugulao. "Hmph. It seems like his 'insurrection' has ended in a resounding failure, as I had anticipated! A pathetic assault such as his had no chance of felling the Conquering Star!"

Tengri looked back to Cider and the shadowy overlord. "Come, I have a new concubine to attend to. Join me in my throne room for her arrival." With that, Tengri galloped away towards his palace, leaving Xpveinees and O'nugulao to deal with Scaroth. The dark-clad tyrant looked to Cider and smiled, before disappearing to follow in Tengri's wake...
----
The Mal'akh were heavily wounded by the blows to their heads, causing them to collapse to the earth in bleeding heaps. Despite the severity of their head traums, they slowly began to regenerate after Xpveinees' assault, though O'nugulao's barrier shield help keep them at bay when they did finish their recovery.

Scaroth attempted to scream in pain from the gun piercing his leg, but instead let out a pained choke as Xpveinees placed her arachnid foot upon his neck. The Jagaroth let out a pathetic whimper beneath the Quatheral's weight.

"P-please don't kill me..." he sputtered out weakly, holding up his arms as best he can to show his surrender.

As Evron continued to converse with Dante, a quiet growl echoed through his mind, even in spite of his efforts to sever the mental tether.

"Trust... that is something difficult to come by, isn't it...?" the voice of Raspaganje cooed within the ninja's mind. "But Dante does not tell you the full story of what the future holds... only what his eyes, blinded by righteousness, wish to see..."

Suddenly, Evron's vision filled with white light, before he felt a sharp pain within his mind. The light began to die back, as visions appeared before his eyes. A great empty void appeared before him, along with the forms of many familiar forms - those of he, Daeva, Ubel, and Dante, along with Molly and Jake - and a few others unfamiliar. Suddenly, Jake's body seemed to lose control, before a great darkness emerged from his body. In a second, all things - evron and his siblings, those who had been near them, planets, stars, even entire galaxies - vanished, consumed utterly by a creature of immense power. The multiverse itself seemed to bend and break at the creature's whims, before the multiverse faded into nothing...

"A great evil resides within the heart of your friend Jake... an evil that shall spell the end of all things you know and hold dear to your heart. The beast shall consume the multiverse, devouring time itself, before the multiverse is reborn. The remnants of those who came before shall be but fodder for the roots of Yggdrasil to take root and begin the cycle of pain once more."

As Raspaganje spoke, the darkness that regained became filled with an orange light - the Core of the Multiverse. From the core sprouted ancient beings of primal might, before the tendrils of a great tree sprouted forth. More forms began to appear, as the multiverse seemed to slowly repopulate. But, as the image had shown before, the multiverse was once more destroyed by the great shadowy beast, before beginning anew a third time.

"I have seen through two cycles of time... both have ended identically. I fear the third is on the path to end much the same. And your brother has done nothing to stop this, only speak empty words and hide the truth from those most faithful to him."

Raspaganje let out a low rumble. "That is why I offer this to you, Evron - you possess potential, yet you have left it untapped... unshaped ... for twenty five ages. I offer you this chance to right the failures of your brother, to become greater than what fate has allotted you. This shall be your opportunity to break the binds of destiny, to become the hero you always saw within yourself, but were denied the chance to become. But, the choice is ultimately yours... mull it over. You shall have plenty of time to do so in this prison of the imposter's design..."

The visions then faded...

Owlzarus, hearing Booled's call, floated over to the Quatheral ghost's location. After a brief examination, Owlzarus nodded.

"This tear seems to lead to a different point in time, long in the distant past... i can pick up the presence of Jake here. Let us make haste and meet him, before things prove too late..."

With gusto, Owlzarus dove into the rift, leaving it wider for the two ghosts to pass through...

Fiotto tilted his head at Piccolo, surprised at his height. Though to be fair, he wasn't very tall himself, so he was almost constantly looking up at people. He also felt smaller without his precious hat. He was kind of self conscious about the top of his head a bit. His green skin really did stands out from the crowd as well. He could probably fit well back home if he didn't look as intimidating as he did. Fiotto suddenly cringed a bit, getting a strange chill from seemingly out of nowhere. He looked around, only to find everything was still in place. Probably his nerves getting the best of him. Gathering up his courage, he waddled over towards Piccolo.

"Well, I sincerely thank you for your service!"

Fiotto jumped a bit from where Aphodite suddenly vanished, leaving behind the burned circle. "I.. I didn't even know she could do that!" Maybe he had seen it before, but with all that was going on recently, it was probably a lower priority to remember such a thing. It was only then he noticed to familiar form of Nichelle, but with a new one he didn't quite recognized. He only heard that last few words that they were saying to each other. Something about going Heather or the Wyvern King. Well, if that was the case, he'd wish that they'll be successful. Heather was truly a monstrous soul.

"I hope you luck on capturing Heather? Personally, Nichelle, and I'm only saying this because you seem to know her but.." Fiotto hesitated for a brief moment before continuing. "How did Heather get into your.. erm.. 'group' in the first place? I think that's the right word for that, right?"

[Border]00HH WAIT!"[/Border]

Evoex suddenly blurted out, floating over towards the small group. His single whisker dancing around like a flag in the wind.

[Border]"IF YOU ARE GOOJNG TO ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE HEATHER AND THE BEAST, I WILL GLADLY HELP![/Border]

"Wh-What!? Are you crazy!?" Fiotto shouted, placing his hands over his head. "You have no idea what else could be out there! Plus, no offense doctor, but you got creamed during your fight against that monster!"

Cthelee nodded in approval. He really wanted for all of the Quatheral beings to stay together and not be in trouble at all. They'd already lost Howo and Ishome, why lose any more?

[Border]"DON'T WORRY FELLOW RESIDENTS! I WAS MERLEY PRETENDING TO BE WEAK T HERE! I SWEAR ON FUCK!" LULLING THE BEAST INTO A FALSE STATE OF SECURITY!"[/Border]

"I don't believe that for a second!"

Cthelee once again nodded along with Fiotto's statement. He was almost tempted to get closer to Evoex to really try to convince him to not go through with it, but the big bird was still trying to make a nervous child calm again, along with Uquillious playing patty-cake with another kid.

[Border]"WELL, I STILL WANT TO GO! I CAN ASSURE YOU ALL I'LL BE FINE! : )[/Border]

Evoex's twisted his body around to face Nichelle and Yazazil, his body starting to display a weird array of colors that sort of hurt their eyes if they looked too long at it.

[Border]"BESIDES, THERE WILL BE MORE OF US TOGETHER! SO WE SHOULD BE FINE! THIS TEAM³! WHO KNOWS WHAT WE CAN ALL DO WITH THE POWER OF THREE?"[/Border]

Cthelee was about to retort, but the sudden orange blur caught him off guard and nearly caused him to scream. It was just Markeyy! Cthelee was glad to see that he was safe, but where did he even come from? He didn't make any noise at all! It was like... no, Cthelee was just overimagining things.

"Heeyyya!! It's me!" Markeyy exclaimed, hitting his bell with his striking rod a couple times before grinning at Uquillious.

The pink fluffy being gasped out loud and gently let one of the children off her back when they were piggy back riding her. She bolted over to Markeyy and gave him a great big pony hug. "Ohhh! Thank QUATHERAL! I was sooo worried about you, Markeyy! I-I feared the worst to be honest."

Markeyy just laughed and spun his striking rod around the tip of his index finger. "Pssh, nah I'm okay! Sorry to worry ya! I was kinda lost after all that ruckus! Glad to see everyone is alll okay though! If it makes you feel better Uquillious, I was worried about ya too!"

Uquillious blushed, giggle a bit. "Rrreallly?" She responded in a deep, flattered tone that came out unexpectedly, even to her. "Pffft!" Uquillious held her hooves to her mouth to try to keep herself from laughing out loud. However, she continued to laugh harder and harder until her fluffy hooves were no longer able to keep her laughs contained. She busted out laughing and fell to floor, tears in her eyes.

Markeyy couldn't help but join in on the laughter, putting his hands on his knees. "What're you laughing at, Uie!?"

Uquillious continued to laugh, almost sounding like the braying of a donkey. "I don't knooowwwwweeeeHAWWW! HeeeHAWW!!" She slapped her hooves against the ground, making the squeaking sounds that usually occurred when she took a step.

Cthelee couldn't help but have a great big smile whilst looking at Uquillious and Markeyy.

Cider fell to the ground with little grace, shattering one of her legs. She yelped out and looked down at her missing her leg. She glared back up at The Monarch of Frost, shaking her fist at him. "WILL YOU STOP BREAKING PARTS OF MY BODY!?" Within a few seconds, Cider's leg was already regenerating. She crossed her arms and stomped a foot.

When Tengri congratulated Cider, she puffed out her chest and saluted. "Yeah, no problem Cool Star. Always glad to assist!" She placed her hands on her crystal thighs. It looked like the others were doing decently against the revolutionists. She hopped up and cheered them on. Man, this is exactly the type of action she was looking for! Her ears folded once he heard that Tengri had some sort of concubine waiting for them. Was that some sort of spider person? Sounded like it.

She looked up the dark clad being and gave them a thumbs up. "Cool workin' with ya'!" She watched as the two started to where she assumed that was Tengri's throne room. "I'll catch up with you soon! Just gotta take care of some stuff!" She looked back to her Quatheral friends, and her tail twitched. She quickly set off to rejoin her posse.
-------

Вы осмелились попытаться бросить вызов Звезде Завоевателя? В Quatheral!?" Xpveinees continued to press her spider-like foot against Scaroth's neck. Every part of her was ready to end her opponent right here. He'd done a hefty amount of damage to her, and he should properly pay for it. "Вы думаете, что заслуживаете жизни?" She looked into his eyes and only gave back a death stare as he begged for his life. She could probably crush his face in right at this moment. The guards wouldn't stand a chance.

But then she heard a voice.

Quatheral's... Her mommy.

"Remember, It won't kill anything, so you don't have to worry about that."

It was when she was gifted her new spear. That's right... She really didn't Xpveinees to hurt anybody. She looked at Scaroth's broken form one last time. Her eye relaxed, but only a tiny bit. She took her foot off his neck and pulled his weapon out from his body. She put the gun in her left armpit, and grabbed hold of Scaroth's unbroken arm, pulling him back up on his feet. She forcefully put his weapon back into his hand and grunted. She shoved him towards his guards, nearly making him topple back onto the ground again.

She looked back to where Tengri was, who seemingly was finished with his match. She saw Cider hopping towards her. She looked back towards Scaroth and his troops and stared them down. She raised a finger towards them. "Идти." She then pointed into the opposite direction from where Tengri went.

"Очиститесь и вылечитесь. Будьте готовы, когда он прикажет вам сражаться. Поскорее поправляйся." She turned turned around and saw that Cider was holding up her dropped weapon. She just nodded in thankfulness and placed it into her ring hands."

"Yeessh, damn babe. Let's get you somewhere healed soon. You don't look too good."

"Agreed, let's follow Tengri. You know where he went, right Cider"

"Uh huh! He can probably point us towards the nearest healing bay. C'mon, lets go!" The hyperactive bunny was already starting to leave the way, followed by a slouching Xpveinees. O'nugulao looked back at the spared members, and gave out a long hiss. O'nugulao then soon followed their two female Quatheral beings.

The two Quatheral spirits headed in at the same time, following Owlzarus's lead.

Boore shouted out to Owlzarus as they began exploring. "Sooo, if we like, are entering his timestream, does that mean we show up in his past too or something? I was just talking to Daeva earlier about like, 4 or 5 hours ago on how time travel works! I can't wait to tell her I went through time! Like, WOOAAAH!"

Booled groaned. "Please concentrate Boore."

"Okay!"

"We need to find his most recent point, correct?" Booled asked The Caretaker.

Demmy turned her gaze away from the others. "I never figured gods and deities across dimensions would be... so different. But, I guess that was to be expected."

She looked at Alex, at Gull, at Jackie, at Daeva, Fray and Mara. "In that case, I take it we're ready to head back and tell the others the good news... and go rescue Molly."

She inhaled, and let out a gust of air that struck the ground around them. Another rift formed, one that lead back to the Realm of the Ninja. "Don't worry." She said to Risel and Fray. "The people you'll meet on the other side are nice... if a little eccentric."

She, with Mara in hand, descended into the rift, and Risel looked at Alex.

"Y-yes. I'll check and see... if that will be acceptable. If I feel okay with that."

Curiosity overtaking her, she as well stepped in, and was greeted with the recovering realm of the Ninjas...

Mulek felt uneasy being so close to the giant. Yet, the appearance of one of Hercules's other pirates, a giant monster in their own right, calmed her down. He echoed her sentiments, and Mulek felt more at ease. Perhaps... Perhaps a fight with Godzilla could be avoided, and hopefully-

The ship rocked as an explosion tore through it. Mulek kept her footing, yet as she turned to see what had happened, a life force billowed from within the ship... No it was three new ones. She sensed Gigantis for some reason... and at the same time, a Ninja was there, but its life force was so... So WRONG, so tainted... and the third...

Her eyes widened. It was the same life force... she had sensed from the hole in space... where those strange things had attacked her and Immanuel.

Evil had made its way aboard Hercules's vessel.

She darted down to where the group was, in time to see Gigantis pop open like a welt and a dark evil essence flow toward Immanuel and Hercules. She stepped before them, and raised her scythe, and let a plume of hellfire from the head of her weapon blast forward into the fell light. The flames acted as a barricade that burned away at the decaying energy and began to press against it.

"You who control Gigantis's body, whatever machinations you have will not unfold!" She flew through her own flames right for the controlled Gigantis. The flames on the head of her scythe shifted to a more azure blue as she prepared to stab the weapon deep into the gaping hole in the saurian. She had no desire to kill Gigantis, but if her scythe could kill the evil spirit that controlled him, or sever his connection to him... And hopefully, her own true nature would allow her to survive through these energies the evil menace was giving off...

-----

Karzahni had gotten separated from Hercules by Gigantis's sudden appearance. Fear had gripped the heart of the dragon runt, and in a panic he had ran away from the conflict that brewed above.Yet, in his interest to get away, instead he stumbled upon the dragonball vault, and a shadowy figure that resembled one of the Ninjas.

He took a step back. For some reason, the voice he had heard during his torment, during his blinded torture, came echoing back through his mind. Sixteen burning eyes sheered into his mind, and he found himself grabbing at his own chest with a clawed hand. Was even being near Hercules not safe enough?! Was he doomed to forever be caught against powers beyond his control? He wanted to simply turn away, to pretend he hadn't seen anything, run off and live to see another day...

Something in his heart stabbed at him. No, he had to stand his ground! With so much more than him on the line! Not with the fate of reality itself at risk! If he wouldn't make a stand now, then when?

