So this kind of thing but with the drill top on the edge and the main drill on the wrist so when they're folded it's the classic drill hand.

Yet another FANTASTIC semi mystical take on a classic Toho character. I love the idea of a monster that's born out of resentment for other monsters and is going out of it's way to kill kaiju. So good.

Added in 1 hour 4 minutes 34 seconds:
Jet Jaguar

Height: 7 meters

Weight: 80 tons.

Design: The Prototype Jet Jaguar from SP but with the classic color scheme.

History: Goro Ibuki was an optimist above everything else.

Home is destroyed by a kaiju? Wasn't for us anyway, let's move to Hokkaido!

You got dumped? Relationship wasn't working anyhow.

Lose all your funds on a failed invention? Everyone has to humble themselves eventually. Let me see what the factory is doing for hire.

Over all though, he was a man who was confident in the ability of faith to beat all out. That with the right tools and a belief in one's self, we could look ANYTHING in the eye and beat it.

That's how he started the JJ project.

Initially, it was a gift for his nephew, a realization of his imaginary hero. But then Goro thought of how much it would help if humankind had a protector that was kind, small enough to help but big enough to protect, not a war machine like that dreadful Kiryu, but a defensive sentinel.

With the aid of his friends at the Otaki Factory (especially his long suffering protégé Yun Arikawa), Goro built Jet Jaguar: a mecha made of light steel and a simple code. It wasn't meant to be on the frontline. Just a sign of hope for the people. At a local festival, Goro revealed him. With a special AI for the kids to play around with it, he was sure it'd be a hit.

Just as Yun was finishing up, there was a glitch. Some kind of....red code.

Ah well. Couldn't end badly could it?

Goro felt hesitant for the first time in years when Jet Jaguar suddenly shot up and then ran (not the hobbling stomps they tested out of the factory, no, full on SPRINTING like a Olympian marathoner) for the middle of the festival.

He couldn't believe he'd look back on it fondly.

Abilities:

Speed: Jet Jaguar shows incredible speed with his high power pistons and light frame. Not only can he move at Mach 0.02, but he can easily weave around in a fight.

Flash of Justice: Jet Jaguar's eyes contain advanced floodlights made to illuminate dark areas and "inspire those who see his gaze upon them!" They also are quite a help in blinding a foe.

Monster Grappler: A pressurized harpoon system is contained in Jet Jaguar's right hand. When working as intended, it is designed to impale a foe and allow it to be dragged in for Jet to restrain non-lethally. However, it is also QUITE useful in putting through a kaiju foe brain.

Guardian Of The Sky Mode: WIP. Update later - Y.

Claws: Jet Jaguar has an intense PSI controlled grip within his hands. When used, it means Jet Jaguar can grip weapons, body parts and other things when fighting. What's more, it's also just dexterous enough for JJ to be able to pull off some complicated hand moves.

Fire Extinguisher: Two jets in Jet's shoulders can spray out jets of nitrous oxide based foam to fight fires. With some modifications, this foam can also freeze or create a glue like substance.

Servum

First Iteration: Height of 10 meters, wingspan of 20.

Second Iteration: Height of 5 meters, wingspan of 12.

Appearance:

First iteration: Almost identical to the ones seen in Planet of Monsters but with a second pair of wings and a black coloration.

Second Iteration: Same heads and texture but now brown and lither. (Combine Servum with the "Pterodactyl" from the G14 concept art. )

History: Goro and Yun chased down Jet to the center of the festival. The great robot had miraculously not crushed anyone under foot when he arrived and was simply looking around, almost as if it was searching. Yun began to panic as he tried to reconnect with the machine but only gained feedback and binary code that flashed too fast to attempt to translate.

And then the screaming began.

On the other half of the fairway, something....MONSTORUS was smashing through the grounds. Both seemingly intentionally lashing out at anything that caught it's attention and stumbling like it was half-formed. Eventually, it spread four mighty wings and attempted to take flight...at which point, JJ suddenly moved, running forward and grabbing it by the legs to pull it to the ground.

