Godzilla (Heisei) vs. Anguirus (Showa): Trailer 2 (Just so you know, there's a portion of the match that might be a tad clunky because I have literally never wrote a story where a documentary was involved. I apologize in advance. )
Spoiler:
If the two monsters were to have drowned in the waves, there should have been a sign of it at least. A buoyant body that floated in the ocean for a brief time as bacteria and scavengers picked it apart; just like they would for a whale. But there wasn’t even a sign of that taking place. And as Frankenstein looked into the sea, he could see small crevices in the water. Signs of wakes left by creatures bigger than any normal animal.

Clues that both of them had survived.

They weren’t recording things on land, however. Rather, they were doing it in the air, in the helicopter that got Raymond and his crew to the Antarctic to begin with, and they had enough fuel to make it back to North America. From there, they would recuperate, and hopefully, try to get some clues for exactly what these monsters were, and the history behind them. It was like they had all suddenly become detectives, and they were looking for clues to crack a case before the entire world came to an end.

Sherlock Holmes however, the likes of Raymond Burr was not. And he knew that whole heartedly. Someone more experienced was needed to find out what was going on, but it would be a miracle if he found anyone that knew a thing about gigantic, still breathing dinosaurs! Unless he could track down who trapped them to begin with, but that would take a miracle. He couldn’t even be sure if any of them were still alive.

But perhaps, finding whoever knew about these things first wasn’t the answer. Instead, it should be alerting the world’s governments. Nobody knew where exactly the two monsters were headed, but any city could be next; and every country needed to be ready if they were to attack. Unfortunately, his radio only could be sent back to the newsroom; but if he still managed to get some of the footage uploaded to the cameras…

HONK, HONK

He was startled out of his thoughts the moment he heard the horn from down below. Everyone looked to see what it was; and it was a much needed relief after seeing nothing but open sea for the past couple hours: an aircraft carrier! And they seemed to recognize the familiar helicopter. They heard one of the captains calling from the loudspeaker.

"Raymond Burr! Please land your copter down immediately!"

With no real other options at hand, the famed journalists did just that, seeing that they gave him a safe place to drop down. Still, they couldn’t help but feel nervous. What were they planning to do now that they had unleashed two all powerful giants upon the world? Years in prison? Or perhaps if they truly did prove to attack the mainland.. even the death penalty?

The captain of the carrier seemed to notice their unease however, and tried to lower the tensions. “Easy there, crew. Understand you're all shaken up, but don’t worry! I doubt anyone’s taking you to prison over a crime nobody meant to commit.”

Raymond sighed in relief. “Thank goodness. Say, you must be the captain of this ship. What’s your name?”

“Captain Adam Quintana, leader of The Stonehenge, at your service! But I definitely know who you are, Burr” He said while shaking the journalists’ hand. “Gotta say, awfully strange to see someone like you in person. Before now it’s just been on my television screen!”

It was then that Adam realized that Raymond was holding something in his hands. Naturally, a random VHS did seem a bit out of the blue, especially since the brand itself was downright defunct, nor did he think there even would be a VHS player in the Antarctic.

“I don’t suppose you’re carrying a VHS around for no particular reason?” Quintana said. Raymond actually managed to forget it was there for a brief moment.

“When Frankenstein was leading me and the rest underground to escape the monsters, I found this lying around. I was hoping to head back to my home to pop this in and receive some information, but.. well, I’m obviously quite occupied at the moment. Don’t suppose you have a player laying around here, do you?”

“Would you believe me if I said we do?" Adam said. "Seamen are required to watch some tapes about carriers when they first get on board, some of them were tapes being made way back in the 80’s. Think if we hook it up to some of the electrical units we’ll be able to get things running.”

Raymond gave a look of surprise. "Huh. Looks like we actually came to the right place after all!"

******

Frankenstein was amazed that a barely used VHS player was still up and running as well as it was. Then again, maybe the fact it was barely used was the reason? In all honesty, it really didn’t matter.

He, Raymond, Adam and a couple other people on board The Stonehenge were there to see what this tape held. The other members of Area G were also invited to see, but they seemed too traumatized by the whole ordeal to want to see anymore of either monster. Not that he could blame them, but something also told him that he needed to see this tape with his own eyes. Same could be said for Burr, it seems.

Taking a moment to breathe, he let the tape slide in. Nobody was quite sure what they would find out, all silent as static filled the screen.

Adam turned to Victor for a minute. “Y’know, even if this thing does give us a way to defeat the monsters.. you think it’s really gonna work?”

Frankenstein stayed in silence for a minute, even though he already knew what he wanted to say. “Better to try than to not try at all, Captain.”

Suddenly, the static finally stopped, and before Adam had a chance to even throw a gesture back in Victor’s way, the video began. However, it was not footage of either monster that they were struck with first. Rather, a message of ominous things to come.

******

WARNING.

The following tape shows real footage of horrific events that have been kept away from the general public, which we feel is not ready to know that corporal behemoths walk the earth. Anyone who has found this tape and is currently watching it is advised to either keep this to themselves, or if they are easily prone to fear, stop watching immediately. The only time this should be shown to the public and watched in full, is if more creatures like these awaken, or if either monster shown here returns from their hibernation.

In the case of either scenario, may god bless you all.

******

The camera started to roll, showing monochrome footage of a man who wore pure white, an eyepatch across his right eye. He seemed distressed, barely able to look at the camera before he mustered up the courage to speak.

“Good evening. My name is Daisuke Serizawa. Me and a couple others are leaving this tape behind, hoping to help future generations of humanity in case an incident like this happens again, and that we’re not lucky enough to keep them away from any major cities this time. It must be said that even everyone who took part in this does not know the full extent of everything the following subjects can do; nor can we possibly assume that more of these beings share the same powers as they. For that, I wholeheartedly suggest that anyone watching this tape to still be prepared for whatever surprises may come. With that said, we shall try to share with you what we know about these “kaiju”.

******

It was almost a rarity if anyone blinked while watching the footage, of which seemed to move to a completely different location. It looked familiar to Adam, a place he felt like he had gone by a couple of times during his trips to Japan. “Odo Island?”

Raymond turned to him? “You know about this place?”

“Yeah, I visited it a couple times when I was near Japan.” Quintana said. “I always thought some of the legends they talked about were just superstitions, but now..”

******

“Odo Island was at peace before all of the madness went down.” Serizawa said “But even before then, many have said there was a sense of unease that traveled throughout the land. Many had gotten a strange case of radiation poisoning if they went too far into the jungles, or reported what sounded like footsteps, so loud they could very well have been mistaken for thunder. The natives had their beliefs of what this being was; a god that no mortal man could possibly witness without having their life changed forever. Many would most likely say that the supposed divine beast was nothing more but myth and legend…”

The footage shifted again as it cut to the top of the mountain, multiple pairs of footprints running towards the beach.

“.... It was much more real than anyone could have imagined.”

Yet again, the camera cut to something different, this time a much more horrifying sight. As villagers ran for their lives, the cameraman was frozen in fear as massive, black and white colored dorsal spines erupted from the ground, dirt falling down the monster’s back. It turned towards the frightened man, giving out a hellacious roar that rattled the earth. Raymond and Victor easily recognized it. The same, finned theropod that got them into this situation in the first place!

“The first monster ever discovered by mankind, and one also seemingly awoken by him. Sightings of this monster first became rumors after the atomic bomb test near the Bikini Atoll, were World War II soldiers sighted what appeared to be a true, living dinosaur living on Lagos Island, not too far away from Odo. When the radiation levels cleared, however, that dinosaur was gone…. and something much more horrid took its place. It swam away from its former home and found greener pastures, hiding in plain sight as the natives here left him to become a beast of folklore. Only one name has been used for this living, ancient relic. A name that can easily send shivers down the spine.