Against his better judgement, against a million years of experience screaming at him to turn and run, Karzahni confronted the shadowy ninja. " Hey!" He snapped at her. His tail flickered behind him and his fangs were bared. " Who do you think you are to steal those dragon balls? They don't belong to you, or the wretched master you deserve you walking carcass! I'd suggest you turn and leave without your prize..."

He reached into his cloak, and pulled out several blue pitcher like flowers, and a faint humming noise began to echo through Shayatin's mind. Karzahni took a step closer, and the humming began to gnaw away at the fell Ninja's mind. "Or you'll regret it." He hissed.

Molly stared at the woman in the mirror in confusion. "I... I have to be hearing things... I have to be. I'm having a dream, a dream somehow being controlled by Doris. That's it, this is all a nightmare I'm having. I'll wake up, and I'll be in my own bed, Doris standing there waiting to-"

"This is no dream." The Lifemother cut Molly off. "And you know it as well. You are me, and I am you. The one you call Doris, my priestess, she would have loved to see this moment."

"H-How can any of this be real?!" Molly felt her voice rising in her chest. She began to shout at her own twisted reflection. "I am an ordinary girl surrounded by strange things, but that's just it! I am not a reincarnation of a primordial goddess! And... If I really was, then why now? Why not earlier, against Miyoshi? Why not when... She was..."

"I was in slumber." The Lifemother admitted with a weak voice. "I have been resting ever since I met my demise at the hands of those who once worshiped me. Had you perished, I would have simply reincarnated in a new body, slowly recovering my power. It was only because of the Machine of Unmaking's firing that I was awoken, as its affects on the cosmos as a whole rose me from my slumber. Hence, I was awake when I felt Doris's pain. Yet, it is also because of the Machine of Unmaking that my power is returning to me faster than it ever had been before, but that machine, and the forces behind its creation, cannot be trusted. What Tengri is playing with is a force that will destroy everything and leave behind a void of nothingness, an empty reality free for those who cannot be affected by its firing to mold as they see fit... Beings like the one pulling Tengri's strings."

"P-please, slow down!" Molly tried to ask of the woman in the mirror. "What do you mean by that? That everything Tengri says is..."

"A lie, a lie I doubt even he realizes, one propagated by those who now surround him, and the one who leads him.Do not fall for what they tell you, that Tengri can bring back your parents and your world. All the Machine of Unmaking will leave is ruin for the Star of Calamity to rule over, or for my ancient enemy to seize instead."

"Your... ancient enemy?" Molly asked.

"Yes, the one who subverted my followers and turned them against me. They were the ones responsible for later turning your world into a hellhole, for unleashing monsters across the globe to ensure my demise. They are currently with the one called Persephone, and they... they were the ones who...Doris..."

"W-what do you..." Molly stepped toward the mirror. "What happened to Doris? Who-"

The mirror cracked and shattered before Molly's eyes, and the girl staggered back in shock. She felt a powerful hand wrap around her waste, and Ananke's head far too close to her own. "I'm sure talking to yourself is fun and all, but it's now safe to speak with Tengri. And frankly, Doris got what she deserved, if not from me, then from whoever it is that truly killed her off."

The gears in Molly's mind finally clicked, and her face went pale as she tried to get away from Ananke. "You're... You're from-"

"Funny how things work out..." Ananke chuckled as she began to drag Molly away. Her grip was too strong, there was no chance for her to get away. " A deal here and there, and I have a new leash on life, though I cannot say the same for this poor spider's soul. Oh well, no one will miss her." They left Ananke's room and began to make their way toward Tengri's chambers. " Soon, very soon, the Machine of Unmaking will fire, and everything I lost will be returned to me, one way or another, and the one who ruined everything for me, she will be no more. Even she cannot survive complete multiversal eradication!" Her eyes beamed with a light green hue as she burst into a chuckling fit...

As Raspaganje's presence left, Chang'e felt a weight lift off her shoulders. So the observer was little more than that without his parlor tricks, an observer. Not someone who would directly intervene. That was all she needed to know.

And yet, something he said bugged her. It was true, the pawns on her board could not break from their chains, they could not do anything she wasn't aware of, anything outside of what she assumed they could. How was that a liability, a flaw?

She put the thought as far back in her mind as possible, and stepped back through the rift. She found herself in the smoldering ruins of Omega City, and before a sight that made her wince. On the ground was Estrella, alive, yet very much on the brink of death. Half of her face had been burned away, bone and all, and her foot was shredded along with her hands. A burned hole was in her chest, and her backside as well was torn open and bleeding out. Her throat was torn open, yet she weakly raised her head up to the sight of Chang'e, and tried to speak, but no words came from her mouth. Only blood.

"Estrella... What have they done to you?" Chang'e bent low and scooped the girl into her hands. " My darling, my child, what have those cruel gods done to you? Your mission was a failure, but... I do not hate you for that. It's okay, don't speak... I'll tend to your wounds. You'll be fine, I promise."

She held Estrella close, and the torn and mortally wounded girl was absorbed back into Chang'e. The last Chang'e saw of Estrella's face was the formation of a half smile as she dissipated into her. Chang'e rose, and turned to walk back through the rift.

It was time for a demonstration...

---------------------

Crigan could onlywatch as the Ninja Bothers discussed with each other in their mental bubble. They had begun to use the occasional word as a slip up, but it was hard to tell exactly what they were saying. But, there was no doubt in his mind they were planning some way to escape from their confines... but how?

"What are they talking about?" Persephone asked as she walked up next to Crigan. "They're speaking now, so you should-"

"Mostly, they're talking about your appearance, and how you are not what they assumed you would be like." Crigan explained. " And to be fair, the Persephone of my world was... a few heads taller than you."

Persephone groaned. "Really? My appearance is what they're hung up on? That is what they are-"

She stopped. She reached her hand up to her ear. "Yes Belfrit, what is it?" She said. "There's... What is going on? Nyx is... Nyx is THERE?! And... Ooooh, I see, that's the type of day this is going to be. If that is the situation, then don't make any rash movements, but stay there. Once I deal with this fleet, help will be on the way."

"N-Nyx?" Crigan stammered. "W-when did you... Nyx is..."

"Yzazil's 'niece'? Yes, I have her here, but she's... escaped. No matter, she's still trapped in Dudael. Don't worry, I haven't harmed her, even if she tried to spit in my face and kill me because she failed to see reason. Besides, we have larger concerns..."

She raised her hands, and the ceiling of the throne room shook and parted. The stones slid away, and Persephone raised herself, Crigan, and the Ninjas in their sphere up through the ceiling and up to the roof of the Palace of Shadows. There, Crigan and the Ninjas could see, far off in the distance, the fleet of hundreds that approached Sheol, vast ships miles long, surrounded by dozens of even larger vessels.

"That... Is that Tengri's fleet?"

"Yes, and he has come to kill me. Though, he's in for a very rude awakening, he or whoever is in control of all those ships." Persephone tapped on her ear again. "Alabaster, where are you right now? Oh, you're in Laeptus's lab? That is perfect. There is something I need you to do for me..."

-----------------

Lae, Aseya, and Lilith all turned to stare at what Nyx had said. Their expressions were as if she had grown two additional heads.

"She... she is..." Lae looked down. "Illogical. I knew Persephone had gained power through all the gods she had defeated, and yet... I did not know the how of it. If it truly is a being beneath her skin... It defies all logic."

"Not quite." Lilith said, which brought all attention to her. " If it is something inside of her, than either... whatever the hell Alabaster is put it in her, or... or it got in before then. I've heard rumors Lord Persephone was cast out of Makai for doing something there that the High Council thought so extreme they needed her dead, so her own mother Cercil had to send her down to escape. I also heard there was... something sealed within Makai, a monster that had destroyed the Celestials. If what is inside of her is that monster-"

The monitors fizzled to Lilith's surprise. Aseya pressed her claws against her. "What did you do?" She hissed.

"I did nothing! You can see my hands! I didn't press anything!" Lilith managed to say, before the screens changed over to Persephone...

Nichelle pinched the ridge of her nose. "Heather... Heather was Molly's friend before any of us were, really. I don't know how Molly got to know her, but she already was temperamental when I joined the cafe, and she only got worse as we got more and more workers, and when Demmy joined, she became insufferable. She was actually going to be fired for her latest stunt but... then all of this happened." She couldn't help but chuckle at the antics of the Quatherals. They were such interesting beings, so unlike anything she was used to, and yet... so innocent as well in a way. " And yes, you can help us capture Heather and deal with the Wyvern King. GIven the severity of its wounds, I doubt it will recover quickly. If we can get there before it can fully recover, and if we can get Ubel to help-"

A deafening noise echoed across the Realm of the Ninjas. The sky above darkened, before the appearance of Persephone showed itself against it like the backdrop of a movie. Nichelle defensively prepared herself.

"My Creator... Persephone..." She hissed. She looked... different from what she had seen in her nightmares, but even so, that silver hair and dark skin were unmistakable...

"Whatever that was, it's gone now..." Proditor chuckled. "Likely just a meteorite. Nothing to be concerned with. And yes, your forces are truly ready to begin their invasion."

Minerva appeared next to him aboard Abaddon's vessel. "If you strike fast enough, they won't even know what hit the-"

The monitors around Abaddon began to flicker, and Persephone's appearance on them told Minerva that any hope of a pre-emptive strike was dead in the water. Little did she realize the same was happening to monitors all over Tengri's kingdom, as had it happened before. The screen showed Persephone in her full diminutive glory, and beside her was someone she recognized as Crigan, but... younger somehow. And in the transparent sphere behind the two...

"She... She has two of the Ninjas captive?!" Proditor gasped.

"Not just any two... Dante and Evron!" Minerva hissed. " How did she..."

"Tengri..." Persephone proclaimed with a level voice that barely held back thinly veiled contempt and rage within her words. "I warned you once to dismantle your Machine of Unmaking and surrender to me. Yet, what I see is no surrender party, but a fleet designed to destroy me. You laughed off my warnings and have signed your own death warrant. As you can see, I hold both Crigan the God of Death and the Ninjas Dante and Evron as my slaves, along with the God of Judgement's closest companion, and said human's world as well. You are playing with forces beyond your comprehension, and yet you believe those will be enough to secure your victory. A shame..."

Persephone held up her right hand, and stabbed into it with her left. Blackened blood flowed freely down from the opened wound, until she grabbed it. The blood stiffened, and solidified into a pitch black blade that flowed with red lines. She raised the fell blade, and crimson energies began to warp and flow around it. Bolts of lightning of the same color shot out from the blade, and detonated against the heavens, blasting away the clouds and sending deafening booms across Sheol. Crigan found himself staying as close to Persephone as he could, as that was where the lightning was least likely to strike. He clung to her, even though every fiber of his body told him to not do it.

"Behold, 'Conquering Star', a power greater than even your Machine of Unmaking! A power even the gods fear! This is the power that shall tear this reality asunder, and eradicate the divine and the fools once and for all! Let your ship commander be the sacrifice to drown your megalomania!"

With a single slash, Persephone swung the blade in a horizontal strike, and the destructive energies that had been built within were unleashed. A crescent wave of annihilation shot forward from the roof of the Palace of Shadows and carved through the air, and the shield around Sheol, as it traversed the thousands of miles between Sheol and Abaddon's fleet within seconds...

"PRODITOR, RETREAT!" Minerva leaped back into her rift as she realized the power that was coming their way, and Proditor followed suit...

---------------

"Fine, I'll play nice..." Heather huffed. "Even if I don't like it, which I really don't. Just don't piss me off, whore."

"Shouldn't it be you to avoid making me angry?" Aram held a clenched hand up, yet before she could do anything, the tower shook. A purple dark hue fell upon the tower, and both Aram and Heather turned to see a crescent shaped beam surge off into the distance from the Palace of Shadows.

" What the?! Who the fuck did that?!"

"My former boss." Aram smiled. " And someone you should stay very clear of if you value your life. For now, just enjoy the fireworks..."

The beam struck Goetia square in the chest. The great hydra bellowed as the beam tore through her with staggering ease, an entire right chunk of her body vaporized on impact. The resulting explosion sent her toppling away, yet before Jake and Goku's eyes, the damage done from the beam was already being undone. The flesh bulged out from the wound, and within seconds, Goetia was fully recovered, bar the still scarred lesser head. All of the serpent's eyes narrowed in anger. The serpent swung its tail upward, into what was left of the cave's ceiling. Jagged stalactites fell down to the ground, aiming to skewer Jake and Goku, while at the same time, molten hot breath raced forward from the serpent's mouths, in the hopes of cooking the saiyan and the dragon where they were...

Ubel smiled at the parting demigod, “I might have to take you up on that offer; I’ve got a couple planets in mind.” He mused, throwing up a hand in goodbye.

When the portal finally vanished, the guardian was left in the fields alone as ash rained down around him. It was then that a crack of thunder rumbled overhead, and Aphrodite descended from the heavens in the form of lightning. “A diamond for your thoughts?” She asked as she found a place beside him.

Ubel turned to greet her with still a smile on his face, and wrapped an arm around her. “Hey, Dovey... You look seriously burnt out, you okay?"

"I'll be alright, what about you?"

"Yeah..." Ubel trailed off and looked to where the portal had just been. "I... Think I just got turned down... But also have a date with someone?"

"Is it with that dark haired woman?" Aphrodite inquired.

Ubel looked at her strangely, "How'd you guess?"

"A little birdie told me. Did she leave?"

"Yeah, I gave her ride back to her place, why?"

The love goddess looked him in the eye, "Ubel... Is she an enemy?"

Ubel hesitated at first, but then answered with a headshake. "No, I think she's just a bit... Lost, burned by society one too many times. Inside, though, I can tell that she has a good heart, if a little black now."

Aphrodite peered at him silently a moment more, until she finally relented and nodded. "Okay, but just be careful, Ubel; love with a fractured but healing soul can be risky." She warned, but then smiled warmly. "But, it is also one of the most beautiful illustrations of love when everything falls together just right. Whoever this woman is, I hope you can at the very least bring some light back into her heart... To show her what it feels like to be cared about again."

"I will... You can count on it.” Ubel promised, before bumping her a little in the shoulder.

Aphrodite’s smile slowly devolved into a worry, and she looked away from the towering ninja.

Ubel frowned, “What is it?”

The goddess ran her fingers through her hair and shook her head. “Dante and Evron have both gone missing, and I don’t have even the slightest idea of where they might’ve gone.” She admitted.

Ubel closed his eyes to sigh. “So, Em’s gone too, huh?” He asked rhetorically.

Aphrodite looked at him, confused. “You already knew about Evron?”

“Mhm, I was sitting beside him when it happened. He just... Vanished without a trace. No energy signature, no portal, teleporting, just... Gone.”

There was a brief pause as Aphrodite processed this. “I’m worried, Ubel; there’s no telling where they are, or what could’ve happened to them!” She said, grabbing at her left elbow as a coping mechanism.