Enraged, the beast and Jet Jaguar began to fight. A chaotic melee that tore through the surrounding tents and prayer circles..but the robot did it's best to avoid casualties. After almost 40 minutes of conflict, the beast suddenly shrieked and attempted to fly off, climbing higher and higher into the sky, before suddenly letting out a mournful wail and crashing back to the Earth, dead. Jet Jaguar stood there for a minute, sparking and blackened, before sparks flew around it's head...and it finished the dance animation Yun had told him to do just before the glitch.

Something was seriously wrong. Goro and Yun, with the aid of a bemused Mr. Otaki ("Robot provided some good business. Let's hope there's more of those damn birds, probably are with those damn aliens and Hollow Earth people and..." [other conspiracies of Mr. Otaki blocked for reader's well being) and Haberu as they scrub it's code. They don't find much, only vague references to something called the M11 Program and nothing else. For all intents and purposes, it seems some kind of...super advanced AI took over the machine, though how it was uploaded is a mystery to everyone. Meanwhile, more and more of these creatures are found around the world. Mei Kamino (local physicist/kaijuologist, please don't ask about the Gabara incident, cute AI dog [thanks Yun]) deduces the creatures resemble the "slave tengu" in local legends of a Divine Corruptor, giving them the name Servum.

10/11/XXXX.

Jet comes back online. As the team BARELY restrains it, Yun attempts to speak to the machine through the control panel but only gets a repeat message in binary. Eventually, they answer it.

THEY ARE COMING.

Alarms soon reach their ears. A swarm of smaller blue Servum are heading for the city, spreading a strange dust as they move, and attacking everything they come across. Realizing there's nothing else they can do, the Otaki Factory frees JJ and join him with G-Force units BARELY injuring the monsters. With JJ's help and a retrofitted signal based on the original cries concentrating them in the outskirts of the city, they succeed at driving the swarm off....but they drop dead too. Before JJ does defunct again, another message is received by Yun.

I AM HERE TO HELP. WE NEED TO STOP IT. THE DISASTER IS COMING.

The Bering Sea. A Russian sub sends out a panicked message about their ship being attacked at the same time a beacon of their destruction goes off. Rescue teams find no sub, just a spreading sea of red......

Abilities:

Flight: Servum are not graceful creatures but they can achieve a ugly flight. The second iteration are much more graceful, able to move at up to Mach 1.

Durability: SOMETHING about the Servum's biology makes them immune to most forms of weaponry. Footage seems to show their skin shifting around bullets, as well as them getting more angry at hits. Armor piercing rounds and energy weapons are recommended. That or a kaiju, as they're one of the few beings strong enough to HARM these things.

The Corruption: Servum spread a strange dust as they fly. It is flaky but dense, almost like snow mixed with sand, and has a unnaturally black color. Studies have shown a strange toxic event when exposed to lifeforms (almost no systems but deadly if untreated) so quarantines are being put in effect where they attacked, as well as medical aid. Studies are still going into WHAT it is.....

Ravenous: Servum seem to be driven to feed. Electricity, metal, human, dog, tree, nothing is off their menu. What's more, it almost seems feeding hurts the creatures, as they are noted to wince and shudder when feeding. It is unclear what causes this but be warned, this makes them unpredictable and DEADLY.

Zilla

Height: 90 meters (Fully Upright), 60 meters (Standard Posture)
Weight: 50,000 tons

Origins
After Yog’s defeat at the hands of the Yamato Guardians, it rethought its strategies and beliefs. Its hatred still remained, but it desired a change in course. An army was fruitless against the might of a supremely powerful individual. It looked towards the objects of its jealousy, and saw how they all had an entire species to draw from when their body was destroyed, a harmonious existence. A great difference between its hostile takeover and mutilation into mutation. It needed a host species, kaiju of its own to empower as opposed to seizing normal animals and forcing them into giants.

