Norman England’s book Behind the Kaiju Curtain: A Journey Onto Japan’s Biggest Film Sets will be released this Monday, November 22 by Awai Books!

With a foreword by director Shusuke Kaneko, this 250-page book chronicles England’s on-set observations during the productions of Gamera 3, Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, and GMK.

Toho Kingdom’s lead editor Patrick Galvan assisted England with editing the book and he posted a blog about it on the main site this past Friday: https://www.tohokingdom.com/blog/new-bo ... film-sets/

Ed Godziszewski interviewed England for the Kaiju Masterclass II online event earlier this month:

Will be picking this up sometime this winter for sure. Excited to read it, we need more books like this in English.

What a string of pictures to witness! Norman is a cool dude with awesome insight to the process. Very much looking forward to snagging a copy of this one.