Ubel placed a hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her. “I’m sure they’re fine, Silver... I know they are. Those two can handle themselves.” He reassured, but could only hope such was the case in the back of his mind. Shortly thereafter, Ubel motioned towards the kingdom. “Come on, I think we should let the others know what’s going on so we can try and figure out where they are, and make sure they’re okay.”

Aphrodite nodded with but a tiny inkling of a smile, and walked beside Ubel as he led them back towards the estate. But, before they could get far, a deep and gravely voice suddenly shook the Realm of the Ninja to its core. In the blink of an eye, Ubel was suited up and held his mighty hammer at the ready, and Aphrodite had her great bow drawn. They got back to back and looked around for any signs of attack, for wherever the source of said voice came from. Then, the sky above darkened, almost to the point of night, and as they both craned their heads up to see why... They immediately laid eyes upon the cause, the source of the voice.

Persephone.

“Ubel...” Aphrodite murmured in shock.

“What the hell...” Ubel thought aloud.

As the warmonger continued to speak, her childish appearance a surprise in and of itself... The tiny ruler soon made a shocking claim... And she had the proof the back it up. There, a little ways behind her... A king, and prince held hostage. Dante and Evron, trapped within a spherical prison.

“By the gods.” Aphrodite gasped.

Ubel’s eyes darkened, his brow furrowed deeply. “Looks like we’ve found them.”

“Ubel, Aphrodite!” A familiar voice called out from behind.

The duo turned to find, surprisingly, Daeva running up to meet them.

“Daeva?!” Ubel exclaimed.

Moments before...

Daeva pushed past Demmy and the others to get a good look herself at the current state of her home. Shone in her eyes, and plastered along her entire face, was heartbreak, was confusion, and was a burning seriousness the likes of which were outstandingly rare for the young princess. Daeva remained deathly silent while she stared at the charred grounds, the towers of black smoke, and the rubble scattered across the lands.

She clenched a tight, tight fist. “Whoever did this...” She threatened under her breath, yet before she was able to finish, the same earth shattering voice washed over the realm. Daeva darted her gaze upward and found herself face-to face, staring into the eyes of the Queen of Sheol herself... Persephone.

“How did she...” Daeva’s voice trailed off, and her eyes grew large as she laid them upon the forms of her brothers, Evron, and... Dante?! Indeed, it was them; Persephone had somehow managed to capture the uncapturable, and had them on display for everyone to see, as if they were her prized possessions.

Without a word nor comment, Daeva turned around to face the group, her usual carefree attitude no longer present. Her eyes shone bright; she sensed the presence of Ubel and Aphrodite nearby, and the likes of Yzazil, Nichelle, Korraz and her squad, alongside the Quatheral and a few others at the estate.

“All of you, go to the estate and wait with the others; no screwing around, understand? Demmy, you know the way, get them and that Dragon Ball to safety. I’m gonna go find Ubel and Aphrodite, and we’ll meet you there. Go, now.” Daeva ordered, before her after image disappeared and left the group where they were, while the ninja herself went to find her fellow kin.

"Daeva?! Daeva!" Ubel exclaimed as he ran to hug the ninja in question. He picked her right off the ground, spun her around a few times, before setting her back down.

Daeva chuckled, "It's good to see you too, big guy." She mused and went to hug Aphrodite, whom squeezed her in a massive bear hug.

"Thank goodness you're okay!" The latter said.

"Peri, what happened to you? How did you get back?" Ubel inquired whilst looking her all over.

"It's a long story," Daeva began, "But I was with Dante and Jake, when we all got separated after the Machine of Unmaking fired, and I couldn't reach any of you guys after. Luckily, I ran into Demmy, and me and my new friend hitched a ride back with her and her posse."

Ubel raised a curious eyebrow, "New friend?"

"You two will meet her in a bit, but she's good people, I trust her."

Aphrodite smiled, "I'm sure she's wonderful, Peri." She replied supportively.

Daeva grinned back at first, but it swiftly changed into a frown of angst. "I almost worried myself sick thinking about what could've happened to you guys, and losing track of Dante, especially after..." She shuddered to think back to that moment, as did Ubel and Aphrodite. For while that episode didn't last long, thankfully... The entire multiverse had felt the effects of it.

But, the goddess managed another smile at the two siblings as she reassured them, "Neither of you have to worry about that, not anymore. The demon that used to plague Dante's heart is gone, and in its place, something greater... Something that you'll both surely see really soon."

The ninjas looked at each other, a bit confused, but mostly intrigued. Aphrodite wasn't known to keep secrets that well, being one to very much tell a gift recipient what said gift is before they've opened it. Her excitement simply gets the better of her every time, so Daeva and Ubel would just roll with it for now; sooner or later, their silver haired sister would unintentionally spill the beans.

"Well, at least we know where he and Rube are." Ubel stated, glancing up at the obnoxiously giant face of Persephone with a look of utter disdain.

"Little snot-nosed brat..." Daeva scoffed. "So, what's the plan to get them back?"

"Me and Aphrodite were just on our way to the others to discuss that when you came."

"Well, what the heck are we still standing around here for??? Come on, the sooner we can think of a plan, the sooner we can break Evron and Dante out of prison!"

With that, Daeva now led the way back to the estate, with Ubel and Aphrodite trailing right behind her...

"Behold, 'Conquering Star', a power greater than even your Machine of Unmaking! A power even the gods fear! This is the power that shall tear this reality asunder, and eradicate the divine and the fools once and for all! Let your ship commander be the sacrifice to drown your megalomania!"

Persephone's voice boomed overhead, stopping the trio in their tracks. And then, not only did they witness firsthand her galactic assault... But they all felt it as well. The total destructive might of that attack, the rage behind it, the speed... All from the hands of a mere child?!

"By the gods..." Aphrodite muttered, wide eyed.

Ubel gritted his teeth, "Daeva's right, let's not waste anymore time. Freeing Em and Evron is now our main priority. Then... We take Persephone down."

And, on that note, Daeva went to grab Aphrodite's hand, and the trio teleported to where their allies awaited.

___________________

Everything happened so fast, so quickly, that Evron didn't have a chance to fully register what all that baritone voice had tried to sell him, nor those visions he saw. Before he and his fellow guardian knew it, they had been hoisted to the roof of this looming palace and put on display like show animals, freak shows. There, they stared down the barrel of what looked to be a full scale armada, courtesy of one egotistical maniac. The ninjas had now found themselves caught in the middle of a civil war, neither side looking to back down.

Dante rose to his feet and stared over the small Queen, and at Tengri's fleet instead. "Looks like Tengri's not so chummy with Persephone anymore." He mentioned.

"Yeah, and it looks like he's overcompensating for something. Who the hell needs over a hundred giant ships to take down one brat?" Evron agreed with a hiss.

"This could be our way out. Now that she's distracted with him, she shouldn't notice us escaping. The question still, though, is how?"

Evron began to ponder deeply, wracking his brain for anything, anything that could help them. But then suddenly, an idea, one that was simple, so obvious, that Evron smacked himself on the forehead for not thinking of it sooner. "Gods, I'm an idiot!" He spat.

Dante furrowed his brow, "What is it?"

The cocky ninja turned to him, "When we first got here, Persephone's dumb assistant bragged about how this barrier was impenetrable from the inside, right?"

"Yeah, and?"

Evron grinned, "Buuuut... She never-"

"Said anything about the outside." Dante's face lit up as he stared at Evron. "She never said anything about the outside! You're a genius, Rube!"

"Hmph, you're just finding that out now?" A clone of Evron asked to the right of the Ninja Prime, whilst it peered in at him from the outside. A second one stood a little ways off to the left of the shield.

Evron looked between them both, crossing his arms. "Okay, boys, you know what to do: Get us the hell out of here!"

But before they could do anything, a crescent wave of total destruction swept across Sheol in less than a second, on a crash course straight towards Tengri's entire fleet. The ninjas watched on, slack jawed from the power they felt on display. From their estimate, that tidal wave had more than enough strength to wipe out every single ship at once.

"Whatever the two of you plan on doing, you'd better do it soon." Dante told the clones.

Evron nodded, "I need you guys to pick up the pace, just a bit!"

"You got it, boss!" The one on the right obliged.

"Hold still, this won't hurt a bit!" Said the one on the left.

And then, the doppelgangers each drew a hand out in front of themselves, and swiftly began to charge a Ki Surge. Both Dante and Evron braced themselves at the red energy grew more and more violent by the second.

"Alright, here we go!" The right one yelled as he gripped his charging arm to support it. "Two free ninjas coming right up in 3..2...."

Piccolo couldn't believe his eyes as he watched the sky, the events unfolding right there before him and everyone else. This... This child had managed to capture the mightiest of Guardians?! But how?! And then, she hurled forth her colossal strike against her apparent enemy, the one Piccolo had seen on his Earth... Tengri. The amount of power, it shook him to his core. What had he gotten himself into?!

"How... How is she doing this?! She's just a child!" Piccolo exclaimed.

"Don't underestimate her, Piccolo, the kid is a lot stronger than she looks." Ubel's voice suddenly responded from behind the gathered group. He, Aphrodite, and Daeva all made their way quickly up to them.

Piccolo turned to greet Ubel and Aphrodite with a nod, "Prince Ubel, Lady Aphrodite..." His found that his words escaped him the moment he laid eyes on Daeva. She was... Overwhelmingly beautiful, the likes of which he had never seen, nor ever thought possible. Piccolo knelt to one knee out of respect. "P-Princess Daeva... It is an honor to meet you, my name is Piccolo."

Daeva stared him curiously for a moment, before she let out a giggle. "You're funny, Piccolo. It's cool, you can stand back up, here-" She extended her hand.

The Namekian quickly took it and felt how soft and smooth her hands were, before he was all but lifted casually to his feet. The strength of these ninjas was still a foreign concept to him, and likely would remain so. "Thank you, princess." Piccolo said.

"Of course." Daeva smiled.

Ubel turned to face Yzazil and offered the judgement god a little nod of appreciation. "Looks like we have a new problem. Persephone can't be allowed to operate freely for much longer, and... She's got our brothers captive. We need to think of a plan to free them, and potentially stop the girl from causing anymore harm, or at the very least throw a wrench into her plans."

Glaxion turned to find herself facing an open, roaring mouth.

"Shut it, you mindless oaf!" she shouted as she grabbed the beast by the throat, just beneath its lower jaw. Her hand, covered in ice, spread frost all over the lindworm's throat and maw. It was so thoroughly frozen over that the poisonous glob it tried to spit came out as a jet of crystallizing acid, still attached to its gullet. Its attempts at escape thwarted by Glaxion's strength as a Borskall, it was helpless as the warrior used her opposite hand to swing her hammer, driving the mass of frozen acid back into the beast's throat and shattering both it and the ice. The creature recoiled as the ice exploded into a storm of flying shards, a hail of icicles both acidic and not flying across the lindworm's face and throat. Blood spilled from its open wounds and ravaged insides as the flurry of pointed icicles carved its flesh to ribbons, the larger fragments from the base of the frozen spray spearing deep into its throat. Some shards had even gone into its eyes and nostrils, red rivers flowing from both. Glaxion released her grip, the scaly creature collapsing before her. She raised her fist, and water from the nearby lake followed the movement of her clawed hand. Throwing her hand downwards, she brought down a hefty wave of frigid water on top of the trio of lindworms surrounding her. Crushed and pinned under the weight of the water crashing on top of them, the lindworms toppled flat on their fronts. They would never rise again. The water froze, trapping them, as icy spears thrust from the ice, stabbing the beasts through the heart.

As the ice slowly began to turn red, Glaxion turned, swinging her hammer onto her shoulder as she calmly strolled off towards where Gaiyan and Korraz were.

Alex had no expectations on what would be on the other side of the rift, but finding what was very recently an active battlefield as well as the image of a hoary-haired child threatening another, unseen force on the canvas of the sky still managed to surprise him.

A heavy paw nudged his shoulder. Gull looked at him fretfully. "Alex... is open sky?"

"No, Gull," he replied, patting her huge hand. "This is... I don't know what this is, really, but I'll still show you the type of sky I know soon, okay? One with real stars."

Fray, after taking a moment to absorb Persephone's message, noting- not without sadness, despite all their differences- that it also targeted her other half since she had allied herself with Tengri, reiterated Daeva's message with a deep grunt of, "Follow," a hairy hand pointed at Demmy. Then that same hand tore a hole in space, the dog-headed giant vanishing into it.

Alex and Gull, without anything else to do, looked to Demmy for direction.

Just as Ubel had promised, the portal delivered Dea directly into Persephone's palace.

Unfortunately, it gave her no indication of what was going on where she wanted to be, so she stepped out directly in front of the two clones of Evron.

A dumbstruck "What?" was all the superhuman had time to get out before she was struck by a wall of crimson ki, blasting her off her feet and into the inescapable sphere alongside the captured ninja.

She had more words for the aftermath of the unintentionally foiled escape attempt.

The two eldest ninjas, now unexpectedly sharing the space with a third body, were bombarded with a string of curses in Chinese.

"Oh, you ginger shitstain," Dea hissed as she slid out of her first language. She had grabbed Evron by the collar. "I should turn your face the same color as your stupid hair! What in the world was that?"

Dumbfounded. Complete and utterly dumbfounded is what both ninjas felt as their plan, their guaranteed key to freedom was shattered before their very eyes. And, as if in spite, the multiverse gave them a bunk mate instead.

Dante, after quickly having realized the situation at hand, just offered up a long groan, sliding a hand down his face for added emphasis. “Unbelievable.” He muttered.

Watching in a daze as his clones disappeared, Evron was soon shaken out of his trance when Dea grabbed a fist full of his collar.

“I... WHAT?!”

He grabbed Dea’s hand and pried it off his person. “Get your disgusting man hands off me, you psycho!” The ninja growled back as he shoved the woman into what the closest thing to a corner was in there. “You’re mad at me?! You’re the one who just ruined our escape out of this goddamn prison, you bowl-cutted fuck! I should break every bone in that misshapen husk of yours for that! Who the hell even are you?!”

“Evron... Wait.” Dante finally stepped in. He passed a glance at Dea, and sighed. “This is the woman I met back on Earth. Evron... Meet Dea.”

The crimson eyed guardian looked surprised. “This is who you were talking about?”

Dante nodded and looked towards her. “Long time no see, Wonder Woman.” He greeted, a clear hint of exasperation present.

“Hmph, more like a dynamic dumbass if you ask me, but...”

“Rube,” Dante shot a look at him, “seriously, dude?”

Evron grumbled in response and went to fix his collar, sneering at how wrinkled it had become after Dea wrangled it like a brute.