Godzilla."

Every footage after that one showed the newly named “Godzilla” from a distance, miles away, yet he looked gigantic no matter where or how he was shot. Houses were stepped on, his ray of light raised explosions. Not a single bit of empathy seemed to be on the mutant saurian’s face. In fact, it almost seemed like his teeth were forming into a strange, joyous look as he continued his destructive march. Perhaps he is glad to be getting revenge on the beings that had made him this way in the first place..

But as everyone knew at this point, Godzilla was not the only “kaiju” that had made an appearance.

Serizawa’s voice came on again. “With the uneasy alliance of both Japanese and American militaries, who have also sworn this event to be kept secret from the public eye, we were able to make Godzilla head towards another, unmanned island nearby. But what we did not know was that Godzilla was not the only monster that was hidden from human eyes. For when he got near the mountains, this had occurred..”

It became immediately obvious that one of the mountains behind Godzilla had begun to shift and crumble. The massive, charcoal gray beast soon took notice of it himself, quickly turning behind him as it began to erode away. Suddenly, a massive boulder was shot, striking Godzilla right in the chest as he roared in anger, stumbling back. His own roar, however, was quickly met by another in return.

And that was when the second dinosaur appeared.

“There’s almost little to no info on this next creature so far.” Serizawa said. “All we know is that somehow, it is related to the Ankylosaur subset of dinosaur’s from the Cretaceous era. One of the Japanese navy pilots, Akira Sakaki, took it upon himself to name this beast. From then on, the creature carried the name of “Anguirus”.”

Backing off once more, the cameraman struggled to make the camera stop shaking as he watched both saurian’s fight with the fury of a primeval world. Scratches tore open their skin, more efficient blows sounded like they nearly made their skin crack and break apart, but alas, it didn’t seem like either side would come out victorious. For after a strenuous back and forth, both fell down off a cliffside, disappearing into the seas below.

But as the footage began to switch to the deep Arctic south, it was obvious that they weren’t staying out of sight for long.

The ice beneath everyone suddenly shattered, military men running away as two great leviathans bursted from the sea. Godzilla and Anguirus were once again entangled in a massive duel, this time, with missiles from planes and helicopters blasting at their scale covered hides, hoping that it would keep them at bay. The battle of giants dragged on for several minutes at a time, the silence only broken when Serizawa began to narrate over a critical piece of information.

Exactly when Godzilla fired his mysterious blast of azure energy, he spoke up. “We eventually found out that this strange beam is generated when Godzilla’s radioactive energy runs rampant, and he uses it to his advantage by channeling it into a single stream, just like how a dragon breathes fire. Some of the scientists working with us nicknamed this move the “Atomic Ray”, and have also theorized that Godzilla could possibly use this power to have it be sent out from his entire body. A “Nuclear Pulse”, if you will. But, this is not the only ability that he inherited from feasting on the power of the atom..”

An extreme closeup of Godzilla’s injuries were shown, but it revealed something most would say came out of a comic book. For in what was only a little less than a minute, his wounds began disappearing!

“It appears that the constant movement of radioactive energy gives Godzilla a healing factor that surpasses those of almost any other lifeform on the planet, something that only the most grave of injuries could possibly send it into overdrive. Some have also theorized that a deep enough wound into his heart or lungs may be able to give it pause, or perhaps even outright kill him, but we’ve never been able to prove that this really is the case. That being said, let’s not sell Anguirus short..”

Kneeling down, the mutant Ankylosaur began to enact his most baffling move. Curling into a spiked ball, he raced towards Godzilla. The bipedal saurian tried to swipe at the massive sphere, but Anguirus swiftly dodged out of the way, then rammed into Godzilla’s side with ferocious force, earning a pained cry in response.

“Anguirus holds the unique ability to curl up like an armadillo and speed towards an opponent with great speed, and a bizarre amount of control over himself” Serizawa said. “He also has the ability to jump a great distance, almost akin to a bullfrog. In all honesty, we have no idea how he pulls this off, as it completely disobeys the laws of physics. Then again, the entire existence of Anguirus and Godzilla spits in the face of such things.”

Further into the battle, Godzilla appears to have Anguirus pinned, a foot stuck firm on his chest. Just before he could fire another blast of his Atomic Ray, however, another extraordinary attack was unleashed. With all of the air stored in his lungs, Anguirus unleashed a downright ear-piercing roar that drove the nuclear monster backwards.

“Another attack Anguirus is able to use has him release a powerful Ultrasonic Roar, that can easily blow out the eardrums of human beings. On Godzilla, however, this attack seemed a bit more tricky to properly pull off. There had been other instances where if the attack wasn’t aimed directly in Godzilla’s direction, most of its force appeared to be aimed at the mountains behind them, so it seems like precise aim is needed for it to have it reach full potency on another monster. Regardless, despite both of their abilities, it took a long while for a victor to be declared. And if we even got one at all is up for debate.”

As Anguirus swung his tail at Godzilla’s side, the radioactive dinosaur took the blow. Reacting immediately, he grabbed Anguirus’ tail, swinging the carapaced monster like a wrecking ball before tossing him away. A massive BOOM! echoed across the entirety of Antarctica as Anguirus crashed straight through a mountain, but his opponent wasn’t done yet. Dorsal plates flickering again, Godzilla fired his atomic ray once again, at the top of the mountain, sending rocks, ice and snow tumbling down on the open hole.

With that, the battle was basically over, as Anguirus was trapped in a frozen grave.

Before he could celebrate victory, however, it wasn’t long before he was buried under the ice himself. Whatever missiles remained fired onto the ground beneath him, opening up a massive hole that quickly began to swallow Godzilla like a snake would ingest its prey. Unable to do anything, Godzilla only roared in rage as he tumbled down, ice slowly piling up on his own body as well, leaving both kaiju in a forced state of hibernation. Outside of the collect few that lead to this even in the first place, humanity wouldn’t even know of their existence.

Serizawa spoke for once more. “As rumors spread across the globe, we needed to find a way to protect the site of the battle. This led to the creation of Area G, a place where we could monitor the seas and skies and make sure no other country on Earth could try to find these monsters. The facility itself even holds the world’s first coded door, named after the day it was finished being built.

******

Raymond’s eyes suddenly widened, shaking Frankenstein as he pointed to the code.

“Look, Victor! 4-24-55! I knew there was something about that date!”

******

“Alas, after some time, the rumors of monsters being trapped under the Antarctic circle faded into obscurity.” Daisuke concluded. “Eventually, this led to Area G being abandoned, but in the case of either, or both monsters reawakening, we wanted to leave something to show what it was truly meant for. And this tape is what we decided to go with.”

After so long, Serizawa’s face was finally shown again, looking more glum than ever. “In the case of that happening, or perhaps, an unknown third kaiju attack, we can unfortunately only say one thing can be done. Make sure it never gets too close to an inhabited area! Civilian casualties should be kept to a minimum. Alas, that’s all the advice I can truly give. But I hope, as mankind’s technology improves, perhaps a weapon to finally get monsters away from our lands does not lie outside of our possibilities… goodnight.”

******

Just like that, the tape stopped.

It popped back out of the VHS player, Frankenstein picking it up in his hands. Murmuring ran amok with some of the crew members; but between the captain, the scientist and the journalist, they were only accompanied by their own thoughts. Too many thoughts continued to run inside their brain..

But one thing was for certain: and that was the fact that Serizawa’s warnings could definitely prove true, if nothing were to be done.

Of course, that would require trying to find the monsters in the first place. The ocean was wide, but surely, if other navy ships around the world were on high alert for the monsters, surely one of them would have reported a sighting by now. Maybe they just needed to ask around?