Nothing appealed to Yog as it surveyed the world, so it decided to once again break nature down and build it up to its advantage. It discovered an aesexually reproducing reptile, a lizard that was perfect for its needs. The same process of graphic mutation began, but not as gruesome. Slow but sure to avoid ripping the poor creature apart, but gradually over the course of days, a creature the size of an Iguana became a nightmarish colossus. It sought the likeness of the mightiest spirit, the one embodying destruction, and crafted its host in the shape of Godzilla. And its offspring, the hundreds of them, were just like it. Zilla was born, a twisted parody.

Yog only controls one member of the species at a time, letting the rest of the voracious predators do as they please. Although Zillas are far from the deadliest kaiju on their own, no other kaiju is so relentlessly pursued by the governments of the world and thoroughly exterminated whenever the opportunity presents itself. Each member of the species reproduces on its own just as the progenitor did, laying hundreds of eggs at a time. With high metabolisms even for their great size, this could easily result in a scenario where the planet is overrun and a mass extinction event occurs as they devour most life on Earth. This likely would have already happened were it not for the hatred kaiju share for them as well, assaulting them on sight.

The host of the spirit is just as reviled, but for different reasons. It proclaims itself guardian through a cult that follows it everywhere it goes, ostensibly scientists who have been brainwashed by the false lord. Despite being outlaws in every nation in the world, they evade capture and continue spreading their gospel. It is believed that the leader was doused in the fluid from a Zilla egg hatching, Yog having taken over the creature in its embryonic state, thus leading to his subservience.

“Yogzilla” itself, as some have taken to derisively calling it due to a lack of a proper name, travels the world fighting threats to humanity. Unfortunately, its definition of threat is vague and its methods are overly harsh and destructive, a rogue Baranosdragon being torched alongside half a city in the process. And just like with the Yamato Guardians, when this individual is killed, Yog simply finds another host, his cult somehow always knowing where to find the pretender king.

Physical Appearance
Standard Zillas are lizard-like theropods, typically walking in a crouched posture so low that they can walk on their gigantic forelimbs while barely dipping. Their skin is dark-green and covered in scales, that color broken only by their white claws and back spines. Said dorsal plates are simple and triangular, ending in a sharp point. This line of spines goes all the way down the lengthy tail, terminating in a small bundle of spikes at the end of the tail, a pathetic imitation of Godzilla’s own tail club. A Zilla’s head is lengthy like a crocodile’s, ending in a flat snout. Yellow eyes with orange pupils see the world, sensitive to heat signatures.

When Yog controls a Zilla, there are notable changes. The yellow eyes become white, the pupils being removed entirely to leave hollow spheres. The spines upon its back and tail change color, looking as though they have been dipped into a rainbow-colored oil slick, an attempt to replicate Godzilla’s stained-glass resembling spines. The dark-green of its scales and skin become dark grey.

Personality
Due to Yog’s reckless tampering with their bodies, Zillas are hungry far more often than a creature of their size reasonably should be. This leads to them stripping ecosystems bare, most often fish populations due to piscenes being their preferred food. This appetite slows down enough to be bearable whenever they give birth, however this only leads to greater issue as Zillas are fiercely protective of their broods, to the point of risking their own lives to let the hundreds of eggs survive.

Yog’s own vessel only displays its personality, amplified and worsened by the perceived victory of its accomplishments. Whether it understands how it has become the very kind of guardian who were responsible for its birth, or if it does understand and simply does not care, is unknown.

Powers
Fire Breath: Zillas can release a stream of flammable gas from their maws, which they can ignite with an organ located in their throat to turn it into a powerful geyser of flame. Entire cities have been wiped off the map by hundreds of them unleashing these fumes all at once, filling the area, and one choosing to ignite.