Returning his steely gaze back to the Chinese woman, Dante crossed his arms and leaned against the nearest wall. “What are you doing here? Besides, well...” He motioned around the barrier with his hands, “The obvious?”

Daeva felt a familiar presence emanating behind her, and couldn’t help but grin as she turned around to find that Fray had sure enough found her. “There you are, Fraybird, I was waiting for you!” She replied with a twinkle in her eye.

She motioned towards the others, starting with Ubel and Aphrodite. “Here, I’d like you to meet everyone! Fray, this is my older brother, Ubel, and that’s my sister, Aphrodite. Ubie, Dovey, this is my friend, Fray.”

Ubel regarded the tall and burly woman with a couple nods, and a warm smile. His mind was all but lazer focused on freeing their brothers. “Hi there, Fray, it’s a pleasure.” He greeted simply.

Aphrodite waved at her, flashing a bright grin. “Hello, lovely, it’s so nice to meet you. Daeva doesn’t bring home too many friends that often, so you must be very special to her!”

“Aphrodite...” Daeva grumbled under her breath as her cheeks flushed red.

The goddess smiled innocently, “Oops, sorry, Peri.”

Mock clearing her throat, Daeva continued with her little meet and greet. “And that’s Piccolo there, that perpetually angry looking guy is Yzazil, he’s the Judgment god, oooooo... That’s Nichelle over there, and these cuties down here are Cthelee, Fiotto, Evoex, an... Adorable unicorn that I don’t know, and a... Ohhh, what’s it called again, Ubel?”

Ubel looked to where Daeva was pointing, namely at the small monkey looking creature, and chuckled. “That’s a monkey, sweetie.”

“Right, a monkey!” She parroted before waving at the two new Quatheral members. “Name’s Daeva, and this is my partner-in-crime, Fray. Nice to meet you two!”

Shayatin's cold, empty eyes glared intensely at Karzahni, raising up a hand towards the encroaching wyvern. This pathetic creature dared think it could stop her here? She knew of hubris, but this... this was near suicidal arrogance. Ki channeled into the fallen ninja's hand, as she prepared to annihilate the foolish creature in a single, destructive blast...

But something was wrong. Some fell magic disrupted the flow of her Ki, preventing her from unleashing her destructive assault. The former yakuza's eyes turned down towards the strange plants the wyvern held. Of course... fools and their tricks. Those without power relied on tools to overcome their foes... something more pathetic than foolhardiness. As Karzahni approached her threateningly, Shayatin lunged forward, wrapping a hand around the base of the wyvern's neck, as her hand pressed tightly, slowly constricting the flow of air.

"I would suggest disposing of those plants if you enjoy your skull being attached to your spine," Shayatin hissed, visibly agitated.
----
"Mulek!" Immanuel from behind his barrier of light. The shield was visibly beginning to crack. "Stay back! That thing's light is lethal!"

As Mulek's scythe reached out into the fell light generated by Gigantis' body, she could only watched in shock as the azure flames around her scythe were snuffed out, swiftly followed by the weapon itself being batted aside by an unfathomable cosmic force, hurtling into one of the few remaining walls of the room they stood in.

"What... hubris... for you to think a lesser creature could harm my splendor," Raspaganje's voice boomed mockingly. "It took the combined might of all the world's heroes to best me once... you would be lucky to even scratch this worthless puppet's form while I wielded it."

From the violet light shining in the abyssal darkness emerged dozens of blackened, smoke-shrouded tendrils, which quickly began to burrow into Mulek's and Immanuel's barrier. "But worry not... you shall merely be the first of untold souls in this cycle to understand my pain. All shall soon bear witness to the breaking of the cycle..."

The destructive blast roared up from the remnants of Sheol like a lance heralding the end times. The assault conjured by Persephone was greeted with a volley of energy blasts from Tengri's fleet, but their counterattack was fruitless; one by one, the fleet descended into oblivion, consumed by the eruption of dark energy. Abaddon, shocked by this sudden display of raw might, fired his flagship's ultimate weapon - its lesser Machine of Unmaking - directly into the destructive eruption, its bolts of golden energy slicing into their fell foe, but not even they were enough to fully halt the assault.

"This... impossible! My black crusade... it is over!" Abaddon shouted in horror, before the wave of destruction washed over him and his flagship, obliterating the commander and the rest of his armada. What was once Tengri's premier fleet was reduced to nothing; not even a speck of it remained within the uncaring void of space...
----
"Hoooly fuck..."

Nyx's eyes widened, transfixed by the destructive display unleashed by Persephone. The entirety of the screen flashed with a fell light - the light of annihilation, wrought forth by the hand of Persephone. In an instant, what looked to be a dire invasion was reduced to little more than dust and ash. She felt the eruption reverberate in her chest, as it had all throughout Sheol, along with seeing its blinding flash behind her back.

"I knew something was wrong with that bitch... but I didn't think it was something like THAT."
____________________________________________________________
Scaroth, crippled but alive, limped off from the site of the battle, taking the words of Xpveinees into care. As quickly as he had appeared, the traitorous warlord disappeared... but thoughts still stuck in his head. Why had he been spared? Were they so foolish to think he would forgive this slight, this failure? not that he was against being spared - he rather liked being alive. it gave him a second chance to take the reins. But for now, he figured it'd be best to just lay low and avoid Tengri's ire... maybe he'd get lucky and the so-called 'Conquering Star' would dispose of himself...
----
Tengri stopped, transfixed on the screen as Persephone's visage popped up, his sapphire eyes narrowing with anger and annoyance. The Conquering Star clutched his spear tightly in defiance to the queen. She would DARE insult his power?! Had she not provoked enough of his ire?! She must have sought her own destruction...

That was, until he saw the destructive deluge she unleashed upon his fleet. Shock, anger, fear - these emotions all found themselves entering into Tengri's mind. How... how was this possible?! Such a feat rivaled that of even the mightiest ninja, Dante... how could this pint-sized, insignificant BRAT wield so much power in her feeble frame?!

"My fleet!" Tengri bellowed. "MY GLORIOUS FLEET!" The Conquering Star stamped his foot angrily into the ground, unable to restrain his ire. "HOW DARE SHE! I AM TENGRI, THE CONQUERING STAR! KING OF HEAVEN AND EARTH! This feeble imposter would DARE threaten MY reign?! consider her magic greater than MY creation?!"

A voice soon entered into Tengri's mind - the voice of Raspaganje.

"You have wasted enough time with your posturing, Tengri," the fell being's voice hissed. "I have bought you enough time with my efforts. Now it is time for you to begin the death knell of this reality..."

Tengri expression of anger and anguish suddenly twisted into one of mad glee. "Yes... yes! The Machine of Unmaking's greatest hour has come! And with it, the foundations of heaven shall come tumbling down! Persephone's power shall matter not when the whole of reality collapses upon her head!"

The shadowy warrior from before, clad in his ebony robes, suddenly appeared beside Tengri. "Shall I make preparations for your plan? I have heard of your desires to bait out the one named Ubel..."

The Conquering Star nodded to the figure. "Yes. Go to the Realm of the Ninja! Warn Ubel of his beloved's straits! And let him know that one false move, and the whole of reality shall crumble for his misstep!"

The figure nodded, before vanishing. Tengri looked back, but did not acknowledge the Quatheral or the fleeing Scaroth. He had a plan to do. He quickly hustled into his palace to begin the next step in his plans...
----
As Molly and Ananke made their way to Tengri's chambers, they were suddenly intercepted by the Conquering Star himself.

"Ananke!" The azure-skinned giant boomed, spear held tightly in hand. His eyes fell upon the form of Molly, eyeing her form in the form-fitting black dress Ananke had made for her. Not what he had envisioned... but he could not complain. Ananke knew how to make his concubines look simply ravishing. He glanced back towards the spider woman and continued. "The time has come. The death knell of the multiverse shall arrive sooner rather than later! And with Molly at my side, we shall usher in the new age with the crackle of divine thunder!"
____________________________________________________________
Yzazil's body flared with righteous anger as Persephone boomed and boasted, along with her impressive display of power. She... she had captured Dante and Evron? But how? And when? To hold so much power in such a short period of time... something dramatic must have changed within the queen.

But that was not what riled Yzazil's ire the most... it was the second half of her sentence. 'Yzazil's closest companion'.... no... she could not have... there was no way the queen could have known! Nyx... was she safe? He had failed to keep contact with her, since so much had happened since their battle in the Abyss. But how... and why... why Nyx? What benefit did kidnapping her serve?! She had done nothing to threaten the queen! She was helpless before her! She did not deserve to be held prisoner in that damnable woman's keep!

The god of Judgment glanced with empty eyes towards Ubel and Aphrodite. How... how could they just stand here, and not take action? This was the time to attack and cut off the head of the snake, not to wait around and ponder the next steps! There was far too much at stake...

Yzazil's azure gaze fell onto Nichelle, before he looked back to Ubel. "My niece is held captive there in Sheol as well... I cannot afford to wait around any longer! Nyx is worth more to me than my life... I shall must to her aid!"

A sapphire aura radiated around the God of Judgment. "Now is the time for action, not to sit around and think! You may follow in my tracks if you so wish, but my path is a dangerous one... I know this..."

The warrior looked to Nichelle with a nod; she had already mentioned a willingness to pursue both Persephone and the Wyvern King. In a flash, both he and the cloned warrior were gone...

As Yzazil departed, however, a new figure soon came in to make his presence known.

Behind Ubel, Daeva, Aphrodite, and the others, a shady, shadow-wrapped figure appeared, his hair and eyes white as snow, before he spoke. "I'd hold off a bit on confronting Persephone if I were you, Ubel... I think you have a bit more of a ... pressing issue to handle first."
____________________________________________________________
Owlzarus nodded solemnly to Booled, as fragments of time- images of the long distant past, emotions of those present, the sounds of the chaos and joy that ravaged all time periods- floated past them. "This timeline seems to be during a period of intense conflict while Persephone reigned... more than likely, Jake has found his way to become intertwined in this timeline's version of the event. All we need to do is find the specific strand that leads to that instance, and we will find Jake..."

Saint Kabuto kept his sights on Godzilla. He could see the monster thinking... what was anybody's guess. He continued to try to steer the cruel beast in the right direction. "There isn't anything left to prove that you haven't. You've slain the mother of the Giants and the Titans. The Chaos Bringer lay decimated..."

Godzilla highly doubted that. As they stood face to face, he could detect the slumbering giants within the ship. The very earth of this world made Godzilla's senses scream---it was as if he were standing on one, planetary sized monstrosity. Not even Unicron felt this large. Not just one Gigantomachia stood right within the walls of the Pegasus's Tavern, but several...

Raspaganje was there too. In some form. Even as Kabuto waxed philosophical, he grew less and less worried about staying in some small alliance. Not when he could end several threats right then and there. He could even get rid of one of the more annoying ones.

Godzilla took aim at the part of the ship where there were the most despised clustered: the hallway where Hercules stood against the Lord of Decay, and the chamber less than fifty meters away wherein lay the iron man and Raspaganje's servant.

However, Kabuto sprung to action immediately upon the firing of Godzilla's breath. The titanic insectoid threw himself in front of the atomic blast. With a tremendous thud, the blast struck him in the abdomen and sent Kabuto sailing at near light speed toward the ship. A death sentence.

That was, if Kabuto wasn't specifically designed to deal with this. The ray's piercing? Heat? Radiation? All null and void against his hardened shell. Kabuto stopped himself in time to avoid colliding with the ship. However there was no such time to avoid being grabbed by Godzilla.

Godzilla's claws tore into Kabuto's shoulders, digging massive trenches into both his upper arms. Using the combined force of his legs and lower arms, the beetle smacked Godzilla in the sternum and sent the monster stumbling back more than what Kabuto expected. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, Kabuto slashed one of his claws across Godzilla's face and hooked it into his mouth. Kabuto took flight, attempting to pull Godzilla back but to no avail. Fangs sunk deep into his claw as the Behemoth swung its upper body violently, sending Kabuto violently crashing into the island below the ship.

Instead of the planet being evaporated, Kabuto found himself laying on a writhing mass of vines. Godzilla didn't seem to perceive what was happening yet. There were more than two monsters on this planet's surface. "We don't have to do this."

Godzilla thrust his foot into the back of Kabuto's head, burying his face in the vines. They ripped and tore as Godzilla then grabbed the insect by the horn and dragged him across the ground. Each individual vine was like a whip, gouging pockets out of the pirate's face. When they split, massive gushes of glowing spores and red fluid spewed into the air. Kabuto thrust his claws into the vines and let out a massive howl, slamming a wall of air into Godzilla's thigh and causing the beast to stumble. "You don't want to help? It's your funeral!"

Kabuto held himself high and his wings vibrated, filling the illuminated storm with the sound of a cricket's song amplified to the trillionth degree and twisted into a melancholy melody. Godzilla suddenly found himself off balance. The bug hadn't used this move before. It must have been bettering its technique.

He roared defiantly, the sound piercing Kabuto's song long enough for Godzilla to get closer. However, Kabuto flew away once the music drowned out Godzilla's own. The rumbling which could be felt for many systems finally fully penetrated Godzilla's cranium. The vision of the volcanic giant swam. His feet got in the way of one another.

Godzilla collapsed. The world was topsy turvy. He could only hear the muffle, "A shanty just for you. I like to call it: Fall of the Beast King."

Godzilla hissed and thrashed defiantly, each thrash cutting holes in the dimension except for those which contacted the planet's surface. The force carried through the waves of his fingers across dimensional barriers collapsed stars. But these holes were closed as quickly as they opened.

Izzzain flew beside Kabuto. "Your mom's got some skills, I gotta admit. But can he die a little less destructively? I can't close these holes fast enough to avoid who knows how many mass extinctions."

"Seems like Hercules didn't need the others after all," Kabuto said. There was a deep sound of relief in his voice. Talking to her made Kabuto uncomfortable with the idea of the lizard beast ever fighting Godzilla. Too young...

Kabuto approached Godzilla and grabbed him by the shoulders with his lower arms. He was batted away by Godzilla's violent thrashing, a strike to the jaw sending it out of socket. "Damn..."

That's when he realized that the hit was quite deliberate. As he tried to stand, fangs dug into his neck and he was lifted into the air.

"Holy fuck! Kabuto, no!"

"Get---"

Godzilla's maw tightened around his neck, straining his voice. He could see blood running down from Godzilla's ears. He had deafened himself to stop the effects of the song.

Kabuto smacked Godzilla with all six of his limbs, knocking the beast back but at the sacrifice of slashing his throat wide open. Kabuto's knees buckled. "---him away now."

"My dimension won't hold him."

Godzilla's fangs flashed in a sneer as he slowly approached Kabuto again. The seams upon his body crackled purple.

"The lightning."

Izzzain twisted around. A thunderstorm. Surely powered by Hercules. The pirate flew away.