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

“Something’s coming towards us!” Adam exclaimed. “Alright men, you know the drill! Let’s MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!”

The army quickly obeyed Quintana’s command, and they moved out, quickly charging up the steps. Everyone got into position, ready to take on this new threat to The Stonehenge. Raymond and Victor soon followed, wanting to find out what the commotion was about.

When the incoming object came into view, however, it was obvious trouble was ahead.

******

From the sea, a massive carapace rose from the depths. Senses so powerful that no other being on Earth could possibly reach, it wasn’t long till the living fossil located the strange, new, mechanical devices that seemingly plagued this world now. His opponent was drawing near, but a plan was being thrusted into his head. While he had no problem swimming, he always moved better on land. With such a massive platform in sight, however, he could use it to give himself an advantage.

And he made his presence known, when his head bursted out of the water with a mighty roar!

******

Gasped echoed across the aircraft, as the great beast made himself known to the rest of humankind. Missiles immediately fired at the creature as Frankenstein quickly realized who they were dealing with. “Great Scott.. It’s Anguirus!”

Alright, last trailer for this match for real!
Spoiler:
Reaching the shoreline, the orb floated slightly above ground level, stopping its descent. It then went utterly silent, confusing the Gods of creation. Suddenly, it exploded with an ethereal glow, forcing everyone to shield their eyes, even the humans who were miles away looked away, lest they go blind. In the blast's wake, the mountains were leveled while the sand turned to glass. As the air returned to decent conditions, the area where the orb was stationed was now replaced with a large smoke cloud, a faint red glow being visible from the inside. Each of the Titans recovered, staring intensely at the growing smog. Even with their enhanced vision, both Rodan and Mothra were unable to see the malevolent entity that lay within. What they could see however, was a new glow coming from within. Mothra let out a shriek to warn the others, everyone quickly getting ready for what was coming.

Suddenly, an intense beam of electricity burst forth from the cloud, flashing with hues of blue and white. Although they didn’t see who it hit, they all heard it tear through something and a roar of pain. Turning around, everyone’s hearts dropped when they saw who was the victim of this divine wrath.

Telesdon, with a massive hole which pierced straight through his chest.

The dinosaurian ruler didn’t even have time to register what had happened before his vision started turning black. Letting out a gurgle of agony, he spit out blood before falling to the ground, his body exploding and sending chunks of his corpse across the land.

Seeing this made Godzilla’s blood boil, as well as everyone else's as they all noticed the smoke cloud had dispersed, allowing them all a view of Telesdon’s killer. His body was adorned with silver and brown armor, covering his wicked flesh. Atop his head sat a long horn, two more jousting out from his side. His eyes, glowing, pupiless orbs, dug fear deep into the hearts of the guardians. Even Godzilla and Utsuno couldn’t help but feel a twinge of it as they stared at the god, who wore a devilish grin on his face. This was him; the demon that brought them all together.

Spoiler:
[Continued from Match 306]

Across the early morning mountain air in the ruins of Janjira, a siren blares.

A screeching howl mightier than the loudest thunder, yet at the same time more vulnerable than the most emotional of songs; a roaring cry that echoed beyond the island of Japan for all to hear, waking countless residents far and wide like a makeshift rooster cry. Rumbling the island with tiny earthquakes from its sheer auditory power, echoing for miles in hopes of being heard very soon. It had been a day since Rodan, the Giant Monster of the Skies, had defeated the mighty King of the Monsters, Godzilla, and sent him sinking out of sight below the ocean waves to an unknown fate. The irradiated Pteranodon stood perched atop the peak of Mt Fuji, his prehistoric silhouette creating a powerfully nightmarish outline against the slowly brightening morning sky. His repeated cry yearned through the gentle wind, reverberating through the trees and off the mountains like the ghostly echoes of a bygone age.

Why, not a single resident of Japan knew.

But one thing was known- the J.S.D.F. had taken such a display as a threatening gesture, and after the defeat and possible death of Godzilla, Japan wasn’t willing to share their homeland with another Daikaiju after already having done so unknowingly for 15 years. So, with a little help from Monarch, they assembled their maser tanks and all their best aircraft, loaded their recently developed full-metal missiles, and all rode out towards Mt. Fuji to do battle.

At first, the mighty pterosaur responded to their arrival with aggressive body gestures and threatening cries, telling them all to scram- or else. Unfortunately for Rodan, his warnings fell on ears just as deaf as those of his defeated rival, and all weapons fired upon him at once.

Thus, his temper was ignited.

Filling the air with screeches of rage, Rodan took to the air and laid waste to the entire offensive. Hundreds of the bravest lives imaginable were never seen again that day; tanks and choppers alike crunched, crushed, and struck down from the air to meet their end in explosions of flame as one by one, the enraged pterosaur wiped out the entire counteroffensive in but a minute’s worth. The once peaceful, calm scenery had been turned into a field of flaming ruins; the prehistoric reptile tearing asunder his enemies and smiting their ruin upon the mountain’s slope. Nothing could topple the winged saurian.

For a time, Rodan simply stood upon his usual perch, dry heaving in frustrated exhaustion. But as time passed, his temper slowly cooled, and before long the air was filled with his rumbling cries once more. Only occasionally would he cease his cries and take a break, an occasion which allowed the frightened residents to breathe sighs of relief, if only temporarily. But it wouldn’t be too long before Rodan’s thunderous cackle cracked through the sound barrier to startle everyone out of their skin, and the process would begin anew. All the way into the night the siren rang, while debate raged on about why the crimson pterosaur demonstrated such behavior.

The following day... ... ...

Had this one on the backburner for a while, but I figured I'd work on it in-between.
Spoiler:
Godzilla with his two sons behind him walked to the shores of Monster Island. It was time for Junior to continue his training to take up his father’s mantle as King of the Monsters. He performed well in his fight against the islands newest resident, Frankenstein, but he was still relatively inexperienced in battle, only ever sparring with Anguirus and Daigoro, or beating up Gabara when the bully would torment his younger brother Minilla. So, Godzilla took it upon himself and the rest of Monster Island’s residents to assist in training his son. Upon reaching the beach, Junior assumed he would be sparring with an opponent like Varan, who could fight in the water as well as he could on the land.

What the young prince didn’t know however, was that he would be fighting three opponents, each different, but also the same.

Reaching the shoreline, Godzilla ordered his son to enter the water. He obliged, going out far enough to where only his upper half was visible. As he entered deeper waters, Godzilla roared at him, telling him he was going to need to be quick. Junior was still confused as to who exactly he was fighting against. Perhaps Manda?

Before he could question further, he felt something cold and slimy wrap around his tail. The adolescent mutant roared in surprise before more joined in, proceeding to pull him underwater. Junior shrieked before being dragged below the surface. Opening his eyes, Jr. turned and saw the interloper.

It was. . . Gezora?

I've been fighting my internet connection for the past couple hours and I'm not satisfied with how the last couple paragraphs turned out, but.. Eh, I'll fix them in the morning.
Spoiler:
Berlin, Germany. 7:00 PM..

As the glowing tentacles swiped at the King of the Monsters, the Permian-era dinosaur stepped back in caution. Another quick blast of the Atomic Ray struck the massive, space born jellyfish, causing an explosion to erupt from its glowing, almost non-existent “flesh”.

Godzilla watched the strange, glowing organism. Only a year after his final fight with the One who was Many did he yet again face another being from beyond the stars; and one that looked much more extraterrestrial to boot. It had no face, so it was hard for him to really even try to find a proper expression beyond body movements. And all signs showed that it wasn’t trying to pay the Alpha Predator much mind. Rather, it continued to try and feast on all of the carbon that the capital of Germany had to offer..