Yog’s vessel fills this stream with potent radiation and increases the temperature of the flames considerably, leading to a green stream of desolation.

Aesexual Reproduction: Zillas are capable of reproducing without a mate, laying a clutch of eggs once they reach physical maturity, a process that only takes about a month after birth. These clutches can contain hundreds of eggs, each one with the capability to continue this cycle. A Zilla surviving more than a year is rare, however reports suggest that those that do will lay another clutch of eggs at that point, leading to a hypothesis that a Zilla that could last even longer would continue to do so every year.

Burrowing: Bulky claws on their forelimbs allow the kaiju pests to dig through most materials swiftly and with great ease, often doing so to avoid danger and to build nests that cannot be as easily discovered.

Agility: Zillas are some of the most agile kaiju on record, capable of scaling buildings and leaping between them with the ease of a chimp in the trees.

Exclusive to Yog’s Vessel
Spine Bursts: From the false king’s spines, bolts of multi-colored energy can be fired. They explode upon contact, having the power to level buildings and punch craters into opposing kaiju. Using these too much can cause the spines to break apart in a violent detonation.

Self Repair: Yog can force its warrior’s wounds shut, sewing them back together with the beast’s own sinew.

Spirit Physiology: All the benefits of Yog’s existence apply here. Supernaturally enhanced senses, the ability for the spirit to leave the destroyed body and find a new one, and even the ability to control other creatures for a brief time. Yog also seems to have gained the ability to control humans based on its cult, with the current leading hypothesis being that just mind control is in effect, not direct possession.

Gathering Call: The false god can call upon its fellow Zillas, commanding them and making them gather from hundreds of miles around.

The idea of Zilla being a spawn of Yog is amazingly creative and original—and what a threat Yog turned it into!

Yet another great addition to your collection. :D

So making the Gezora one inspired me a bit to make some other monster ideas, this one unrelated to my elemental kaiju idea, but based more on viruses and pathogens mutating creatures. So to start, here is Ghidorah and Godzilla.

Ghidorah: Monster Zero, The Forebearer

Height: 100 meters

Weight: 60,000 tons

Origins: In the late 1970s, the United States discovered a mysterious pyramid inside one of the moon’s Craters. Entering, the astronauts on the mission discovered a vast cavernous hole, coated with dust. Within the pyramid’s depths was found a large deceased dragon like creature, golden in appearance with a trio of viscous long necked heads scattered slings the crater. The discovery of an alien lifeform, a massive one at that, prompted the government to set up a research facility to study the creature and if there were potential for others of its likeness. The creature appeared to be in a state of suspended animation, with its vitals still seeming to function slowly despite what seems to be a missing head. A study of the creature’s blood soon led to the discovery of an unidentified alien viral strain, one that mutated their hosts depending on their species and creating a major outbreak of what would later be known as Kaiju around the earth when several mutated samples that were being tested on were unleashed during a facility’s destruction. As a response to the virus, came the creation of an organization to study and destroy Various substrains that have escaped into earth’s ecosystem. This organization would become known as Crisis Control Intelligence, functioning on earth as a pharmaceutical corporation studying dangerous plagues and viruses while researching ways to combat dangerous threats and outbreaks. This virus was soon labeled as the Gilded Seed, for its potential to either enhance its host's body or kill them if incompatible, as well as its ability to manipulate itself into new pathogens to create new strains. The Gilded Seed Virus within Monster Zero has no cure, though the experimental substrains mutated by earthen biology have some forms of vaccination. Some fear what would happen if the monster were to awaken, or what would happen if the true Gilded Virus were to spread on earth unhinged. Translated glyphs in the temple refer to the beast as “Ghidorah”, but government officials have labeled it “Monster Zero”, as the Origin of all monsters spawned by Gilded Seed Variants on earth. There is some fear should another of this creature reach the Earth, and what its effects would be on the populace.

