A fight to the finish between two of Disney's scariest, meanest dragons--even if one is more Paramount than Disney but that doesn't matter.

Rules: Sizes are unchanged.

Battleground: The outskirts of Aurora's castle.

Verdict: Vermithrax has this in the bag due to sheer durability. Both dragons underwent being stabbed by magically-enchanted weapons, but both of them had very different outcomes; Maleficent got an enchanted sword embedded in her chest and died from it, while Vermithrax got stabbed multiple times from an enchanted lance and thrashed so hard it broke, before going right back on the attack in short order. Maleficent is gonna be really hard pressed to pierce a meaningful wound into Vermithrax's scales before the wyvern just starts making her hate life.

[Breakdown]

Durability is hard to gauge when literal magic hax are involved. Sure both were killed by magical weapons with different outcomes, but neither dragon's breath weapons are magical in nature except for maybe Maleficent's given the stereotypical evil green color. For that reason, I'm leaning Maleficent under the assumption that she has actual magical weaponry.
