Not necessarily Toho, but I did finally get a copy of Godzilla: Aftershock. Pretty solid book. Much better than Awakening, but still nothing amazing. The Jinshin-Mushi was cool, gave the Mutos a little more to go off on.

Just bought a product I didn't even know existed! Saw the Godzilla / Ghidorah 1964 coffee mug at Books-A-Million and grabbed it. Drinking tea out of it as we speak.

Would love to collect those but I don't have any real way of buying them outside of taking risks on eBay which, no thanks.

I got them from a seller with 100% feedback who's sold a lot of these. He shipped DHL and I got them in 3 days. I can PM you his info if you wish

Nah, I'm alright. I'll see if I can snag a few at the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Chicago or at G-FEST next year.

Won this neat promo for Yog (using an earlier title), taken from AIP's "Preview Seventy-One" brochure.

Just scored the other three Godzilla vs. Megalon cinemas shares 1976 theater giveaway buttons in one lot (Megalon, Gigan & Jet Jaguar). I had the Godzilla one so set is now complete. Great find I never expected.

Yeah, also there was a 2 page almost newspaper like comic book loosely based on the movie plot also given out at the time. I re-aquired that one about 20 yrs ago. I remember being a little kid getting the free swag in the theater for the movie.

Got a few more Godzilla store books. These are the last I'm going to get. Favorite photo so far is Nakajima smoking a cigarette through a hole in the Godzilla suit neck

“All this intravenous stuff’s no good for you...”

That pic is from 1955 right? IIRC, it’s even funnier when you realize it’s Katsumi Tezuka (Anguirus) holding it for him.

Nice! A bit of criticism though since I have 12 of them now. The older monsters have more behind the scenes photos than the newer monsters. The Rodan and Varan ones kick ass. The Heisei ones are disappointing and have a lot of stills from the movies. For instance I counted 23 behind the scenes photos for Rodan 1956 and 13 for Space Godzilla. Godzilla 1984 also has about 12. So stick with Showa

I don't know why, but seeing Oodako/Giant Octopus have it's own book makes me happy and think of it more as a "legitimate monster".