Physical Description: Ghidorah is a massive alien lifeform in the shape of a three headed wyvern with two long tails. Its golden scales seem to be natural electrical conductors, and it it’s assumed that the creature utilized electricity in some form of attack. The creature appears to have several scars across its body, the largest wound being the loss of its central head. Some presume the creature was meant to act as means of biological warfare between worlds due to the mutative virus known as “Gilded Seeds” found within its body. Many do not know if there are others like it elsewhere in the universe, nor who it was that built the pyramid above it.

Powers/Abilities:

Electrical Conductivity: Through study of the creature’s scales and samples of its flesh, it was soon revealed that the creature seems to have some form of bioelectrical physiology powering its body, allowing the creature to utilize electricity in its attacks. This is all Theoretical, however, as the creature has not awoken at all since its discovery, and appears to be in some form of coma.

Gilded Seed type Origin: After a deadly outbreak within the original research facility on the moon, it was discovered that the blood of the creature held an alien virus within itself. It is this Virus that makes people believe the creature was some sort of biological weapon meant to destroy planets with life, as those afflicted with the virus would either die horribly, or mutate into some form of abomination labeled as Kaiju. Out of the entire outbreak on the moon facility, there was found only one survivor of the Gilded Seed, their body having grown enhanced by the virus to survive living on the moon and enhancing the natural abilities of the host, with all other personnel dying from mutated bodymass and blood loss. With the discovery of this effect on human survivors, research into the virus began, spawning variants and substrains using earth borne contagions and animals in hopes of replicating the effects with less dangerous results. The virus seems to be able to spread through the air in small areas around infected blood samples but tends to die off quickly outside the blood.

Research of the virus on earth soon found it to be able to combine and overtake other forms of pathogenic life forms such as fungal infections or bacteria. It is presumed that the virus was meant to destroy and mutate inhabitants of a world and leave only the strongest lifeforms behind, for what purpose is unknown. Those who survived the virus’s effects and its variants would later become known as Mutants, and would be sought after to help fight off other mutations caused by substrains of the virus. During a disastrous outbreak at a facility studying substrains of the Gilded Seed, several substrains and test subjects were able to escape into the wild, infecting other animals and mutating them into massive organisms similar in size to Monster Zero.

Godzilla: G-Variant: Calamity

Height: 1.5 - 80 meters

Weight: 450 kg - 45,000 tons

Origin/Physical Description: Gilded Seed Varient 54: Subject Gojira, aka G-Variant: Calamity.

Subject Gojira has become THE most deadly mutation formed by the Gilded Seed Virus on Earth. Unlike many other Kaiju, the mutation known as Gojira, or Godzilla by the English-speaking populace, seems to contain one of the purest variants of the Gilded Seed compared to the original. The virus within its body appears to tear through the walls and membranes of organic cells, making the infected begin acting erratically and violently in order to spread their infection, as their bodies begin to break down slowly over the course of days. The end result is piles of dissolved organic tissue and clouds of “infectious smog” that will remain for several days unless dealt with by specialized CCI Clean Up Crews, or if Subject Gojira returns to devour it. The resulting effects of Calamity have the masses calling it “The Devil’s Kiss” and “Type Calamity” by CCI Researchers. The virus is spread through both blood and airborne water particles, hence the infectious smog left behind by the rotting corpses of the infected. The results of infection by G-Variant: Calamity is almost always death, with very little surviving even after mutation into monster form, and no currently known survivors who have adapted into a Mutant.

Type Calamity was formed through infecting species of Marine Monitor Lizards to the pure strain of Gilded Seed. The resulting test subjects were quickly killed by their infections, with a few mutating violently before dying. Generations of these reptiles were experimented on and exposed to prior infected individuals, with many specimens dying, until one day the virus mutated within a female specimen. Unbeknownst to the researchers, the reptile was pregnant with eggs at the time, and while it did inevitably fall to the virus’s deadly nature, one egg survived the process and adapted to the mutated virus.

