Respect Gezora

Once a normal cuttlefish, Gezora was one of several animals affected by the Space Amoeba known as the Yog, being mutated into a monstrous form that would go on a murderous spree before being felled by fire.

-Knives and harpoons have trouble piercing his skin, a harpoon even bouncing off his tentacle

Extremely Low Body Temperature
-Constantly emits a freezing vapor cloud
--Vapor can blow away logs and plants
-Brief contact with Gezora's tentacle gave a man frostbite

Ink
-Can emit an ink cloud

Weaknesses
-Very weak to fire
-Vulnerability to ultrasonic waves, being repelled by a colony of bats

Rulers of Earth
In the Rulers of Earth series, Gezora is never directly stated to be the result of a Space Amoeba, rather being implied to be an ancient creature that's a part of the Earth's natural order. While this Gezora never demonstrates low body temperature or ink, it can be assumed that he shares these abilities with his Showa counterpart.

-Unhurt by missiles
-Survived being hit by Manda being swung into him by Godzilla, then being hit by Godzilla's Atomic Ray

Shit, that settles it. Gezora can trounce anyone in the FMs. Even Godzilla Earth trembles at his power.

Is there even any kaiju that movie-Gezora could beat in a 1v1? Obviously IDW Gezora could handle a solid number of foes, he’s nothing to scoff at, but can the movie version beat anyone?

Well, I could see him taking on the likes of Oodako and Ookondoru and winning, and he might be able to hold his own against Showa Kamacuras, though I doubt he could win.

Doubt he’d beat Oodako. The Giant Octopus grappled with Kong, Frankenstein and Gaira and didn’t die any one time.
