Overrated. He looked cool but just kinda ran around and got executed.

Had it not been for the over-exaggerated this would be the one redesign of this show I'd be truly satisfied with.

One of my favorite monsters in the series. I was cautious at first of his redesign when I saw it in the teaser trailer, but after seeing it in full and watching the show I truly love this interpretation of the character. My only gripe is that he's killed off; I was hoping to see more of him, especially when Godzilla's up and around.

Love SP Anguirus.

He was a good boy who was just curious about the world, he didn't need to be impaled in the face like that :( Also, his limited ability to "see" into the future was really cool.

Honestly my second favorite version of the character, right up there with the Showa version. I'll admit they could've toned down the spikes, but I love the playful personality they gave him AND the fact they gave him unique powers without making him shoot a beam out of his mouth.

My favorite Anguirus of them all. I just wished we saw more of him throughout the show.

Great redesign and unique powers, probably the best SP monster and definitely my favorite Anguirus.

Like most of my feelings on the monsters for this show, it's very mixed. Anguirus's ability to see into the future was a drastic alteration I didn't understand and seemed to be one of the biggest asspull abilities I've ever seen and it did not fit the character. I did love the design and the fact that the monster was seen as "playful" and even curious. However, relegating the monster to a minor entity and one full episode of use was tragic. He was among the more interesting monsters in the series.

A great character, but a wasted one.