The research of Subject Gojira as it was called, was slow at first, with the infantile creature seemingly not eating any of the food provided. It was discovered soon after that Gojira did not feed like other organisms, but instead utilized the virus in its body to decompose its meals through a concentrated “breath” containing violent strains of Type Calamity, acting as a form of predigestion. The creature would later return to absorb the fluids, flesh, and smog left behind and gathered by its virus using tentacles that seem to be made of blood or muscle alongside its mouth. Careful study of blood and skin samples has shown that the mutated virus within its body has formed a symbiotic bond with the host, presumably due to having mutated within its embryo and freely shaping it to its own design. As a result of this infectious symbiosis, it appears Subject Gojira is sterile and unable to reproduce, unlike some other varients.

As it grew, researchers began to study the mutated virus within its body, finding it particularly aggressive to other organic lifeforms and being highly contagious and deadly due to its nature of digesting infected alive, while causing them to trigger mutations that caused sharpened nails and claws and high aggression. Subject Gojira began to grow in size quickly, growing to the size of a tiger within a few years. The mutative nature of its virus began to shift the shape of the creature’s body, transforming the reptile from simply a quadrupedal reptile into a bipedal one, gaining traits similar to various dinosaur species such as large dorsal spines along its back and a skeletal structure similar to various carnivorous dinosaurs such as the tyrannosaurus.

It is quite unfortunate that the research of this dangerous individual ended the way it did when various other mutations breached their containment, destroying the facility holding Gojira and releasing him into the wild. It wasn’t until 1989 that Gojira was spotted again, but by that point the creature had grown to it’s adult size and was no longer able to be contained. A series of missing nuclear submarines called the CCI into action, upon which they quickly discovered traces of Calamity among the wreckages. When it finally showed itself to the world, the creature was almost 80 meters in height, and had mutated further in it’s body structure, growing more muscle mass and an amphibious scaled hide that allowed the creature to exude and absorb the smog caused by Calamity. It had chased in injured mutation onto the shoreline of Japan, quickly proving it’s superiority over the other mutations that were spreading around the world and killing the beast. It would return later during the cleanup by the CCI to devour the corpse, killing many in it’s path of destruction. With each mutation it devours, it seems Gojira becomes stronger, almost as though it were seeking out more power.

Areas infected with G-Varient: Calamity must be burned and purged quickly to prevent widespread infection of the virus, sometimes ending in nuclear bombardment as a last resort. Any individual who has breathed in air from infected zones must be quarantined to prevent the further spread of the epidemic. It is unknown if any individual has survived exposure to the Calamity Variant, or what enhanced traits might be gained by such an individual.

Personality: Subject Gojira seems to act passive at first glance but seems to actually be watching its surroundings closely. It appears to act like an apex predator at times, stalking prey for opportune moments of attack and searching for ways to take down prey. Otherwise, it tends to head towards large seaside population centers to cultivate a feeding zone for itself. An odd mutation in the creature’s body has allowed it to absorb and generate nuclear energy, often aiming for nuclear fuel to subsist if it cannot find prey to create a feeding zone. It appears that Godzilla continues to hunt down other monsters even if it does not need to feed, as though it is seeking out more power for some reason. Only the future may tell what that power is needed for.

Powers/Abilities:

” Atomic/Viral Breath”: The main form of attack of Gojira, acting as both a destructive heat ray that rips into enemies and a form of predigestion by infecting individuals with the calamity virus inside of the destructive purple stream. The use of this attack is prompted by an eerie blue glow of the monster’s dorsal spines, with empowered forms of the viral breath becoming blue as nuclear energy is put into the attack.

Calamity Virus: Within Godzilla’s body lies the mutant strain of the Gilded Seed known as Calamity. Infected individuals, from humans to animals, will enter a violent rage as the virus begins to decompose and digest their bodies for Godzilla to absorb. The virus tends to seep out of his body through his pores as an infectious fog while on land, but does not seem to spread through water, remaining only a bloodborne and airborne virus.