With a corrosive body, getting too close to the Celestial Being was practically a death sentence, but Godzilla only had one ranged attack for him to truly rely on. His dorsal plates lit up like a hoard of Christmas lights, a defiant roar escaping his jaws as the colossal beast began to float back in his direction..

**********

"So, we got an idea what to do with this thing or what?"

Mark Stanton watched as the newly named "Dogora" squared off with Godzilla. The Argo had already taken damage due to the space monster’s corrosive body, so they couldn’t do much more than stay out of the conflict for now. Steam slithered out of the melted wings like snakes, making it a tad more difficult to breathe. But they planned to hold out, at least until they knew how to stop the extraterrestrial threat.

“Okay, so we got a giant, energy based hentai monster hot on Godzilla’s tail.” Rick Stanton said as he analyzed all the data Monarch had so far. “Missiles don’t phase it and the atomic breath only does so much damage.. Is there a way we could make this thing solid somehow? Can’t be impossible to touch if we could make it become the same material of the things it's trying to eat.”

“We don’t have that kind of time on our hands! This thing’s taken out half of the country already!” Ilene Chang argued. “Ugh, but nothing we do works on it at all. But we can’t just sit here and do nothing. Are we sure that nothing has had an effect on Dogora so far?”

Rick turned back to the files. “All we know is that if it feeds, it grows. It’s basically a real version of one of those old Grow Monster figurines! It was 50 meters tall when it got to Earth and now it’s already rivaling Godzilla.”

Meanwhile, Sam Coleman, usually just as snarky as Rick, was.. Awfully silent. He kept looking back at the videos where Dogora first got close to Earth. Everything about the creature was awfully peculiar, but its body movement when coming in close to the planet’s atmosphere was downright off putting. It was much more erratic, almost frightened. It wasn’t until it got bigger and absorbed its food that it calmed its nerves. (nerves that it probably didn’t really even have) it wasn’t really even trying to fight with Godzilla it seemed, more just trying to shove him aside so it could move on..

Something was definitely wrong here.

“Hey, Mark. Come look at this!” He said. The monitor had perfectly latched onto each movement Dogora had made. “I.. Honestly I don’t really know how to properly describe this, but I’m starting to think Dogora didn’t come here just because it wanted to.”

Mark stayed silent for a minute, watching the strange lifeform dance on the feed. “... Go on.”

“Okay, so basically, you see how slow Mr. Tentacruel is moving over there?” Sam pointed to Dogora, who continued to swat at Godzilla like a fly with its tentacles. The Monster King continued to fight back, but couldn’t help but wince as an extreme heat swiped at his skin, forming burns that would soon turn into scars.

“Now look at it back here. Not only is it smaller, it’s moving in a much faster and more nervous way. And look, those little dots you can see over there? After I did a little bit of zooming in and comparisons.. Those aren’t tiny little meteorites or anything like that. Those are part of Dogora’s body.” Sam made sure to put emphasis on that last part. Overhearing the one-sided conversation, Rick and Ilene also came over and heard his findings.

Rick spoke up before Sam could say anything else. “Wait, wait, wait, hold on here! So, you’re telling me that the creature which Godzilla can only injure with one attack got beaten so badly that it took the coward’s way out and ran off? What the hell would have beat it up so bad to do that?’

“There’s tons of things that could be lurking out there; Ghidorah taught us that already.” Ilene said. “Odds are it ran into an even bigger predator, or even some other member of its kind.. But if it got here so fast, then wouldn’t that mean whatever got to Dogora wouldn’t be too far away?”

Just for that moment, all four of them were silent. At least, until..

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Sirens suddenly blared. Something had been spotted in space! Mark looked towards the Monarch satellite again, and the culprit was clear as day. A massive, crimson sphere which raced at speeds that in just a matter of seconds, was already hurdling past the moon.

“Jesus, this thing’s faster than the speed of light!” He exclaimed. “What is this thing, some kind of comet?”

But a zoom in showed otherwise. It wasn’t a comet. Matter of fact, it wasn’t even made of any solid object. Just like Dogora, it was made out of pure energy!

.. And Sam managed to notice something else. A bizarre outline that he could just barely make out, almost like a fetus held inside the womb. An X-Ray was cast on the shape, and everyone looked absolutely flabbergasted by what laid inside the glowing, blood red sphere. There was a living creature inside. It was huge, it had the strangest, yellow colored, bulbous eyes.

It looked.. Human.

**********

Corrosive tendrils curled around Godzilla’s massive leg, a howl of pain emitting from the Permian reptile's jaws. Dogora saw a wonderful meal in Godzilla, but the trouble was starting to feel more than it was worth. Before the rest of the acidic flesh would melt into bone, another atomic ray struck the very top of the creature, blowing up a massive chunk that fell to the Berlin streets with a sickening squelch. Tossed like a sack of potatoes, Godzilla made a hard landing in the Spree River, blood beginning to paint it red as steam rose up from his wounded limb. His dorsal plates flickered, trying to restore his wasted atomic energy, but it was for naught. Nuclear power was not infinite, and the constant shots of his ray had depleted tons of it.

Just the opportunity that Dogora needed. Two tentacles shot forward, one jamming into Godzilla’s right arm while the other slammed into his rib. Even when he howled in pain, Godzilla kept trying to bring out his vast radioactive power, with Dogora inching closer to burn off the great Titans head-

-.. But then there was a noise.

Godzilla almost didn’t pay it any attention, the a pain in his body throbbing making him hyper-focused on getting out of the fight more than anything else; but it soon became too loud to truly ignore. Even more so when Dogora began to react oddly towards it. The jellyfish-like monster, which usually moved in a very calm manner, suddenly started shaking.

Impossible! Even after it came all this way, it still managed to track it here!?

There was no time to try and get bigger now. Even when it was bigger, even more so than it was in this state, the entity had blown it apart. The one lifeform it had met whose powers rendered its own strength useless. Outright ignoring Godzilla’s cries of anguish when its tendrils shot back out of his body, Dogora tried to flee back into space. It could stay here no longer, it had to keep moving before-

BOOM!

Almost all of Berlin suddenly gained an orange tint as an absolutely gigantic explosion rattled out of Dogora’s body. The great Celestial Being fell right into the river, the heat of its body immediately heating it up. Already feeling a burning sensation in his body and not wanting to add on to it, Godzilla quickly, though not painlessly, crawled out of the water. Trying to find out what struck Dogora, he looked to the sky, seeing a crimson streak suddenly speed towards the planet before slowing down.

But it was no meteor that Godzilla and the citizens of Germany saw.

As it hovered over the ruined streets, the orb began to fade and the shape of the entity became clear. Compared to every Titan on Earth, it was much more humanoid. Giant, bulbous eyes gave him vision better than almost everything else in the universe; as his muscles flexed with power thousands times greater than any man. He looked like old depictions of a knight in shining armor, silver padding covering his head, shoulders and the middle of his chest, the last of which ran down his legs. A single green gem rested on his forehead, capable of firing a powerful beam of light.

To the people of Earth, he was an unknown being from beyond the stars, but many civilizations across the universe knew his name. A member of the Seven Ultra Brothers. Agent 340. The paladin from the Land of Light..

Ultraseven had finally arrived!

**********

“Ladies and gentlemen..” Rick trailed off. “I think we just made first contact.”

“..Implying we didn’t when Ghidorah crashed down to Earth?” Mark said, to which Rick snarkily replied. “Do you really consider something trying to destroy the planet immediately “first contact?”

“.... You know what? Fair.”

Sam looked at the giant humanoid in pure awe, and quickly put the pieces together. “This has to be the thing I was just talking about! This thing must have been the one to scare Dogora away and send him over here. It came back to finish the job.. But what is it gonna do after that?”

