The Preadtor made more than Preadtors as the box office. Honestly as cool as it it, Predator could do well as a smaller exclusive type movie. Wish Terminator would do the same.

Re: The Alien and Predator Discussion Thread (1979-2018)
I’m gonna put my opinions on Aliens Bloodline art style, and I got to say I don’t really like it, It’s a shame though I really expect something good from Marvel since they did some comics with great art style, but here Will you see so much of tracing and it’s terrible, it’s like the artist not even trying to hide it. Dark Horse has done a lot of Aliens comic series without tracing and most of them looks great. Take comics like Aliens Labyrinth, there is one scene of when dr. church was taken to the hive and we get this horrifying Page showing off what The hive looks like.
another example is Aliens dead orbit where yet again we see some kind of hive forming in the Space station
what we get from bloodline is this abomination A trace job, I feel like I’m beating a dead horse here, but The art style is basically half the experience in a comic book, without them you’re just reading A wall of text. it’s just Sad that Marvel will hire a person like this to their new IP like they don’t care about the fanbases. I really do hope that they clean up their act and show us wrong that they do care but from the looks of it it’s not gonna be a while.

I really wanted to believe Marvel would do the Alien series justice but their work so far really doesn't indicated that to be the case.

I really do hope that they do a 180 and give us some really good comics but it’s just depressing that it’s not gonna happen because they don’t seem to listen to criticism, if they were to listen to criticism people like Greg land should’ve been fired right nowcloverfan98 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:32 pm I really wanted to believe Marvel would do the Alien series justice but their work so far really doesn't indicated that to be the case.

Unfortunately I believe that Disney doesn't care about Alien or Marvel (the comic publishing division). They most likely wanted Fox for three reasons. 1. They had sole rights to the original 1977 star wars film. 2. They had the rights to The Fantastic Four and The X-Men. 3. Finally they were interested in obtaining another competitor and furthering their Monopoly. Obtaining Alien was just a fortunate bonus and not something they had any special interest in.Thatguy4683 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:58 pmI really do hope that they do a 180 and give us some really good comics but it’s just depressing that it’s not gonna happen because they don’t seem to listen to criticism, if they were to listen to criticism people like Greg land should’ve been fired right nowcloverfan98 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:32 pm I really wanted to believe Marvel would do the Alien series justice but their work so far really doesn't indicated that to be the case.

Anyone gonna pick up the novelization of Gibson's original screenplay for Alien 3 when it releases in August?

The new Predator movie is called Skull and apparently takes place in frontier America, the producers likening it to The Revenant. Though that's just an assumption on my part.

I'm not sold on the title being just "Skull". I think Predator should be in the title. Predator: Skull(s) is better to me.

As much as i like Predator and do like the director, it's going to take one hell of a trailer to pull me back so soon after The Predator.Tyrant_Lizard_King wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 3:46 pm The new Predator movie is called Skull and apparently takes place in frontier America, the producers likening it to The Revenant. Being similar in tone to The Revenant is encouraging to hear.

Ya know lately I've been trying to formulate a Predatory story set in a zombie post apocalyptic setting. Two of my favorite post apoc zombie stories are The Walking Dead and Days Gone. Does anyone think that would be a cool idea?

Anywho, check out this article regarding an abandoned ALIENS:COLONIAL MARINES video game, and the trailer for the PS2 game.