Godzilla smacked Kabuto to the ground with his tail, shattering the internal structure of one of his limbs. He placed his foot on Kabuto's chest and aimed a blast straight for the beetle's gaping wound. This one wasn't going to be swift. It would be slow. One of many sweet payoffs this day would bring.

But a miracle happened. The blood was no longer running from Godzilla's ear. Regeneration had its downsides.

Kabuto let out a last desperate song, causing Godzilla to trip. As the beast attempted to adjust itself, Kabuto rammed his massive horn in a clean upper cut, the force of Kabuto's wings and body all going into one massive headbutt.

Godzilla, already off balance was sent sailing, gravity barely holding him as he flew around the planet. He came in like a flaming meteor behind Kabuto, whom stopped the titan in its tracks by closing his pincers around Godzilla's neck. He then chomped his inner jaws onto a row of spines and sung his song as he shot into the air.

Godzilla's spines dug into Kabuto's shell, ripping holes like ever so many knife wounds as he struggled despite also being held by Kabuto's forelimbs. The pirate groaned in agony and concentration. Then, a green spiral opened above.

Even in Godzilla's disoriented state he could tell what it was. He thrashed his head, freeing it from Kabuto's grip but it was already too late. Both monsters crashed violently into a massive glowing structure and then into black ground. The sheer force shook the terrain for millions of miles.

Godzilla released a low growl, wasting no time to grab the disoriented Kabuto and flip him over his shoulder, slamming the pirate beast with enough force to obliterate a super Earth. But, this created only a relatively small indent. Godzilla reeled his head back surprised by this development.

The sky was a dark purple hue, black clouds offering a glimpse at the flat disk on the horizon over a flat dark sea bordered by land that was featureless and black as laser cut obsidian. Glowing white towers of various strange boxy shapes dotted the landscape, arranged oddly as if around streets. Each of these towers must have been more durable than several planets put together and the ground much more. Just this square kilometer likely was as durable as a solar system. It gave Godzilla a strange sense of nostalgia. The world was strange, but it was so reminiscent of when he was smaller... weaker.

His warm breath steamed ever more in the subzero climate as he huffed. Where had the bug brought him? He whirled around and fired a tremendous blast into Kabuto's abdomen, the wound ed enemy shrieking in pain as it set his organs aflame and dug him thousands of kilometers into the ground. Godzilla turned ready to enter the sea once more.

Wait. Last time they fought, this exact thing happened. He had to finish it for good. He approached the hole and readied a blast. Suddenly, he was tugged backward. A vine constricted around his neck, causing his attack to fire into the air. Godzilla planted his feet deep into the terrain. Much to his surprise, whatever it was continued to pull it back.

Kabuto smiled in satisfaction as his vision faded. The teleportation had worked. Next to no casualties. The planet even would be spared. The scenario had been put in place.

It was time for Godzilla vs. Biollante.
__________
After the initial attack and the the energy suddenly found itself funneling backward. It swirled and attempted to free itself, but ultimately found itself in a stalemate. Hercules steadied himself. That attack had caught him off guard.

"You talk big," Hercules said. "But you haven't fought me. Not for real."

He electrified the floor, ripping the tendrils apart and tearing through Raspaganje's onslaught.
_________
A kick to the distracted Yakuza's head sent Shayatin face first into a wall, spilling the Dragon Balls in several directions. He noted Karzahni. He supposed he couldn't taunt Shayatin the way he would like.

"Enjoy your meal!"

About three pirates materialized from the hallways. Urs-Major, the four-armed alien Android who was Karzahni's bodyguard earlier Sim and a ten limbed scaly pirate named Granate. "What's the commotion?"

"How fucking incompetent are you? This is the problem! Fight her so I can get these Dragon Balls out of here!"

The wall warped around Shayatin's head, trapping her within in an attempt to suffocate. Sim and Granate lunged at Shayatin with swords aimed at her head, neck and heart.

Meanwhile, Nonce rolled the spheres away. As the ship swayed from the forces at play, the room tipped and two funneled into the hole made by knocking away Izzzain. "Shit."
__________
Regeneration was an annoying power for your enemy to have. Especially when aiming for the head was seemingly a foreign concept to your only ally. At this point, Jake would rather have an angry Godzilla as his companion. Seemed as likely to be burnt alive.

Some things were clear: they could hurt Goetia but she was also capable of hurting them. And their tactics of directly attacking it were not working. Goku aimed a beam at the stalactites while Jake unleashed a massive blast to carve through the torrent of fire, slamming into one of the demon's faces.

Still, burns formed on both warrior's bodies from the proximity to the flames. Both cried out with pure adrenaline. Jake directed a shot into Goetia's mouths, shielding himself from the flames with an aura. He moved in closely, digging his claws into her flesh. For such a massive beast, this was less than even surface level. But there was something hidden within each as he raked his hands across her neck he also dispelled pulses of energy through her body, setting it alight from within. These would likely not permanently injure her but rather would serve as a distraction so he could figure something out. His eyes turned to Tyralus. That creature had been performing the ritual that made this thing... perhaps they knew of a way to undo it.

Jake had no time to check whether his energy balls were still going off. He had to act quickly. Landing on Tyralus's head he shared enough of his power to wake Tyralus up. "Do you know of a way to take that monster down?"

Goku had to exit the chamber to avoid the flames. He panted. He had thrown a lot into that blast. Now, he could barely maintain this form. Even as the thought crossed him, his hair fell down in front of his face. He collapsed onto a pile of rocks.
___________
The destruction of Tyralus's fleet didn't phase The Other so much as the sight of Dante and Evron captured. Go'ren looked over at the stunned god. "You know a way to take that out, oh God of Wisdom?"

The last time he'd seen Evron, the Guardian was lively. They had been in a fight not too long ago but it wasn't him questioning what could have done this that bothered him. To think he had spent so much time away only for... this to happen to them. At a despot's mercy, used as tools to intimidate and goad the others into battle... it filled him with emotion. He wanted to curse Godzilla, the pantheon but he still couldn't help but reflect on himself.

"Another rescue mission?" Xarm said.

"Looks like it," Beetle said.

"Think Kabuto can handle that?"

"Undoubtedly," Beetle said. "But I can't let my son in on this. He's gone through enough."

"I get it," Xarm shrugged. He remembered his home world. He wished Beetle had a song for that.

The Quatheral group were bust chatting amongst themselves about what was going on recently, save for Cthelee, who was looking traditionally nervous as usual. So much stress... He already missed the times where he was in the room with Aphrodite and the others.

Fiotto swiveled his head to face the new incomer to greet them. Despite Fray's difference from all the other humanoid creatures here, to these creatures didn't seem phased by her appearance. "Greetings! Nice to meet you! I can make you tea if you wish!" Fiotto proudly exclaimed. Not even waiting for an answer, Fiotto already began to make Fray a cup of tea.

Uquillious's eyes widened at the sight of Daeva. She was so pretty... Her tail wagged a bit once she mentioned her. She was about to respond, but her companion started to speak before her.

"Oooh! Yeah! You haven't met us yet! I'm Markeyy! And my good pal here is named Uquillious! She helped out save a bunch of kids earlier! She's like a hero like you!" Markeyy beamed, showing his blocky white teeth proudly.

Uquillious blushed a little and chuckled. "M-Markeyyyy.. Don't phrase it like that! I'm not a hero.. I just had to do what I did."

[Border]"FIOTTO?"[/Border]

"H-Hrrm? Yes Evoex?"

[Border]"WHAT THE F@($ IS A MONKEY?"[/Border]

"I don't know! Maybe ask Daeva or Ubel! I'm not an animal expert! I'm a bow tie enthusiast! I can tell you every single bow tie in my collection however! You see, I have a bunch of them! As you already know! The most common ones I get are made of tinfoil. For some reason I keep getting a lot of those. Mostly from people that I think don't like me very much."

[Border]"WELL REST ASSURED, LITTLE FIOTTO! I AM INTERESTED IN YOUR LITTLE BOW TIE COLLECTION."[/Border]

Just as Fray and Daeva were about to head off, Cthelee lifted his head to see Fray. To be honest, he was only half paying attention when Daeva called out his name. He was still thinking of trying to keep every Quatheral safe. When he did see Fray though, his eyes widened a bit. Not out of fear, but excitement! In a good while, Cthelee was elated to see someone new! Cthelee quickly rushed over Fray, spreading out his wings in a friendly manner.

Cider let out a sigh of relief as Tengri started to run towards. Oh thank Quatheral! Tengri did hear them!

"T-Thanks Blue gu-" Cider didn't have time to finish her sentence as Tengri quickly zipped past them. Cider's ears foled down, just staring at Tengri in disbelief as he ignored them. They helped him against the troops, and he's just going to ignore them like that!? Cider's ears stood up fully and stomped her foot. "WHAT THE HECK!?" She outstretched her arms towards the direction of Tengri and stomped a foot.

Xpveinees just groaned, still clutching onto her wound. More blood began to pour out from her wound. She needed it bandaged it up fast. She could still feel the cold, unforgiving crystals fitting unnaturally in her body. She stumbled and nearly toppled over. "N-NGGH! N-Noop! C-Can't stand!" She used the spear to support herself, but it slipped, causing her to come crashing down hard onto the sandstone. 'B-Breeaaak.. Break here please... Stupid wound! Stupid pain!"

"How'd we even do that? Just go searching, right? I'm good at that." Boore saluted and began to fly around quickly, trying to spot the correct path to enter.

Booled nodded, heading in a opposite direction from Boore to cover up more ground.

After a very long 5 minutes, Boore suddenly shouted out. "I think I found it!" He pointed excitedly to the point of interest, having a dull flow, moving around like a serpent.

Ubel threw out a desperate hand at Yzazil as the god was close to leaving. "Yzazil wait! We need a-"

It was too late, both he, and Nichelle had disappeared in a flash, leaving the others behind.

"Plan..." Ubel finished with a sigh and a shake of his head. "Damn, he's heading straight into a meatgrinder."

"We shouldn't judge Yzazil's hastiness too harshly, Ubel. Nyx, and Immanuel are the only real family he has." Aphrodite defended.

"I know, I know... But Persephone on her current state is someone whom we can't afford to just blindly attack. My brothers, Daeva... They're worth more to me than my entire life, too, but we also need to be smart. We've seen what rushing into things has gotten us, and with someone of a caliber like Persephone is... We can't afford a misstep."

Aphrodite nodded slowly, delicately crossing her arms. "You're right, I know you're right, I just... I know where Yzazil is coming from, that's all."

Ubel's expression softened, "So do I, Dovey." He glanced to where the god last stood. "But, you're wrong about one thing, Aphrodite..." He looked back to her, "Nyx and Immanuel aren't the only family Yzazil has... Because he's got us as well."

The goddess smiled, "He's got us."

With that, the ninja turned his attention to Piccolo, and the gathered pirates standing near. With how strong each of these fighters were, alongside himself, Daeva, Fray, and possibly Aphrodite, this was anything but a ragtag group. "Alright, everyone, listen up." Ubel spoke. "We need to come up with a rescue plan for Dante and Evron, and we need to do it now. Does anyone have any ideas?"

Yet, before anyone could have so much as a chance to speak, an unfamiliar presence wisped behind the others. Ubel and the girls all turned around to see who had come, and were met by a shadow-clad being, armed with ghostly white hair, and a pair of eyes to match. The trio didn't know what it was, but something felt inherently wrong about this entity; it didn't belong here. And, as it spoke, only did their suspicions grow stronger. The Yakuza exchanged glances, before Ubel was the one to speak up.

"Who are you?" He fairly asked.

The sudden appearance of Tengri made Ananke stop in her tracks, though she remembered to keep a tight grip upon the struggling Molly's wrist. "Yes, Tengri. The hour of damnation for this reality has come. And your concubine is prepared for you, with this dress and the one you requested." She pulled the other dress out from behind her, then stepped forward. " She is ready for your big announcement."

Molly stared at both figures. "A-announcement?!" She stammered. Her mind still reeled from what her reflection had told her, and of the true identity of the being who called herself Ananke. What was going on? What did Tengri plan to announce?

"CERCIl'S SCYTHE!" Mulek shouted, before she found herself forced behind the barrier. To think, even such a gift as that was so useless in the face of this adversary...

She watched as Hercules tore through the evil entity's assault, and moved to assist him. Her wings spread out in full, and a strange sickly light shone out and tore through Raspaganje's own, anything to push back the evil being...

------------

Karzahni was freed of Shayatin's grip thanks to the intervention of Nonce and the others. He landed on the ground, his hands rubbed against his sore neck. Oh, how this reminded him of when he pissed off Minos so often early on in Persephone's rule, the possibility of death from such a position had started to become numb to the runt dragon.

That didn't mean he didn't fear it all the same.

His eyes spotted the dragon balls roll down into a hole, and he dove down for them. His tail snaked down and wrapped around the two spheres, and pulled them back up. "Safe..." He sighed, as he began to move away from the combat...

_________________________

The other side was more silent than Demmy had expected. All eyes were upon the sky, and in the sky.. was Persephone's image. There was no doubt in Demmy's mind, it was the ruler of Sheol. And worse, she had two of the Ninjas and Crigan captive...

But it was the show of force that stunned her the most. When Demogorgon had once been the Ruler of Sheol herself, she had prided herself in being head and shoulders above anyone else in power, a pride that had been shattered alongside her quest for revenge when Cercil had told her she couldn't get what she wanted. Even still, among the residents of Sheol and The Abyss, Demogorgon was an anomaly in power, even amongst her own family, and few others could hope to hold a candle against her.

What Persephone had did, put anything Demmy had done to shame. To think she held that kind of power at her fingertips, to wipe out an entire fleet with ease...

She looked back at Alex, Gull, and Risel. "This is... kinda our home base but... yeah, we're busier than expected-"

"You call them having Crigan captive as 'busier?'" Mara snapped. "He's back in their chains again, and you're just writing it off as though it's just a little busier than normal?!"

"Because HIM being captive isn't as pressing as the other two!" Demmy shut Mara down. "Look, I get it, your husband is now Persephone's slave again, and that sucks, but it's not as pressing as two of the actual guardians of the multiverse being her captives! I'm also trying not to stress people out!"

Mara could only stare in disbelief and rage. Her teeth were gritted together, and she clenched her fists. "That bitch... She ruined my life all because she could not control everything and anything in her little kingdom! And now she's doing it again!"

_---------

Tenkarus was silent. She stared up at the display of power that had happened. So many ships, so many vessels of great size... reduced to ashes by... Persephone...

The Celestial collapsed upon her knees. How had she... gained so much power? How had Persephone become... so different, so unlike what she was used to? What had happened to her? Never had Persephone been like that... Never at... at all...