Illene continued to look at the extraterrestrial, who had gotten into a stance that showed it was ready for battle as Dogora wobbly emerged from the waves. “It honestly might just depend. If it sees the rest of Earth’s Titans as a threat too, who knows what may happen. But right now I don’t think we should stay too close. If it reacts brashly to us, we might pay a heavy price.”

“Roger that!” Mark said. “Everyone, get us to safer ground pronto!”

Knowing what to do, the Argo swiftly moved further away from Berlin, and higher into the sky. It seemed like a space-faring conflict was finally reaching its conclusion.

**********

Even in an already beaten up and desperate state, Dogora knew it had to try and fight once more. An audible groan echoed from its entire body, as the tentacles shot out once again in order to try and ensnare its returning foe.

Seven was having none of it.

Not even a millisecond later had his Eye Beams shot out, the pale blue lasers instantly destroying pieces of Dogora’s body. Bewildered and already reeling from the pain, the glowing lifeform charged in headfirst, but it couldn’t manage to hit its target. Seven had outright teleported out of harm's way, and Dogora had struck nothing more but thin air.

Then, struck by a barrage of Shuriken Beams, Dogora was once again sent crashing right into the streets of Berlin, a massive chunk blowing up, making it even smaller than it was before, and whatever was blown away turning into embers.

*********
Godzilla staggered back again, trying to get away from the burning monster, whose even tiniest pieces of burnt flesh caused a wracking sensation within his destroyed body. Just where were these things coming from!? The only alien he ever meets only showed up on Earth ages ago, and the next thing he knows, there’s already two charging into his own territory!

…. No, this was his doing, wasn’t it? One last mockery from his arch-rival from beyond his grave. The Titan call must’ve not just affected the monsters on Earth, it spread across the entirety of the stars! Now he would lead all sorts of other bizarre creatures to his domain, and Earth could very well become overrun.

And unfortunately enough, he could do nothing. Nothing now at least. Dogora’s acidic body absolutely massacred his limbs, and his radioactive reserves were still rather low. For now, he’d let the two aliens finish their fight and see who would come out on top.. As if it wasn’t obvious who that would be.

*********

Ultraseven watched as Dogora emerged from the wreckage, now smaller than ever. In just a matter of minutes, the 100-meter tall monster was now no larger than 40 meters. It shook in fear, knowing that it had badly lost. It needed to escape, and now! Quickly floating upwards, it tried to escape into the depths of space, trying to live and feed again so it could see another day.

But letting such a danger escape was definitely something Seven couldn’t allow!

With arms crossed, a shower of golden rays quickly shot at Dogora, wrapping around the alien jellyfish. Now trapped, the once-powerful Celestial Being could no longer move, wrapped in energy-themed chains, and far too weak to wrestle its way out. Something that finally allowed Agent 340 to finish the fight for good. The gem on his head begins to ominously glow, a powerful attack ready to charge.

And just moments later, the Emerium Beam fired, launching towards Dogora like a missile! Able to do nothing, Dogora only watched in a mixture of awe and horror as the emerald beam zoomed forth, incinerating it immediately on contact, before absolutely nothing was left.

Even though many others of its kind were spread out across the cosmos, it was clear that this Dogora would never get the chance to drive planets to extinction again.

As the smoke from numerous energy blasts cleared, and the sun shined brightly over Berlin once more, the citizens of Germany were greeted by their savior. Ultraseven looked down at them, with eyes full of triumph. His fist pumped into the air, as he shouted in a well earned victory!

The reactions of the German people were almost overwhelmingly overjoyed. Their home was saved, and what a hero had done the deed! After two unwelcome greetings from threats beyond the stars, humanity had been gifted a benevolent force among them. And with the entire event caught on international TV, the headlines immediately began to roll: “Mysterious alien vanquishes threat! Earth’s newest friend?”

Clearly, the entire idea of the globe having a new ally on its side left tons of people looking towards its future.. All except for one, that is.

Not paying much attention to him at the moment, most did not notice the scowl that latched itself onto Godzilla’s face as he limped away, before he reached the ocean once more and disappeared into the sea.

With a corrosive body, getting too close to the Celestial Being was practically a death sentence, but Godzilla only had one ranged attack for him to truly rely on.

Ooh, I am super excited about this one. Looking forward to it!

A little something for you all.

Spoiler:
Japan; 5:40 A.M.

Azusa Kisaragi hated getting up in the early morning. Out of all the times another beast had to show its ugly mug, and it had to be at five in the goddamn morning. It was still dark outside, and she hadn’t even had enough time for a shower or breakfast before she had to be out the door. Her sleep had barely been close to decent, her eyes fought to stay open and her head felt like it was beginning to spin. Only her years’ worth of a soldier’s duty compelled Azusa to get going as quickly as possible; but she swore that by the end of whatever conflict awaited her, she would sleep the entire rest of the day like a drunk tortoise.

It was to her relief that Akiba was less of an asshat when all went to battle stations, not poking fun at the sleep bags under her eyes or her constant blinking as to stay awake. Thankfully, the soldier’s energy was boosted at least somewhere close to normal when the situation was briefed.

Not one, but two colossal superspecies had made landfall on Japanese soil. One; a giant bipedal creature had emerged from the Pacific and had pushed its way into Muroto, and was steadily headed northeast. But meanwhile, in the forests just off Niihama, yet another beast had appeared somewhat abruptly in the wake of the first; witnesses having described the creature as having been “dropped out of the sky by hot air balloons.”

The plan was straightforward; the Anti-Megalosaurus’ ultimate weapon would be dispatched to deal with the second monster, while a Type-90 maser battalion would form a line to block the first from reaching another populated area. Azusa was grateful that she wouldn’t have to physically pilot the mech herself, for such a strain would probably test her sanity to its limits.

She could only hope that the whole operation would go smoothly.

Muroto; Kochi Prefecture, Japan.

The quake of gigantic footfalls took terror to a whole new level in the dead of dark.

There was far too little visibility when the horror struck. The civilians had felt the calamity coming long before they ever saw anything resembling a living creature—and even when the rampage had begun, nobody could see a thing. Like panicked lemmings, the neighbors had all scattered in different directions as the all-but-invisible disaster marched through the hapless sprawl, crushing all in its path. Only once had any source of light done anything to give sight to the thing, and even that had been nothing but a mere glimpse; a bipedal terror, with a lengthy tail and a curved horn adorning its head. Tall as a building, with footsteps that brought the terror of earthquakes.

A new Kaiju had come to add to the plight of Japan, the country cursed with monster attacks since 1954.

Sadly, amidst the deadly confusion, it was more than easy for several poor souls to become utterly lost. And when they did, the casualties rose considerably; with little source of light, many didn’t realize just how close the monster was to them…until it was too little, too late. It was the worst of circumstances for another Kaiju attack to take place, and the penalty thus paid was as high as Tokyo Tower. Perhaps the worst aspect of all, was that despite being unable to be properly seen in the early morning darkness, the creature was sure heard. Every once and a while, a deep and primordial roar would rattle the earth and deafen the masses in its wake, drowning out their cries of terror.

However, for as long as it felt, the attack was actually over rather quickly in the grand scheme of time, the beast’s footsteps beginning to lessen before even half an hour had passed. It took a while for the terrified citizens to realize that the monster’s footfalls were steadily beginning to grow more distant, the unseen attacker beginning to put a mounting distance between itself and them.

As the footfalls grew ever farther to signify the monster’s slow departure into the mountainous forests, a final roar echoed from its concealed visage. One urban area had fallen before the creature’s heel.

It was only a matter of time before the next one got hit.

Niihama.

A massive head perked up in confusion, having sworn he had heard something.