Regeneration: The Calamity Virus provides Godzilla with a form of regenerative ability, adapted from some reptilian’s ability to regenerate tails, allowing the creature to regenerate limbs and stitch together its wounds and injuries.

Adaptation: Subject Gojira seems to adapt using its calamity virus, absorbing genetic information from digested prey and gaining power and traits from them. It appears that Gojira has assimilated other viral variants of the Golden Seed virus into its body, giving it some immunity to other mutations viruses and adapting some of their strengths into itself. Due to this adaptivity of its body, it has gained increased strength, durability, and power.

Blood Tentacles: From its back, Godzilla can burst forth appendages of muscle and blood, allowing him to grasp large objects and deflect attacks. These appendages can be used to help move Godzilla around, and are utilized to help absorb the puddles of digested prey left behind by his attacks.

Nuclear Absorption: Due to a mutation within his body, Godzilla has adapted to absorb and utilize Nuclear energy in his body and in attacks, making him even more dangerous. He only goes after nuclear energy in dire situations when his feeding grounds prove to be unable to satisfy him.
A reminder to watch Chouseishin Gransazers.

Jet Jaguar

Height
Jet Jaguar: 2 meters
Red Alone: 85 meters

Weight
Jet Jaguar: 400 kilograms
Red Alone: 45,000 tons

Origins
Jet Jaguar, the hero of the world! He’ll protect the human race from all sorts of things plotting in the dark! As long as he’s around, backed by Pacific Pharmaceuticals, the day will always be saved!

This was the narration at the end of every episode of “Jet Jaguar!”, a tokusatsu TV show funded by Pacific Pharmaceuticals, starring the titular character. The show itself, which ran for 90 episodes in the early 70s, had a complex backstory involving aliens and an inventor desperately trying to make himself known in the world, who succeeds in creating a robot thanks to Pacific Pharmaceuticals’ “Brain Boosting Tablets” (recalled in the real world halfway through the show's run, due to only giving people diarrhea instead of increasing intellect). But the actual story of Jet Jaguar is not quite so fanciful, but no less interesting.

Yoshio Tako, the founder of Pacific Pharmaceuticals and its CEO for its three decades in business, was an eccentric man. When the company’s stocks began to drop, he firmly believed that what they needed was a TV show advertising them. To his board of directors’ consternation, he had a qualification to this. It would be a superhero show, but they would not have an actor playing the titular role. An actor is flawed, and could get into some kind of scandal and crush the dreams of children and damage the company’s reputation. No, an animatronic needed to be the lead of their show, the figurehead of their entire company.

He called up an old friend of his, Goro Itaki, and asked for his help. Mr. Itaki was a mechanical expert, and in exchange for compensation he built much more than a simple animatronic. He built a robot, with a bonafide artificial intelligence controlling it. Jet Jaguar was born, and Mr. Tako was absolutely ecstatic. Filming began almost immediately, low budget episodes that blended into the flocks of similar shows at the time, but still made enough money to be worth it.

A simple show with a formulaic plot of generic characters being attacked by monsters so cheaply designed you could see the zippers on the costumes, then Jet would arrive and clumsily fight them for a few minutes. There’d be blatant advertising for Pacific Pharmaceuticals, often the day being saved due to someone making sure to use their products and that giving them the capability to help Jet Jaguar. However, a change occurred about 30 episodes in, due to real life events that drastically affected things.

During a live tour where people could meet Jet Jaguar in person, there was a terrorist attack. Unrelated to the TV star’s appearance, merely a coincidence that would have far reaching consequences. The robot, so used to being called a hero, tried to save people from the assault. But, he could not. He moved too stiffly, fought too amateurishly and sluggishly, and as he soon discovered, was not exactly made of durable metals. He failed to save anyone, dozens of people being killed in the chaos of gunfire and explosions. His own body was riddled with bullet holes, leaving him barely able to move due to internal damages.

