Round 7 has concluded, and to the victors go the spoils. FatBacon, you earn 150 points for your victory over Hillyhulk. GvR, for handling both Gmkgoji's team and the combined flares team at the same time, you earn 350 points. And for Breakdown and MoarCrossovers, withstanding the terror of Bagan and defeating the boss with your combined efforts nets both of you 600 points.

Unfortunately, as there are winners, so to are there those who falter. Gmkgoji and Hillyhulk, both of you performed admirably this tournament. You both managed to amass giant kaiju armies with many victories beneath you. It's just that luck, and rng, was not in your favor, and so both of you are eliminated with three losses each and your teams dismantled and returned back to the pool of available monsters.

And so, we near the end of the tournament. Only four teams remain. Here in the quarterfinals, a few rules will be altered:

1. Mystery Boxes and Flares that summon boss teams will no longer allow for both players to team up against them. They will be treated as a third party. To counterbalance this, no tier 4 bosses will be in the rng pool for Mystery Boxes and Flares.

2. Boss Fights are no longer allowed to be purchased from the store. The semi-finals will have the final two players go up against one final boss round, but that is it. More details on it next week.

3. Regardless of how few losses you have, losing here means you are automatically eliminated.

4. The shop is now in a permanent discount for most of its item selections. A few items will not be on discount, and as stated before, boss fights are now no longer in stock.

To commemorate the final four, each of you are allowed access to either an additional two tier 1 kaijus, or a *'d tier 1 or a kaiju on the powerhouse list to add to your team.

Lastly, a mysterious benefactor has sent each of you a box with unknown contents within. Please state wherever you wish to accept the contents of your gift boxes or not...

You can take either one, but the Make My Monster Grow will not work on Rose Biollante as you already will have final form Biollante on your team.