Reddish-brown fur adorned a massive primate, a wonder the likes of which the world had never known. Weary eyes gazed back into the mountains from a face that looked almost human, the simian having sworn he heard something in the vast distance. All around him, a great many cried out in fear as they ran to avoid the mammoth animal, but the Ruler of the South Seas paid no attention to their like. The gigantic primate stood silent as he listened intently, but he heard no repeat of the sound. All that greeted his ears were the tiny vocalizations of the many civilians that ran away in his presence. The legendary giant, crowned famously as King Kong, scratched his head in perplexion before turning slowly back to the urban sprawl that lay before him.

The hairy giant looked about the moderately-lit populace, confusion mixing with uncertainty. Just what exactly was he supposed to do here? Where even was here? In all the different terrains Farou Island bore, never had he seen anything like this. One moment it was mostly forests and mountains, a habitat he recognized—but the next, everything was constructs of stone, steel and glass, with glowing lights decorating the landscape and humans scattering about like wailing ants. Kong scratched his head once more, taking a few cautious steps into the strange terrain with booming quakes; his feet crushing a few vehicles and houses like wet tissue paper. More people panicked as he wandered deeper into the recesses of the city, the monkey’s confusion now crumbling in favor of curiosity. Deciding to see what these weird constructs were made of, Kong reared his right arm and brought it down on the closest one. Instantly, the building smashed apart, crumbling to pieces before his feet. At this, the primate cocked his head. It seemed these structures were no less fragile than the gates on his island home, different as their materials were.

But with its destruction, boredom returned…until something caught Kong’s eye.

Looking down, the simian spotted several wooden poles, connected by lengthy wires that seemed to radiate with something. An energy source that Kong felt drawn to, even though he couldn’t see it. Hooting in interest, the primate grabbed the wires and pulled. The moment they touched his hand, a flow of electricity coursed through Kong’s hand—but the animal was unaffected. Bringing the poles and wires up, Kong chewed upon them like a dog with a toy, ignoring the voltage of electricity that coursed into his face…

…and was rudely interrupted when a barrage of energy blasts pierced into his furry hide!

Roaring in shock, Kong dropped the wooden poles and bolted to his feet, looking intently for the source of the attack. It took but a few seconds for him to locate his oppressor; a good distance away, two great metal birds flew through the air—and with the use of giant cables, airlifted a gigantic…being. Two yellow eyes glowed like lanterns in the darkness, pupil-less and unblinking. Its gigantic body was weaved in a dinosaurian silhouette, with great spines lining its back, a pointed horn crowning its draconic head, and stretching an impressive tail from its rear. A pair of strange, columnar appendages pointed off the beast’s shoulders, with twin “claws” of some kind seeming to extend from its wrists. At first, Kong had to squint his eyes to try and get a better look, unsure if his mind was just playing tricks on him.

The closer it came, however, Kong realized that the being and its appendages were cast not in flesh, but metal!

“The target’s in sight. We’re good to go,” Akiba confirmed as the AC-3 White Herons drifted closer to the massive primate.

“Roger that,” Azusa replied, before she reached across the control pad in front of her, “releasing tow harness.”

With a press of a button, the cables that held the Kiryu to the planes detached, and a pair of jet thrusters roared to life beneath the robot’s shoulders as it began to drift smoothly towards the ground. With their ultimate weapon all but ready for combat, the White Heron jets veered away and ascended altitude to keep out of the inevitable line of fire. The controls necessary for the massive mecha were in the other jet, where Lieutenant Togashi resided; all for him to take from here.

All Azusa and Akiba could do as of late was sit back and watch, and provide assistance should things go awry.

From the communications link, their Colonel spoke the ultimate weapon’s mighty name.

“MechaGodzilla, entering the field.”
"William Knifeman! AH! AH! AH!"

Another one on the backburner that I decided to start cleaning up. Enjoy!
Spoiler:
Sergeant Steven Woods had his hands full.
Since Godzilla had re-awoken following his four-year burial, the soldier was up to his neck in assignments, not only because of the King of Monsters, but dozens of other, more ancient monsters had awoken as well. The Russians had been infiltrated by a shape-shifting alien, who had taken the form of wealthy monger Dyachenko, using his ploy to create his new Mechagodzilla units, under the guise that they were cheaper, more available alternatives to the G.D.F units Moguera and Kiryu. While Godzilla, with the help of Anguirus, defeated the cyborgs, some people now knew that an invasion was imminent. Not only that, but the guardian Mothra had been killed by her dark counterpart, Battra. Although she was dead, her Larva, as well as the Shobijin still lived and had come to Monster Island. Now, Woods had yet another problem as the twin caterpillars approached the island’s shore, which was blocked by several ships

Pulling out his communicator, Woods turned it on before issuing a command. “Clear a path for those two, so long as they know we’re not a threat, they’ll stay calm.”

Upon receiving the order, the ships slowly began to separate, moving away from the Larva. The two reacted but made no move against the armada, simply continuing forth. As the larva reached the shoreline, the fabled Shobijin floated downwards off of the head of one, slowly descending to the now upturned sand.

Although his heart pounded, Woods calmed himself as he marched forward, planning to converse with the twin fairies. He knew from stories and a certain friend’s own experiences that these two were on their side. Seeing the arrival of two new monsters, Chavez, one of Woods’ close friends in the army, along with several other soldiers rushed outside, looking in awe at the sight in front of them.

But they weren’t the only ones who noticed the Mothra’s arrival. . .

Far in the forests, the island's namesakes watched on in a mix of confusion and intrigue. The first two to spot them were another pair of siblings, one with green, algae-like coloring, while the other’s hide was brown and rocky. Gaira licked his lips, anticipating a meal, only for his brother to whack him over the head with a tree. Sanda grunted at his brother, telling him that there would be no conflict. The green Gargantua growled but did nothing more, simply turning away in annoyance. The two heard something land on a mountain behind them. As the sons of Frankenstein turned to find the culprit, its red skin, large wings, and warbling cackle gave away who it was. Rodan cackled at the two, wondering what they saw. Sanda pointed at the beach, drawing the pterodactyls' attention to the new arrivals. Rodan cawed in confusion. Mothra?

As the mutated flier watched on in shock, the ground behind him buckled and bulged, revealing a yellow, translucent horn, which soon emerged from the ground along with the rest of the figure's mass. Much like Rodan, the creature also had red skin, though this one was less of a solid red and more of a mahogany-brown mix. Baragon shrieked a greeting at Rodan, the avian kaiju returning with a cry of his own. Seeing the duo of bugs on the beach, Baragon tilted his head curiously.

PEW PEW!

Another creature made itself known with its signature chirp, its eight spindly legs carrying him to the gathering of titans. Kumonga’s stinger extended and retracted as he expressed his desire to feast on the Larva, something which Gaira backed up with a roar. Sanda growled at both of them. No! Reluctantly, Kumonga backed down, letting out a chirp of annoyance. Fine, he would just go find that annoying lizard. .

******

Elsewhere off the shores of Monster Island, there was another that sensed the Mothra’s arrival. Its reptilian body, sharp dorsal spines, and boxy head would fool anyone at an initial glance, as they would believe that they were looking at a replica of the King of Monsters himself! This was not the case, however, for this monster had been labeled as taking the “God” out of Godzilla. Thus, the mega zoological field simply dubbed it ‘Zilla’.

Zilla suspiciously glared at the twins through the ocean's murky surface. He wasn’t the oldest monster, not by a long shot, but even he knew that if Mothra was here, then something bad was bound to happen soon. For now though, he would simply wait, knowing that going onto land would be a death sentence.

It's cool to see a match set in the IDW-verse! This ought to be interesting...