The Persephone she had known in life was a timid child, a frightened girl who stuck close to her older sister's side and never strayed from it. A girl who feared the dark and anything she didn't understand. A girl Tenkarus could easily bully and push aside, but who would often find ways to turn that upside down. A girl with a sweet, honest smile, and a gentle demeanor.

This was not that Persephone. She was a striking resemblance to that young Persephone in appearance, but nothing else matched.

No, this was like the other Persephone she had seen, the one that had plagued her mind ever since she had experienced the Machine's firing. The hardened ruler who lorded over her people with an iron fist, the one who believed in power over everything else. This Persephone was power incarnate, a tyrant who ruled with fear...

A tyrant... like Titania had been.

At the appearance of the shadowy being, she turned and readied herself. "Are you someone who follows Persephone, or perhaps Tengri? State your business, and make it fast!"

_______________________

As the fleet was reduced to rubble that rained down upon the world beneath them, Persephone stared up at the sky. "Alabaster, cut the transmission." She whispered into the earpiece. In that moment, the transmission was cut off across the cosmos.

And no better time, as a commotion caused Persephone to turn back toward the sphere. THere, within it, wasn't just Dante and Evron, but...

"D-Dea?!" Persephone gasped. At once she reached her hand forward, and the sphere let her hand move in. She grabbed Dea by the wrist, and pulled her out of the sphere. A brief barrier of ice rose between Dea and the Ninjas still within, to keep them from using that as an escape measure. She turned to look up at the Chinese woman. "I... how did you get... No, I'm glad you are back." Persephone let a small smile move across her face. "I needed some good news for once, and I can only hope you have it for me. I assume your mission was a success?"

Beside Persephone, Crigan could only watch the sequence of events unfold in silence. Who.. Who was this woman Persephone seemed so casual with? An ally of hers, someone she had persuaded to join her cause?

Unbenownst to either Persy or Crigan, Alabaster appeared right alongside the two trapped Ninjas just outside of the bubble. She looked over to them, and shook her head in a playful mocking manner. Escape would not be so easy... She brought her middle finger up to her left eye and pulled down on the skin below it, and stuck her tongue out.

-------

Lae and Aseya stared in disbelief at the show of power from Peresphone. "She... She had this much at her disposal... this whole time..." Lae whispered to himself. "Illogical."

"You never knew because you were too busy away on that computer and not being alongside Lord Persephone." Lilith proudly puffed her chest out. " She's taken in the powers of many gods, and of Sutekh himself. I was there. I witnessed it. But... if the thing that inhabits her has those powers as well... Whatever it is that is in Lord Persephone..."

No sooner did she finish, than a burst of light shone through the command room. Lilith shielded her eyes, as a pair of figures appeared in the middle of the command room...

Goetia's snarls and howls echoed through the ruined mountainside as the blasts and smoke blinded her. She snapped and thrashed about, hoping to strike out at her prey, but all she hit was rock and dirt.

"WHERE HAVE YOU GONE, MORTALS?! SHOW YOURSELVES!"

A new voice reached her ears, followed by a blast of divine energy that nearly sent her toppling head over heels. "I can sense Mara's life force within you... Demon born of Persephone's ire, RELEASE HER!"

The massive serpent bellowed as she rose back up. There was something about this voice that pissed her off on a molecular level, something that made her murderously angry. She snapped at the direction of the voice, but there was nothing there. Something rammed into her, and she tried to retaliate, but only hit dirt and rock.

A ways off, Tyralus was in bad shape. The top of his skull had been blasted apart, leaving only the barren eyes to stare up at Jake in bewilderment and confusion as he came back to. Raw flesh bled and shuddered as he rose to her feet. "You need... my help? Against that thing, I don't even know..."

He looked. The God of Death, Crigan, had appeared to fight Goetia, and thanks to the serpent's blindness, he had the edge, but that wouldn't last, Not so long as...

"There is a way." Tyralus coughed. "I cannot undo the ritual, but I know how to weaken that thing... YOu need to seperate... The host from the rest of the body...Easier said than done but..."

With a thunderous grumble, Tyralus rose to his feet, and flexed his claws. "HEY, BITCH!" He snarled as he charged forward. Crigan flew out of the way just in time for Tyralus's claws to dig deep into Goetia's flesh, and the serpent screamed in pained agony. "TIME TO SEPARATE YOU APART!"

As Glaxion went on her way to rejoin her friends, she noticed in the corner of her cold eye a shadowy figure looming before some of the smaller people. She glanced back to Gaiyan and Korraz. They saw it too.

"No more dragons, so we must move on to different prey," the icy warrior said, a tilt of her head indicating the obscure apparition.

The healer tapped the bigger Borskall's upper arm with the back of her finger — what she could reach with her considerably shorter height — suggesting she goes with the hammer wielder.

Together, the giants joined up with their allies, ready to support them.

Shayatin let out what could only be described as an angry, feral growl as she was suddenly swarmed by three pirates at once. Of course... some distraction her master had provided. It seemed she was have to do all the work once more, while he reaped the benefits of her efforts...

Grabbing the hunks of wall wrapped around her head, Shayatin ripped apart the metallic seal with a swift tug, as she saw Sim and Granate lunging towards her. The fallen Yakuza raised one portion of the wall, using it to intercept the first pirate's blade - Sim's, to be more specific-, before she spun her body around, using the momentum and her raw brute strength to twist Sim into direct interception with Granate's blade! The eight-armed pirate's sword instead found itself buried deep into the Android's chest, before the momentum ripped his blade from his hand and sent both him and Sim slamming into the opposite wall.

Further maintaining her momentum, Shayatin relinquished her grip on the remaining portion of wall she grasped onto, flinging it like a deadly discus with enough force to become impaled into Granate's shoulder, pinning him to the wall. The fallen Yakuza's gaze turned to Ursa Major, burning with thinly veiled disdain, as an ebony tendril erupted from her side and buried itself into the pirate's shoulder and pinning him against the far wall.

"I once considered simply entering here and claiming my master's prize..." Shayatin snarled, corrupted ki gathering in her hands - one pointed at Ursa Major, the other at Sim and Granate, "but now you have earned my ire. Now, I shall see to it every last mariner on this vessel dies!"

The light in her hands intensified, before Shayatin unleashed a destructive blast of purple-hued energy from both her palms, disintegrating everything that got in their paths...
----
Seeing Mulek and Hercules taking the offensive against Raspaganje, Immanuel chose to focus his efforts on intensifying his barrier around the three of them. The God of Light's heavenly aegis strengthened with brilliant golden light, serving to protect the two brave warriors from the destructive, malevolent light of the Lord of Decay.

Raspaganje seemed to mockingly laugh as Mulek and Hercules unleashed their destructive assault upon the fell god. Hercules' blast of lightning sliced through Raspaganje's tendrils, dissipating the eldritch emanations as it raced towards the eldritch creature's core. Mulek's light similarly sliced through the destructive light, reaching towards the destructive core within Gigantis' body. However, as the two warriors' attacks - one, a pariah of heaven; the other, a rebel against it - struck the swirling mass of darkness within the fell light, they suddenly seemed to vanish into its event horizon, swallowed up by its horrid power.

"An impressive display, Hercules... but nothing more." The light within the fell core began to intensify in response to the absorption. "Now... FALL!"

Suddenly, a destructive exhalation erupted from the black hole-like sphere at the center of Gigantis' body - a swirling mixture of Mulek's holy light, Hercules' crackling lightning, and the fell energy of the Lord of Decay himself! The blast engulfed the three warriors, shattering Immanuel's protective barrier, before it sliced through Hercules' ship! The blast struck with such force, it sent the trio of god-like heroes rocketing backwards, sending waves of crippling, paralytic pain through Mulek and Hercules. Not even the God of Light's immaterial form was able to resist this fell magic as the ship around them seemed to crumble unto nothing. As the fell eruption faded, it soon became apparent that a fourth of Hercules' vessel had been annihilated in the blast.

As the dust cleared, the hero's bodies tingly and numb from the dark blast of Raspaganje, a dark cloud gathered in the empty void where a good portion of Hercules' ship once was. Within the cloud, the form of Gigantis, bent and broken by the Lord of Decay's corruption, seemed to slowly fade, as a fell white light erupted forth, swallowing up what remained of his form. The shimmering radiance was followed by six burning red eyes emerging from the void, each glaring at the assembled heroes.

"You are strong... stronger than most who have faced me," Raspaganje's voice hissed. "But I am beyond strength. The breaking of the cycle shall only be the beginning. When the Machine of Unmaking's final din rings, all shall fade unto oblivion... and in its stead, only I shall remain. In place of war and strife, there shall be void... in place of the boom and bustle of life, there shall be the peaceful silence of death... what shall remain of this multiverse shall be a world without pain, without suffering... where for once, all may finally rest."

"Your plans shall fail, fell god!" Immanuel replied, fighting against Raspaganje's binds with all his might. "It is not merely us that oppose you! The guardians of the multiverse... Jake... even Persephone stands against you!"

"Is that so?" Raspaganje laughed mockingly. "And where are they now? Wasting time with petty squabbles... rushing to their own dooms, against futile odds. Attempting to shatter the binds of fate, without understanding its futility. Your allies are short-sighted fools, mere pawns in a cosmic game. You cannot even begin to comprehend how meaningless your efforts are!"

From the light emerged hundreds of shadowy tendrils, half of which slithered back into Hercules' ship, seeking out the dragonballs that remained inside. The other half began to crackle with fell energy, aimed at the three warriors. "Not that your thoughts shall matter. Your journeys end here. Soon, silence will be your only companion..."

Dozens of fell purple-hued beams erupted from the tendrils, aiming to obliterate the heroes...

As the figures stepped into the command room, Nyx swiftly spun around on her heel, drawing her pistol as she did so.

"Nyx," a familiar voice echoed from the phantasmal light. "At ease." From the light, a familiar horned helm began to emerge, alongside a figure wielding twin blades.

The woman lowered her pistol, eyes widening. "U-uncle Yzzy? Is that you?"

The figure fully emerged, revealing it was indeed who she thought it was. Smile wide, Nyx ran up to the armored god, giving him a full-body hug. "Uncle Yzzy! I knew you'd come for me!"

The God of Judgment offered Nyx a reciprocal hug. "Nyx... I was worried about you. Persephone announced you were in danger, and I could not allow you to fester in her domain alone."

He looked to Lae and Aseya as well. "I'm getting you all out of here."

Tengri's cold, metallic hand wrapped itself around Molly's struggling wrist, his smile widening madly. "Were you not informed, beloved one? You are the bait for my fell rival! With you at my side, the mighty Ubel shall be drawn to us like flies to a bloated corpse! But our battle shall be much different this time... with the stars of heaven shining upon me, and Anatyemiin in my grasp, he shall taste the humiliation of defeat, and cold embrace of death with it!"

Raising up his gauntleted hand to his flagship up above, the Conquering Star and his bride suddenly vanished in a bolt of golden light, before they found themselves aboard the massive vessel, within Tengri's throne room. However, his eyes were suddenly greeted by his throne room completely vandalized! Strange colors adorned his mighty throne, along with many of the command consoles lining the walls. Graffitti tarnished much of his menacing ship's allure.

"Who... WHO WOULD DARE?!" Tengri boomed, glancing about to find the culprit. unable to figure out the source of the vandalization, the Conquering Star huffed, before he began to tap on the control console near his throne. "No matter... my announcement shall not go hindered by this minor setback!"

The figure smiled at the assembly of heroes, glancing about at the warriors assembled in the Realm of the Ninja.

"My, what a great band of heroes you have here... two giants, a werewolf, a rejected princess, and a whole menagerie of magical ninjas." The figure let out a laugh. "I can't say I am entirely impressed, but there must be something to you all."

The figure turned his empty white gaze to Ubel. "My name is not important, but on my world, I was known as the Colossal Despot, the ruler of the dark world."

The figure's smile widened. "But let's not waste time with the exchange of titles, hmm? I have an important announcement for you. One regarding... someone close to you."

The Colossal Despot pushed himself off of the object he was leaned against, allowing his shadowy cape to billow in the wind. He raises a hand, as a swirling sphere of antimatter emerged in the palm of his hand. Tengri's smug visage soon appeared within the ephemeral orb.

"Ubel! My greatest rival!" The voice of Tengri boomed, his eyes glinting with a feral thirst. "It has been far too long since we have crossed blades! In the wake of the coming storm, I, Tengri, the Conquering Star, formally challenge you to one final duel! And this is a challenge I think you would be wise to answer, for I hold something far more precious to you than even your beloved siblings!"

With a violent tug, Tengri dragged the scantily clad form of Molly into frame. The Conquering Star grinned madly. "I have taken your woman, Ubel! And I have made her my queen, to rule the coming new world alongside me! Now, what will you do? Shall you fall alongside the chaff, bowing before me to evade the heavenly thunder of my Machine of Unmaking? Or shall you challenge me for the heart of the one you desire most?"

The Conquering Star let out a hearty laugh. "I would suggest making your decision soon, Ubel. Time is not on your side. And be sure to come alone; interference in our fated battle will not be tolerated. Should i sense even but a single speck of life, should I suspect even one trick up your sleeve to bring in your beloved allies... and I shall bring the foundations of heaven down upon your head!"

With a final laugh, Tengri faded from view, leaving the Colossal Despot alone with the heroes in the Realm of the Ninja. "It seems you are pressed for time, Ubel! It sounds like my lord has grown... impatient."

Owlzarus quickly moved over to examine the thread. The antiquarian's beady eyes loomed closer to gaze into the ephemeral, serpentine strand. Within it, he could see the tides of conflict, the drums of war brewing within it. There, he could make out what appeared to be some great demon, facing off with... a saiyan and a draconian warrior?

"Excellent work, Boore!" Owlzarus said with a nod to the Quatheral ghost. "Now, gather around, and I shall transport us into this strand of time..."

[Border]"GREETINGS MR. DESPOT. IT'S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU."[/Border]

Evoex stated simply. Even though he lost the feeling to touch, he still felt a wind of uneasiness coming from this new being. Like a spark of lightning, part of his body jolted and bended when the new being pulled out an orb. Evoex's left arm folded in on itself, before blowing itself back into place like a balloon. A familiar face soon appeared on the orb, and one that Evoex very much disliked.

[Border]"TENGRI?."[/Border]

As Tengri continued his speech to the group, Fiotto took a few steps closer to the orb. He leaned in ever so slightly to try and get a better look. He noticed that strangely, Tengri had a bright pink something in the background. More importantly, was that there was something else in the background. Something that moved closer, and one that Tengri didn't seem to notice.

Wait... It couldn't be.. It was..

.......................................

Misfit crawled into a nearby ventilation shaft. Everything here was depressing! Boring boring boring. So very dull. Would it kill this guy to at least have SOME decorations? Luckily, she was here to do just that. She reached into her belly, and pulled out a cream can and began to spray it throughout the shaft. She only stopped once she heard the annoyed yell of a certain individual. She giggled to herself as she recognized who probably was the voice. She made herself invisible, and sped out of the tight ventilation shaft.

