Godzilla (MV) vs Site Omega

Post by Nagoda »

When SCALE invaded Site OMEGA with the hopes of releasing all the captured mutations to bring about a new era, they unknowingly brought the attention of something far worse than the Godzilla the world was used too. A Bringer of Balance has awoken to put the unruly Titans to rest.

Godzilla (MV) vs King Cobra, C-Rex, Giant Bat, and Skeetera

Arena: Site Omega (Monster Island)

Rules: Scaled to Heisei Standards.
2014 Godzilla as further incarnations would stomp hard.

Verdict: This is a hard one, but I would probably say team mutations could pull through if they play to their strengths. With this being 2014, his beam might rarely come into play unless he is pushed that far. King Cobra or C-Rex could possibly blind him if they fire their respective sticky substances onto his face, but they also run the risk of having an angry blind Godzilla charging at them, which is perfectly good with King Cobra to then coil him up. The Giant Bat could run well as interference with its Sonic screeches, but it is also very fragile and a well aimed tail swipe would probably take him out. If Skeetera can feed on Godzilla, that would lead to her being able to harness his atomic breath in her fireballs, but she would need to wait for him to get trapped or risk being torn to shreds of she gets caught. C-Rex I feel has a good chance here with his tentacles as he was able to briefly overpower GTAS Godzilla, but with how armored and bitey 2014 is, it might just lose those tentacles of his. And if the atomic breath does come to play, C-Rex is going to be fried. As for King Cobra, he’s got the best chance here. If he can constrict around Zilla’s spines, he’ll be fine doing the same with 2014’s own. Sure he lost the moment GTAS Godzilla got him in his mouth, but he was also dominating the fight when he was fighting blinded opponents. He also survived being struck head on by Zilla’s atomic breath, so the fiery atomic breath of 2014 might not do as much damage to him. And with King Cobra coiling up Godzilla, that leaves him open to the others to get their stuff done, like blood sucking.
A reminder to watch Chouseishin Gransazers.

Giant Bat’s probably getting tail-whipped, same with Skeetera. Either that or he’ll be able to snap them up in his jaws and swing them around, and unlike the Male MUTO, that will shred them. C-Rex is strong enough to throw King Cobra around and kick Zilla Junior into the sea floor, but his durability won’t hold up to Godzilla crashing against and mauling him, the tentacles would just get snapped by teeth or claws, and the tar-shot isn’t doing anything unless it hits the eyes or gills, and the tar-shot hitting something that high up is unlikely. Same with King Cobra, he’s not fighting something he’ll be eye to eye with, Godzilla is upright and should still be towering above them even with the scaling, which means for the venom to hit gills or eyes King Cobra would have to get up close and up near Godzilla’s face, which leaves him open to getting torn into. Constriction probably won’t do a lot to Godzilla unless it pins an arm, given how Zilla was able to survive it without much issue, Robo-Yeti only got torn asunder by constriction because he had already been through a long fight with Zilla and constricted to the point of shutting down during their first encounter.

All four working together should do well, but unlike the MUTOs who are designed to work together flawlessly, these four would mostly just be fighting him individually together. As in, no real team coordination most likely, and by the time they did start coordinating out of necessity, they’d have lost members already and be wounded. If King Cobra gets slammed to the ground and stomped before the team starts really working together, they stand no chance. King Cobra with solid backup is their only real shot.

I also feel like Skeetera could end up harming her team more than helping, because while her fireballs with Godzilla’s energy would hurt him, they’d also fuel him, and he might end up benefiting more than hurting if she shoots him enough with them.