SIDE NOTE: This match is still very much a work in progress story-wise, so it may not even end up a KWC but instead a KWCE when finished. Anywho, here you all go for today.

Spoiler:
[Continued from Match 114]

A livid glow of velvet pierced its target with a gaze most befitting its nature.

The Cyborg Monster knew not how long it had been since he had last seen action, nor how long the war had raged without him since his humiliating defeat. His body was not the same as it had been the last time he was alive, and he didn’t need to look in a mirror to know it. He felt it in his very being alone; alas, he had already seen the changes made to his form upon his reawakening. His once shining blue flesh was now a slim green with golden scales, his “wings” having changed equal color just the same. His scythes were stronger, his body bulkier, his tail thicker and stronger. How his alien allies had upgraded him and how long it had taken didn’t matter to the cyborg dinosaur, for all he deemed important brewed in his mind alone. And what lay in his mind brewed and boiled until by the time he reawoke, the space monster stood on the edge of a boiling tipping point.

From the moment the azure flames of his reptilian enemy had roasted his head until it was charred black, Gigan had been plunged not into a peaceful darkness or even a spiritual plane. Instead, he entered a Hell more torturous than any kingdom of fire and brimstone. The Cyberclaw Terror had been plunged into a world of unrelenting nightmares, repetitive and savage in their coming. Again and again, they persisted in a vicious eternity that Gigan couldn’t keep up with—and not once did they compose of anything different. One by one, replay after replay, they were all the same.

Memories of his last moments in the battle. Memories of his defeat at the hands of that cybernetic iguana. Seemingly forever replaying in his consciousness like a broken film reel; mocking him, tormenting him, humiliating him with ceaseless abandon. Beyond count, and beyond stopping, for he was just a decapitated head left to burn on the ground while he watched his headless body topple in defeat. Forever it felt Gigan was doomed to relive his last moments in life…not knowing what was truly happening to him in the land of the living. Not even remotely aware of the second chance the Space Hunter Nebula M were giving him.

One that he could now see was staring him right in the face.

The municipality of Vågan, Norway burned. Twin pairs of emerald-tinted eyes gazed coldly upon the destruction with emotionless indifference, having still not noticed the revived horror regarding them with a seething gaze. One was a beastly mutation, a towering deep-dweller of hybridized features between crustaceans and cephalopods. Twin giant arms carried a shelled, legless body armed with tentacles, its mouth composed of four flaps of flesh like a flower. In his right mind, Crustaceous Rex would’ve taken no interest in the conquest he partook in; alas, the deep-sea mutant wasn’t in his right mind. Reduced to nothing more than a robotic puppet to follow the Leviathan aliens’ every whim, the squid eater did whatever he was told without question. But his like was barely even an afterthought in Gigan’s mind.

It was the second monster that held the cyborg dinosaur’s attention.

Not a minute had ever gone by since that dreaded day, that Cyber Godzilla wasn’t on the forefront of Gigan’s embittered thoughts. From the second the alien had awoken from his death-induced nightmare coma, he had cried out in the hangar that held him as he shook with rage. The moment he returned to the land of the living, the desire to butcher the cybernetic iguana fueled him like the molten core of a sun. So much that he could never stand being confined to his masters’ grounds, a matter of which had even put a few of the space cockroaches in danger. He had wanted out. Gigan didn’t know how long he had been made to wait, so much had it felt like eternity. For all he knew, he might not have even been waiting for a few days. He may have only been back for a few hours before now. Before his masters at last set him loose like the rageful dog he was, finally deploying him to go release his mounting boiling point and exact his bloody revenge.

So immersed in their own mind-controlled mission were the Leviathan puppets, that it seemed they still failed to grasp the alien’s presence. Gigan couldn’t decide whether or not he wanted to take his old killer by complete surprise, or announce his presence to the wretch. To inform him of the savage karma that was coming his way. Either option was incredibly tempting, but not enough to stall the living weapon for long. Eventually, his thoughts came back into focus as a decision was made.

The tiny aperture above his eye flashing, Gigan chuckled internally as he fired. A thin violet laser hewed through the air, piercing into Cyber Godzilla’s side with flawless precision. An explosion crackled off the impact as the reptile recoiled with a wailing shriek, causing both mutations to turn to their attacker at last. Two pairs of featureless eyes met Gigan’s glowing red visor, the space monster holding out a scythed arm as if pointing accusingly at his old rival. A warped snarl droned from the jaws of Cyber Godzilla, followed by a loud bugle from Crustaceous Rex, but nothing to truly indicate to Gigan that the iguana cyborg recognized him.

This enraged the space monster. He wanted his former killer to KNOW the magnitude of the mistake he had made.

Unbeknownst to the alien cyclops, however, there was someone aware of his presence. Watching him from places his lone eye could not see, very surprised indeed to see him alive…

Site Omega; South Pacific.

An insectoid body floated above ground like a ghost, cold green eyes gazing upon the viewscreen before their owner.

Despite his lack of facial expression, the commander of the Leviathan aliens cocked his head in interest upon seeing an old enemy on the viewscreen in front of him. He would not deny that this was quite the surprise indeed, and one that needed dealing with if his race was to achieve victory. Beside him, his brother and second in command tilted his head upwards, his own blank expression concealing his own surprise.

“Gigan lives?” he asked. “And it seems those insects gave him an upgrade…”

But his elder sibling remained calm. “So, the cockroach people salvaged a broken toy and gave him a makeover…” he mused. Then he raised his hand, his eyes turning red as he gave his Kaiju soldiers a telepathic order.

“Godzilla…C-Rex…destroy him.”

World Children’s Land; Japan.

Within the head of the replicant ‘Godzilla Tower’, the chairman of the M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens sat patiently as he and his fellows watched the action unfold on a viewscreen of their very own.

“So they still have their old toy, do they?” he muttered before raising a hand.

“Gigan…get it.”

*****

The cyborg dinosaur heard the order loud and clear, but he didn’t attack the Leviathan duo because he was following it. No, he was going to tear the fools before him apart because he wanted to. Because this was far more personal than following simple orders. Gigan had been looking forward to this moment since he first awoke from his nightmarish afterlife, obsessing over it in a manner that nearly drove him berserk. And now that moment was here at last.

Whatever orders his masters would give him were meaningless as Gigan shrieked a war cry and broke into a maddened charge.

Enjoy!
Spoiler:

Monster X vs. Sanda & ??? (????)

X howled in delight as another building fell to his mighty claws, showering the streets in debris. People ran through the destroyed avenue, but golden rays merged their remnant ashes with those of the city. No one had been expecting a kaiju attack in a place like this. Of all places, why Iowa? Nevertheless, the alien monster deemed the Hawkeye State would be the first to fall, followed by the rest of the world.

Tanks and helicopters fired their payloads at X, showering his armored hide with fire, but the Xilien pawn was unaffected, simply stomping the tanks while swiping the choppers out of the sky. He chuckled in amusement. This was too easy. Although he enjoyed a quick, merciless romp of destruction, he did long for a good fight. Perhaps he would attack the home of that accursed king, the one who had beaten him before. . .

The alien's thoughts were interrupted when a boulder struck his head from behind, almost toppling him over from sheer shock. Whipping around quickly, Monster X scanned the burning metropolis to find whatever dared to challenge him. Unfortunately, the thick smoke that permeated made it hard for the conqueror to locate his attacker. So, he simply stood motionless, his six eyes looking for any signs of movement. After a full minute, Monster X’s patience finally paid off as another chunk of rock hurdled toward him. Pulling a fist back, X sent it flying at the rock, instantly smashing it with a single punch. From the direction from which the boulder came, the alien got a good look at his attacker, and he was stunned, to say the least.