She quickly floated back towards the room where she left her first marks on the ship. Though, it seemed like this conquerer had already gotten over her improvements. Dang it! She wanted to hear his rage up close. Oh well, not like she couldn't prank him more later. It looked like he was on some sort of call with... She narrowed her eyes. She couldn't really get a good look at anyone. Nevertheless, she made her face visible, getting ready to do her next prank. She made her three fingered hand visible as well, and floated down lower, just behind Tengri's head. She lifted her hand up, and raised up two fingers right behind Tengri's head, making him look like he had bunny ears.

Mitsif giggled to herself in her mind, not wanting to blow her cover. After around 15 seconds, she had to quickly back away from Tengri as he suddenly pulled in another person! Shocked, she nearly fumbled and made herself completely visible. Luckily, she caught herself and went invisible again before he had a chance to look back. Thank goodness! She still had some stuff to vandalize! Or take. Or whatever.

The Quatheral trickster looked over at the near naked form of Molly. She didn't really take notice of her to be honest. She was just focused on Tengri. But now this Tengri had made a mistake. He had clear indication of wanting to keep this Molly. Well then, it would be a shame if she just vanished! Though, she had to get a right time to take her away from Tengri. Plus, Mitsif didn't personally like the idea of somebody owning someone else. That just seemed... evil.

Without a sound, Mitsif floated back to the ground, and walked up behind Molly. Even though she planned on taking her away from Tengri, that didn't mean she was safe from her trickery! She quickly tapped onto Molly right shoulder, knowing that she wouldn't even see Mitsif.
....................................................................

After the call was over, Fiotto gripped the sides of his head.

"O-Ohh nooo.. Please tell me that wasn't Misfit I saw.. ANYTHING BUT MISFIT!"

[Border]"ERRM.. THIS IS PECULIAR. I ALSO BELEIVE I THINK I MAY HAVE SAW MITSIF IN THAT. I COULD BE SEEING THINGS. HARD TO TELL FOR ME."[/Border]

"If that's the case, why is she there with Tengri of all people!?"

Xpveinees just sighed in pain as she leaned against the pillar. She reached deep into her wound, and began to pull out some of the crystals that were lodged in there. She used her other hand to slam against the ground in pain, kicking her legs out as well. "G-Gghh...hhhhRRRAAAAAAGH!!" She pulled out a large crystal, coated in her own blood. She slammed her fist down again, causing the ground to crack from her impact.

"You should take it easy, Xpveinees. Don't want your hand to break as well. That would only make you angered further.

"CAN IT! I d-don't wanna hear it!" Xpveinees said, wiping a tear from her eye using the back of her arm. "I-I just need medical assistance! Not your sass!"

O'nugulao hissed. They were about to retort, but realized that it would just be fruitless. "Cider will be coming soon. I'm sure of it.

"I... I hope so.. Soon would be NIIICE!!" She yelled out her last word, plucking a small piece of crystal that was piecing through one of her organs. She huffed and puffed, closing her eye and just trying to relax and calm herself down for once. Normally she would be screaming at the top of her lungs, but even she knew that wouldn't get her anywhere. Not this time at least. She was a far way from home, and didn't have the ability to heal as quickly as she did back on Quatheral. In her defense though, she thought her armor would at least take a few hits, not be pierced through!

Cider soon came back running, holding a bandage in one of her hands. "Phew! Quite a run. Was able to get this off of a being. Sorry about the smell, mate."

"I-I don't care! J-just get it ooonnnn!!"

Cider and O'nugulao began to quickly wrap up Xpveinee's wound to stop it from bleeding. After applying several layers, it was finally thick enough for the blood to stop seeping through. Xpveinees just continued to lay there however, feeling too weak to stand up just yet.

"Thanks.." Xpveinees stated with a tired voice.

Cider's ears folded against her head. She hasn't seen Xpveinees in such a low place before. Usually she's so high and mighty. But now she just seemed so depressed. It kinda hurt Cider to see Xpveinees like this. She brushed aside her ears, and made them stand straight up. She hopped on over next to Xpveinees and sat down next to her. "How ya holding up champ?"

"Nnnot.. Particularly well. But ya'know. still alive."

"Well, that's good to hear. Speaking of hearing, I heard you did well in your fight! Better than me at least."

"Not really... I was gonna die... I really think I was."

"Well, yes. You nearly bleed out right in front of me. It would've been a pity to have to return back to Quatheral to repair you. But yes, I am proud of you. Good job, Xpveinees."

"H-Heh.. T-Thaaanks.. I can't wait to tell Mommy how well I did!" Xpveinees giggled, bringing up her hands to the side of her face.

"Yeah yeah, keep working out like that, and you'll def beat up those Yakuza with ease!"

"Yes. We should get going. I assume Tengri well be more pleased with us if we do more work for him. So let's do our best to get on his better side."

Boore cheered out loud and pumped his fist into the air. "YES! I'm so smart!! C'mon Booled! We gotta go save Jakey quickly!"

Booled said nothing, and just floated on over to where the two where. He rubbed his mask. "This is going to be a suicide mission. I'm doubtful that we'll even be able to do anything before we're disintegrated in this place.

Boore giggled, placing his no fingered hand up to the mouth of his mask. "Silly Booled! We'll be fiiiine!!"

As the great Owlzarus began to transport them, Boore felt a terrible ache in his head. Wait. Pain? He hadn't felt that in a... while? Right? His head felt fuzzy. He felt like he was sinking through the floor! Was this part of the transport? Because it didn't feel like it. Boore's vision began to blur. The dull pain head soon magnified, as the various colors continued to blur to the point everything was unrecognizable. Boore groaned and pressed his hands against his head. Even his whiskers drooped down.

When he raised his head, he found himself staring back into the face of a young human woman. At least, from what he could tell. His vision was still blurry. Where even was he?

"Hellloooo? Can you hear me lil' guy?"

Boore floated there stationary, unable to move due to the acheing pain in his head. He just continued to stare at the girl in front of him.

"I-I u-uhhm.. looking for a necromancy book? Do you know wh-where to find it?" The girl asked in a genuine tone. Boore could now start to make out the details of the girl and the area behind here. He was back in the libary it seemed. He still couldn't move however. He couldn't speak either, so instead he decided to focus more on the girl.

She was very small. Barley over 4 feet in height. Shiny purple eyes, with large rounded glasses that barley fit her face. From what he could see, her skin was smooth, and was wearing some sort of witches hat. She was also wearing some kind of magic garb. He couldn't quite tell what it was. The girl reached over and tapped on Boore's mask with her pointer finger.

"Are you okay?" The mysterioys woman asked. She tilted her head and bit her lip. "M-Maybe these are for decoration?"

"Hhh-Hhhuh??"

That was all Boore had time to say before the pain returned tenfold, but before he knew it, he was back with Owlzarus and Booled. Everything was back to normal. Or is it? What even was normal anymore? He didn't even have the time to ask a question before Owlzarus already transported them to where they needed to go...

Ishome Memories:
Spoiler:

I found myself waking back up from this tortured life again. Can I even call it life at this point? Is it life just to die over and over and over again? It’s more about dying isn't it? Dying is natural. Natural to coming back to life again. Dying brings pleasure. Each time I die however, that sweet fucking pain of relief gets shorter. It’s only a second full of pure bliss. I wouldn’t feel anything. I don’t want to feel anything more. Please fucking Quatheral just let me die forever the next time. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

Bad Man with crooked smile grins at me. Never seen him frown. Never frowns. Never stopping. Bad Man likes me this way. Bad Man never lets me go. Bad Man brought me here. I don’t know when. Subject 02 doesn’t know how he got here. Just tired. Each time Subject 02 wakes up, I see my reflection on Bad Man’s walls. But it’s not real reflection. It’s just my face. Subject 02’s face stapled on the walls. I think I see more each time I wake up. Everything just blends together now. I’m so used to waking up. Just want to rest. No rest for I… Is… No know name. Used to Subject 02. Better name anyway. Know my place.

Hands hurt. Hands? No. Normally no hands. Have tubes. Six eyes. Roots. Yes. Yes that’s me. Bad Man’s walls is me. Bad Man’s food is me. Bad Man’s property is me. Subject 02 is his. Always will. Always have. Sometimes though I do have dreams. White bird. Rainbow colors. That makes Subject 02 happy. I’m never happy while alive. Just want rest. Just want rest want rest want rest. Six eyes slowly blink at Bad Man. Feel his red glow at me. Just want to die. I await Bad Man’s command. His word is law. His word is life. Most important: His words mean pain, which lead to death. Death brings pleasure. Want to die.

Only 10 seconds passed, but feels like forever. Want to die. Want to die. Right. Felt fingers. Not my own. Not… Metal. Metal. Added on. Test! Need to do tests for Bad Man! If they do them fast! Quicker to die! Quicker to feel pleasure! Death is pleasure! Death is pleasure! I wiggle my new metal fingers. Scrape against skin. Oooh. pain. Pain means death! Death means pleasure! Want to plunge new fingers inside Subject 02. Never that easy. Never too easy. Bad Man likes to watch me suffer like pet. But Subject 02 is pet. Only fair.

12 seconds pass. Bad Man tells me of new task. Get to walk. Walk hurts. Recently made Subject 02 feast on his own body. Tasted good. Ate own roots. Taste like fermented blood. Easy to break through it. Old sweater was my skin legs. So weak. So easy to leak. So easy to bite. Mouth having was really weird. Tube arms only liquids, no need to bite. But bite feel good. Good to rely on instincts. Instincts tell me to die. Too much pain. So much pain. Want to die. Dying brings pleasure.

New task is simpler than others. Self mutilation. Subject 02 gets antsy. Bad Man tells me he wants to see how far I will be willing to go. I look at all other Subject 02 faces plastered against the wall. Thinned out to make some sort of twisted wallpaper. Subject 02 wants to count them all. Then no longer needs to. Too many. Head hurts. Head hurts if I think too much. Thinking hurts. Think. Dying. Pleasurable. Yes! Dying dying dying dying dying! Mad Bad… Bad Man raised me! Life always. Always death! There's no life. Only circles of death! Dying dying dying!

My roots get anxious. Move separately almost. They grind against the metal I lay on. Need more of that! Starts to scrape against the metal with new fingers. Nice. So sweet. Easy task. To kill self. Best task! Why can’t this be all the time? But Bad Man always has trick. What is it? Can’t think again. Shock in head stops me from thinking too much… Dying is good. Dying is pleasure. That mantra. Sweet mantra. Beloved mantra. I begin to grind my body against the metal, eager to get started. Bad Man laughs at my attempts. He has control. Always will. Task: Self Mutilation. Best Task. Need more. Head full of dopamine. Will get through pain if means death.

Bad Man floats away, few seconds until sweet relief. Latches around body and arms come undone. My body falls to the ground face first. Don’t care. Dull to pain. Push my new fingers against the ground. Creates pleasure sound. Want to feel them glide across Subject 02’s bones. Forgot name? Where did that come from? No have name. Just Subject 02. Stop wasting time and do task! Do task! Do tests! Remember… First memories? Yes! Born here! Born here born here! Die Die Die!! Raise new hands up to body and plunge in deep. Subject 02’s blood spills out like a overfilled drink! Green blood dribbles onto ground like paint. Dig around my insides more. Feel bone. Tap tap tap. Feel it. Weird to feel. But done worse to self. Ate self. Beat self. Consumed self.

Pull hand out wound and rip it open further. Skin tears like paper. Yummy treaty paper. Special food from Bad Man when good. Always want to be good. Made small paper selves. Tried to escape with them. Non! Nonono! No go well at all! Didn’t go far! Tried to leave Bad Man! Big mistake! No one leaves Bad Man without his permission. Found me hiding in his console room! Noooo chance for running! Especially when Subject 02 has no running legs! Only roots. Torture forever. Don’t know how long. Never again. Always obey Bad Man. Bad Man knows everything to do. Bad Man puts me in place. Dying is pleasure. NEEED PLEASURE!

Lift my new weighty hands again and attempt to strike my own head. Can’t. Why? Why can’t deal blow. So close to release but so far. Want to feel blood rush out of me like soda drink. Mmm.. Could feel the paper inside again. No? What? Head fuzzy. No striking the head says Bad Man. At least not yet? Why? Want too. Body is heating up just thinking about my demise. Worth it for Bad Man. He gets information while I die. It’s good trade. Dying is pleasure. Oh well. Not yet means later. Later will mean death!

I plunge my knife hands into my body again, slowly going in and out. Yesss.. Feel the organs tickle and split. Tremendous pain shoots up body and head. Good! Good! I attempt to grab hold of one of my organs, trying to pull it out like meat in a can. Only had one of those once. Disgusting. Rainbow colored. Too much slime. Blue eyeball. Nasty! No good! Wait. Eye. Eye. IIII… Iss…. Home. home is here. How? How How How How How How? Name? No names here. Only Subjects? Only need tests to die. Dying… Dying.. Yes..

Mmmmpppfffhhh… Euggh.. Yess… Finally a good hold. Shredded parts of it. But still clung together. Like a mutilated worm, crawls out. Lands on floor with splat. Feeling a little empty. More of blood washes out like waterfall. Subject 02 starts to chuckle. Chuckle turns to laugh. Big laugh! Rest my face against floor. Floor is inviting. Place for me to writhe and struggle as Bad Man puts me in place. Good to obey now. Why resist? Resist just brings zero death. No fun at all! Still laughing. Still laughing. And… there… falling silent. I raise myself back up again. Look down at mutilated body. Two separate wounds. Very large! That is good. Use both hands to rip open wound larger.

Another organ yanket out. Tubes. Lots of tubes fell out. Yes! Ingest tubes! Used to have those when Subject 02 made things for Bad Man. Root legs would touch things, make thing for bad man out of arm tubes! So exhausting. No longer do that! Speaking of roots. My excitement build up as I stare down my next potential target. Six white empty eyes stare down the blood covered roots. Could make more blood and play with it. But no one wants to play anymore. I don’t want to play. Playing is for grown up like Bad Man. Subject 02 is tool. Nothing more. Just want pleasure.

Can’t wait no more. Slam my new fingers against my roots, trying to chop at the base. It’s hard. Too hard. Pain is building. Always hate this part of pain. To point where I can’t move. But lust is building. My body craves to please Bad Man. Need to obey. Remember Subject 02: Dying brings pleasure! Yes! Yes I will Mr. Man! No longer think of Aphrodi… Who that? Oh! Right! Just flesh! Everything to Bad Man is just moving flesh. Likes it when that flesh stops moving. Stops breathing.

