That's a shame, I love the dynamic they have going on and the contrast it provides with Mizuno and Fujichiyo's relationship. Okamoto isn't terribly engaging on his own, but the first half benefits from their interactions together. I do think Kyoko had some unfulfilled potential, she's the one who comes up with interviewing Mizuno but ultimately doesn't take part in it.