Like Monster X, the creature shared a humanoid shape, but unlike the alien, bore a heavy resemblance to the people that tread below. Brown, rocky fur decorated his body as its face contorted into a snarl. Although it had seen the aliens' immense power, it stood unafraid, ready to fight to avenge all those that it had killed.
With a booming roar, Sanda was ready to fight.

Now that this bad boy is officially accepted for K.W.C., I figured I'd drop a trailer here! I'll keep a little bit of suspense and not reveal all the combatants, but this is a 3 on 1.
Spoiler:
“Revenge, compassion, pride, and duty. These ingredients are present in the strongest storms. Revenge against the land which had previously contained the now furious water. Compassion in the form of life-giving rains. Pride in being the strongest force in all of the land. Duty in the yearly advances as dictated by the great fire in the sky. The greatest of all storms will one day wield each of these traits in equal measure. It is this storm which will herald the return of the godslayer to these lands. With fury and might he will defend these lands against all challengers, be they gods, animals, or dark beasts.” – Paleolithic Appalachian Folklore

***

The trees leaned and jerked violently, threatening to topple in the unyielding winds. The great hurricane had made landfall many hours ago, but its power had barely diminished as it pressed inland. As was so often the case with these eastern North American storms, local peoples were forced to take shelter lest they risk injury and death as ancient trees splintered and collapsed in the squall. This storm was different though, made unique by the waiting trio of towering figures that had arrived just before the winds picked up.

A young man named Kahlo held his little sisters’ hand and repeated the story he’d been telling her. “Don’t worry, the guardian of the mountains will appear to make them go away. I’m sure of it!” Despite his efforts to calm her, the little girl cried even louder in response. Other tribe members occupying the rock shelter shook their heads in frustration. Storms happened every year, and none should cry in fear after their third year. The noise was aggravating, but no one was willing to risk venturing outside and infuriating the three gods that were towering over the mountains to escape it. Especially when the guardian was said to burst from the heart of the mountains themselves in times of need.

“Look over there, that must be him!” The young man pointed to a nearby peak as boulders and uprooted trees began to cascade down the forested slope. The ground heaved and stony cliffs split open in a deafening cacophony. A terrible roar added to the noise within the cave, ushering screams of pain and terror as the sounds threatened to burst eardrums and shake the structure apart. “It’s him. See sister, I told you! It’s the godslayer come to save us!” Kahlo was jumping up and down with anticipation, despite his words sounding muffled and distant to his own ears. Despite his role in protecting his sister, the man was still too young to fully appreciate the severity of the situation. Hushed murmurs and conversations eventually broke out as hearing returned in stages. A towering presence rose from the crumbling remains of what the people had for so long called Elkshot peak. Striking white armor and red flesh were visible, even through the pounding sheets of rain. Large projections from the kaiju’s shoulders and a distinctive three-horned head confirmed Kahlo’s excited words. “The godslayer is here. It’s the guardian. It’s Bagan!”

***

Bagan let loose a furious roar that disturbed even the hurricane winds which lashed around the gathered monsters. The oceanic maelstrom may have served to help awaken him from his slumber, but it was the interlopers’ presence that he was here to correct. These forests and these mountains were his territory, even if the beings who had set him to the task of conquering and holding them were long gone. Their arrogance had caused the once called “Guardian of the Mountains” to end their puny species, and these three gathered foes would be no different. It did not matter which manner of beast or being stepped forth into his land. All were slain like the animals they were, and animals is exactly how Bagan saw each of his foes that had gathering waiting for his arrival.

The first was none other than Godzilla. His hulking frame blended into the mountains that stretched out around them, and parts of his body were shrouded as storm clouds were thrown over the rocky peaks in the gale. When Bagan had erupted from the ground, Godzilla’s clawed hands clenched, and his dorsal spines repeatedly crackled with blue light. A deep, threatening growl emanated from the amphibious monster as he bared his teeth in challenge to the demonic dragon before him. His eyes did not leave Bagan’s, nor did they blink. The white kaiju thought this challenger familiar, but couldn’t place how. Despite this, Godzilla’s body language was as plain as the fact that these lands belonged to Bagan. He was here not to fight, but to kill.

Ooh, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with these two, and who the third is! the humanoid monsters have so much freedom to do crazy stuff, and I like the start of this one!

Second (and last) trailer for Monster X vs. Sanda & ???? (???). I'm really wanting to go for a different approach with this match, so enjoy!
Spoiler:
Sanda waited for his opponent to charge, his fists never dropping. He thought back to his life when he was first “born”. Although his memories of the early stages of his life were limited, he did remember some things. He remembered one of his caretakers, a fine young gentleman, would frequently watch fights on tv. He would cheer along and sometimes even mimic the moves they did on the television. It was one of the few times Sanda recalled ever seeing him truly happy. The man would even sometimes have the young Sanda watch, and although he didn’t understand a thing that was going on, he also remembered some of what he saw. Perhaps he would put it to use here.

Monster X snarled in an attempt at provoking him, but Sanda merely stood motionless, glaring back with equal ferocity. The alien growled in annoyance. Fine, if his opponent wouldn’t take the bait, then he would stop wasting time. Charging forward, Monster X prepared to rip the Gargantua to shreds. Sanda’s eyes kept track of the alien like a hawk, never blinking or even moving. Sanda’s fists clenched hard enough that they began sweating as the Xilien warrior neared ever closer.

Just as Monster X reached him, Sanda threw what resembled a haymaker at the conqueror, forcing his charge to stop. Monster X’s head snapped to the right as he stood for a moment, simply stunned. Rage soon replaced surprise as the alien furiously swiped at Sanda’s head, but with hardly any effort, he ducked under the blow, countering with an uppercut that staggered Monster X. He then followed up with a devastating gut punch in a less armored part of his torso, winding Monster X and actually forcing him to give ground.

Now truly angered, Monster X jumped and spun around, his whip-like tail smacking into Sanda’s head before following suit with his hand, a small trickle of blood being forced out of the brown behemoth's mouth as he fell to the ground. Taking a moment to wipe the blood from his jaw, Sanda only had a second to react as Monster X lunged forward, intent on shattering his pelvis. Sanda slightly crawled backwards and spread his legs as Monster X’s fist smashed into the ground between his feet. Grinning, Sanda then proceeded to lock the other-worldly beings' appendage in a vice-grip in between his legs and, with extreme effort, pushed Monster X off and over him, sending the alien skidding on his front. As Sanda recuperated, he rushed the disoriented tyrant, hoping to capitalize on his state.

Unfortunately for the hero, Monster X wasn’t as distracted as he thought. As Sanda attempted to grab his lengthy tail, Monster X lashed out with a double kick, rewarding him with a loud snap that echoed through the destroyed metropolis as Sanda was sent flying backwards. Landing on the ground with a loud THUD, Sanda coughed as he felt a rib snap in two.

Pretty hyped for your match, Dunkeeni.

But here's the trailer for my match:
Spoiler:
“Do you understand what this means, Gojira?” spoke a figure in the distance, a small human walked up to theTitan who stood in complete darkness.

Ishiro Serizawa stood beside the larger Titan, normally, his voice would barely even be heard or understood, but Godzilla heard every word of the person who took his own life to save the alpha’s, despite not knowing what he was saying.

“You must not fail, you must make the decision to make your last stand defending humanity, or dying as the one responsible for the world’s destruction, you must make your decision, and quickly!” claimed Serizawa. “I may not be alive, or maybe even actually speaking to you, but I do know this, I was right to believe in you, save the Earth, do what you do best, old friend!” and Serizawa vanished.

Godzilla had no clue what had happened, all he knew about the man’s speech was the urgency, as he stood in the darkness.

Ooh, is this a flashback or a vision Goji is having in his head? Either way, I'm hyped