I see his way now! Everything just a pulsing meat sack. Strings just living meat puppets with no purpose. Try to excuse their meaningless lives with nothing to do. So they make believe in their fantasy worlds. Yes… It’s the truth. They wish to enjoy things, but they just wither way anyway. They only die once. Such a pain. But Bad Man has big plan. Really Really big plans! Much suited for the walking flesh! Ahahahaaaa.. What if they die more than once? Loop? Looping! Like Subject 02! Bad Man no different. He’s been acting very strange lately!

You know. I hear him sometimes. He talks to himself. You think he’s alone, or talking to something else? He’s started to hurt himself too. Attacking himself? Don’t know why? Me too! Subject 02 and Me are best of friends! We go through all this pain, and together we will join in death! We’re best of friends. He’s the only one that stuck through. A shiver up my spine tells me that we’ve hit another orgasmic bliss.

I look down at the floor and giggle. So much green blood. It’s spread all around. I press my new hand down in it, hearing it slosh around with bits of my flesh swimming. It’s already spread halfway across the room. Soooo much blood that I feel lightheaded. I can’t even feel my lower half anymore. Wait, wasn’t I doing something with my lower half before? Ah yes!

I look down and noticed what were becoming of my lower legs. Subject 02 was busy slicing them off. Ah! That explains why there was so much blood coming out. It was rushing out like a garden hose! Used to have three large roots. Now only have one. Busy chopping last one up. Specimen 02 cutting it up into nice little sliver. Would look nice to serve at restaurant. Mmm… p-paaaper… Death! Death death.. But.. No dead yet.. I can feel my body having little blood. Angirly, I tear at my body another time. Again. And again. I keep swiping at my body until it’s wide open. You can see my rib cage clear as day. Some organs are locked behind. But that won’t do. Perhaps need to be more empty to die.

I just want to die…

Please Mom..

I raise both my hands to my weeping chest. I grabbed hold of each rib cage. Tightly. Tighter. And I begin to push. I push. And push. I can feel my weak skin on the outside start to slide around as my rib cage moves. It’s like feeling a bug crawl through your veins under your skin. It’s kind of ticklish. So Subject 02 begins to laugh. We continue to laugh before we hear a loud snap. It was our right side of the ribs. It had completely broken off like a door without its hinges. We raise it up and toss it to the side. Should be dead, but still living. No! No no no no! Stay dead! Dead is peace!

We rip out the other side with ease, and watch as the rest of our organs pile out onto the floor like a wet blanket. I press my face up against it, getting a better look at it. My own organ juices coat my vision. I feel it soak up into my six eyes. I don’t even blink. I don’t even think I intended to do that. I think my body at this point is caving in on itself. I lift myself up again. I’m so hollow. Chest is empty. Body is empty. Legs empty. How am I even moving at this point?

My head is filling up with useless questions honestly. I want to tear into my face so bad.. The pain.. Oh god the pain.. What am I doing to myself? How did I let it get so bad? Why can’t I bring the will to resist anymore. Help. Help… Help.. But like that, those thoughts fade away. Another rush of dopamine fills my body. God it feels sooo goooood and painful!! Sooo close to release.

It’s then I hear the sound of Bad Man through the intercom of the room. Bad Man tells me that I’ve probably already figured out what this test is. Not really. I’m too busy reveling in the fact I’m about to die. Or that I did such a good job hurting myself. Oh god… yes!! Feels so nice! So empty like the flesh bag I am! Just nothing! Yes ss YesSS!!

It’s then Subject 02 is told is that he is not allowed to die yet. Because that is the test! To see how long we could last with pure determination to kill ourself. Bad Man injected us with new potion. Something. Something makes us last longer. Like a corpse! Yes! Make sense now! Bad Man is so smart! Praise him!! PRAISE!! PRAISE. PRAISE. Ohhh yes yes yes sir! Such brilliance!!

We aren’t dead yet. I want to be. Subject 02 wants it as well. We both need this sweet release from life. Why did he want us to stay alive? Something upcoming! Oh! That’s right! Suffering! All of fleshbags are to suffer.

Good little Subject 02! Such the smarts on you! Now if only if you could eat…. I think I’m just rambling at this point. We just want death! And so, for the first time this test I spoke… It hurt to move my little pathetic vocal chords, but I did.

“M-Massterrr.. When.. When Dead? D-Deeeaaadddhhg!!”

I chocked out. Hadn’t used words in long time. Begging was good. Begging sometimes meant I could get sweet release. I could feel his presence. Even through the walls. I humped the ground in excitement. Ohh, I think I know what’s coming. It’s almost time isn’t it? Ohhh please please please please!! I punch through my weak fucking chest, the metal coated in my green blood! I don’t feel a thing. I think I may have overloaded my pain receptors. At least I hope so.

I continue to laugh. Feels good to not care anymore. Just laying in a pool of my own filth. Gooooood… Despite not hearing a response, I giggle again. I looked over at my left arm, and raise my right claw towards it. Without even thinking, I start to dig into my own arm. Shredding it! Bits of flesh falling off like snow and rain. I’m surprised that there is still some blood coming out. Oh well.

One two! A bit more! One two! Even further now! One two! Half way there! I stop only when I reached the bone. My left arm dangles uselessly at my side now. It’s actually sort of fun to tear Subject 02 apart. It’s like ripping apart a doll. It’s.. symbolic isn’t it? I’m just a doll for Bad Man. Always was. It’s… So…

Just then, I hear Bad Man’s call. He gives me the order I’ve been waiting for. To end my life.

Finally… Everything can be over and I can be in true bliss. I look over at the low table that I was on only 20 minutes before. I begin to crawl towards it, a brutal plan in my mind. Go for the eyes! God for the eyes. It’s a struggle to even get there, but manage. Body so weak now. Miracle I’m moving. Thank. Thank it all. I can finally rest. Sweet… Release coming!

I finally reach the blasted table, my right arm holding down next to it. I lower my face next to it and keep mow left lower eye open. I need to angle this juuuusst right.. With my eyes peeled, I manage to put the sharp corner of the table just in between my eye and the eye socket. With baited breath, I then shove myself forward.

YES! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!

I hear a crunch, feeling my skull starting to crack. Don’t care. Need to keep moving forward.. Pushing forward, the corner of the table continuing to move further and further into his skull until…

He felt it touch his brain.

With one final push, Subject 02 to was finally dead… Sweet release...

I'm so sorry Mom...

Evron, through gritted teeth and shining eyes, flared his power in a raging shroud of red towards the mocking face of Chang'e. But before he could go any further, he was stopped as Dante grabbed his shoulders.

"Evron, wait! Let's just take it easy, yeah?" Dante tried to coax whilst glaring at the looming woman. He turned Evron away from her prying eyes, before letting go and moving to lean against the nearest little wall. "We shouldn't give her what she wants by falling into her trap; that won't free us from this any faster."

With a begrudging sigh, Evron yielded, though that didn't stop him from leering seething daggers towards the newly escaped Dea. "Well, if you're dumbass friend hadn't gotten in the way, we would've been out of this shit by now. Where the hell did you even find that runt, anyway?"

"Like I said, we met back on Earth, back when she was working with Sutekh. Plus, she's the one who found me, not the other way around."

Dante scanned the destruction that had been wrought off in the distance. What was once a proud fleet, had promptly been eradicated. A full-scale armada, swatted like nothing. Then, his eyes curiously studied Persephone, but he looked beyond her outward appearance. Using his Soul Search ability, Dante was able to sneak a glance into the depths of her inner self. However, the very second that he did, he was swiftly kicked out, causing for him to visibly recoil. He looked at Persephone and saw that she wasn't facing him, so did she sense his presence and snuff him out? No, at least, he didn't believe so. The Ninja Prime sensed something else, something far more sinister. For the brief moment that he had managed to peer inside, he saw... A force, a power beyond that of Persephone, and one that she seemingly had no say nor dominion over. Such was all too familiar, the only difference this time was that Dante made peace with his demons, but could this child do the same? He felt a brief chill crawl down his neck. This was shaping up to be a bigger problem than he’d expected.

Evron sneered, he'd grown tired from the incessant staring of the outside parties. "UGH, it feels like we're in a goddamn fishbowl! Screw this, I'm closing the shades!" He shouted

Curling his pointer and middle fingers upwards, Evron promptly brought forth a curtain of reddened energy that rose from the ground, and shrouded the entire inside of the barrier. Once finished, the sphere now had the appearance of a red star, with the ninja duo were hidden within and free from any prying eyes.

“There, now we can actually talk normally without those idiots gawking at us.” Evron said, proud of his work. He looked over to Dante, and found the latter deep in thought. “Yo, what’s up?”

Dante did a little shake of his head, “It’s Persephone...” He cryptically replied.

“Yeah, what about her? You’re not actually worried about her of all people, are you?” Evron scoffed. “She’s a little brat on a power trip, that’s all. Her little display back there was a bunch of nothing; she won’t be a problem once we can actually get out of here. Especially since like, you apparently just made a fucking black hole budge, like... Holy shit.”

The Ninja Prime locked eyes with Evron, and crossed his arms tight. There was concern all over his face when he said, “Persephone isn’t the one I’m worried about...”

Ubel's heart sunk to his feet when he saw Molly, how she was dressed, the look of despair on her face... And Tengri... How he dared to lay his hands on her. As he listened to the Conquering Star's boastful monologue, Ubel could feel his blood churn to a boil, his hands curling into tightened fists, his teeth clenched. Tengri had just made a grave mistake.

Daeva and Aphrodite exchanged looks of concern, before the former went up to Ubel, cautiously taking him in. "Come on, Ubie, just try to remain calm. Hey, are you hearing me??" Daeva said, waving her hand in his face.

"Daeva, Daeva..." Ubel caught her hand by the wrist and slowly gave it back to her. "I'm perfectly calm, alright, but you waving your hand in my face isn't really helping, either."

"Right, sorry."

The tall ninja proceeded to close his eyes and focused, really trying to listen and see what he was looking for.

"What are you doing?" Aphrodite asked.

"I'm trying to pinpoint where Molly is, exactly. It's faint, but if I'm lucky... There! I've got her!" He opened his eyes, "I'm going."

"Wait, what? You can't just go there by yourself!" Daeva argued.

"It's clearly a trap, your highness." Piccolo, whom had been content with listening this whole time, finally spoke up. "Who knows what other plans Tengri might have once you've played into his hand."

Ubel sighed, "I know, I know, and if there were any other way to do this, then that’s what we’d do instead... But, I have to do this. This isn’t just any girl who we’re talking about...” He paused to look specifically at Piccolo. “It’s Molly. She’s a friend, and a really, really good one. She’s been far too good to me over the years, and I won’t abandon her. Besides, you all heard what Tengri said; if he even so much as senses that there’s someone else with me, then that may as well be blood on my hands from whatever chaos he’ll commit. I can’t take that chance.”

Aphrodite silently nodded in understanding, almost smiling as well. Love was driving him, whether is was the romantic kind, or simply a deep care towards a friend... It was his guide in this, and she wouldn’t stand in the way of that.

Piccolo folded his arms tightly and closed his eyes to sigh. Shaking his head, the Namekian replied, “I still don’t like it... But I trust that you know what you’re doing, your highness.” He regarded Ubel with a nod. “You have my support.”

Ubel appreciatively returned the gesture. Daeva, on the other hand, was still very much skeptical about all this.

“But, you just made a big deal about not rushing into things!” She continued to argue. “There has to be another-”

“Daeva... Peri, look...” Ubel cut her off and stared at her intently.

Za’hok ii’dmaja itomei’Jaha’lik’aH.” He mentally said to her, before doing a little psychic “wink”.

Daeva stood there silently for a few moments, staring into his glowing eyes. But, eventually, she gave a single, subtle nod of understanding. “Fine.” She spoke, as she reached up on her tippy toes to pinch Ubel’s cheek. “Just... Be careful, yeah? Be careful, and go pound blue boy’s face in for me.”

Ubel gave a half smile and nodded, before bending down to give her a proper hug. After which, he shot a glance over to Piccolo, of whom also gave a nod; the kingdom would remain safe in his absence.

Aphrodite smiled as he approached her. “Looks like this time, you and Yzazil weren’t so different after all.” She mused.

Ubel grinned, “I guess not.”

The goddess hugged him lovingly then. “Be safe, Ubel. And, bring Molly back.” She murmured.

“I will. We’ll see you guys soon.”

With that, Ubel quickly moved to create a portal to Tengri’s location, and Molly’s. Yet, before he went through, he turned and stared at the one called, Colossal Despot.

“Are you coming with me, or will you find your own way back?” Ubel inquired. “Either way, you’re not staying here.”

Despite being freed, Dea was clearly more than willing to get into it with Evron, already whirling to face the crass ninja with her middle finger raised, her sword readied for battle.

She was paused by Persephone's question however. She had promised to be honest with her after all. With a sigh- and a final glare at Evron- the superhuman turned her back on the ninjas.

"Sorry, Perse, but... it wasn't," Dea admitted. She brushed some hair, mussed from Evron's shove, from her dark eyes so she could look Persephone in the eyes. "Dante's kids... his students, I mean... did everything but ask me to kill them, but... I couldn't. No... no, that's not right... I wouldn't. They reminded me too much of my baby brother. Sorry I don't have any good news for you. I've had days like that too..."

Fray watched Ubel anxiously, cow-like ears were folded down. If Tengri had a scheme, there was a chance her dark self was involved. The tyrant had made the ninja promise to come alone, but would he have the same honor? He was a vain being, but what if desperation had made him compromise his pride? What if he had her shadow at the ready, planning to set her upon Ubel the moment he arrived? Or worse, what if she waited in the space between worlds, ready to strike out at his rift, changing his destination, sending him someplace even a ninja could not survive? The heart of a dying star or even the void itself. She was, just as she had been, a creature of mischief and malice. She was all but mad to interfere in such ways.

Then again, couldn't she do the same?

"Daeva," Fray rasped, quietly for such a huge creature. Scarlet eyes stared intently at the young Yakuza.

When the ninja heard her friend's voice again, it was not from her hound-like mouth, but inside her own head. Or rather, her ear. Some small part of Fray, perhaps left over from when she had worn her as armor, sat inside her ear canal and whispered, "Girl... Molly... save?"

Raising her hairy hands, Fray used one to mime a pair of humanoid figures- in fact growing tiny, writhing limbs from the raised fingers- and formed a small portal with the other, a ring of golden lightning dancing in its palms. She brought the puppets close to the rift.

"No girl, no fight," Daeva heard again in her ear.

"W- Wait, Persephone?" a low, nasally asked Demmy.

Alex glanced up at the sky, hoping- futilely, he realized- to see another imagine of the girl how had demonstrated such power.

"I... I've heard of someone named Persephone... someone with silver hair, like hers. Back in Marlore. Is that possible? She was who Tenkarus worked for, I think."