The show was on hiatus for months, even after Jet’s repairs, due to the deep depression he found himself in. He was supposed to be a hero, it was what he was built for, but when true danger arose he was useless. Mr. Tako brought Goro in to talk with his creation, in the hopes he would know what to say to get the company’s mascot back in action. Goro’s speech about how Jet Jaguar was not built to be the kind of hero he thought he was, how his heroism was more indirect, spurred the machine on, but in a completely different direction. Pushing pills and earning money didn’t save those people when true danger arose, they needed a hero like what Jet Jaguar was proclaimed to be the masses.

So, he began to alter himself. His AI was advanced enough to be able to work upon his own machinery, increasing functionality and flexibility. He downloaded into himself the knowledge of actual martial arts, multiple disciplines. Pacific Pharmaceuticals, to Mr. Tako and Goro Itaki’s chagrin, attempted to make him stop. The two men knew that this was the right course for him, but the corporation did not. Fortunately, Jet Jaguar won the resulting court case when it fell in favor of him having an advanced enough mind to no longer qualify as property, but as a living being.

The show returned, and immediately those who tuned in saw an entirely different program. The characters were far better written, the plots had actual depth to them, the monsters looked far better and carried a sense of menace, and the action was far more intense and thrilling. Ratings skyrocketed, leaving the scores of other Toku shows in the dust as peopled tuned in every week to witness the engaging storylines developing. Jet Jaguar had also taken to studying much more than combat, helping the cast and crew of the show to learn how to become better at their craft. It even moved outside of Japan, becoming an international success.

Another live tour was not met with a terrorist attack like last time, but the world still saw a very different Jet Jaguar when he stopped a bank robbery a few streets over with ease, not a single person being hurt in the process.

Pacific Pharmaceuticals’ stocks were in the clouds, and Goro Itaki was soon recognized as one of the greatest inventors of the modern day. But Jet Jaguar was not satisfied just yet, for there was still a threat he could not tackle that still made itself blatant.

Kaiju.

The recent attack of Gigan, Megalon, and Manda had left much of Japan devastated. Thousands were dead and millions were injured, vast stretches of city left ruined by the destructive assaults. Jet Jaguar had been out in Tokyo on the day of the initial assault, powerless to do anything but try and save as many people as he could. He wanted to do more, to be able to truly protect.

So, he ended his series, after 90 episodes. And decided to culminate it all with a movie, a wrapping up of the story told within those many tales. It was a risky endeavor, being one of the most expensive movies made yet at the time. But it paid off, becoming the highest grossing movie in the world for many years, and in fact still is when adjusting for inflation.

Jet Jaguar took most of these immense profits (making sure to provide everyone involved in the movie a good enough paycheck first), and used them to build a gigantic robot, suitable for fighting kaiju. His creator had always been a fan of samurai movies, so Jet Jaguar saw only one thing fit to pattern his anti-kaiju weapon after. Red Alone has saved millions over the years with its might, and will continue to do so until Jet can no longer function. The GDF has essentially made him a part of their organization because of this, providing him the resources needed to repair damages to Red Alone when needed, and often seeking his aid and advice with their own projects.

Physical Description
When Jet Jaguar was first built, he resembled a cheap rubber suit. A mostly white body with blue and gold accents shoddily painted on, the humanoid machine was overly bulky for his thin frame, leaving his movement stilted. The metal that made up his form was not well forged, leaving it looking bumpy in most spots, like padding. Black, permanently open eyes and a grid in the shape of a mouth in a permanent smile was all that made up his face. His head had a gigantic point on it, that often smacked into door frames.

By the time his upgrades were finished, Jet Jaguar’s body had become far sleaker. Still bulky, but more like an athlete’s body instead of what it had been before. His range of motion was immensely improved, almost more mobile than a human. Smaller eyes that could now close and shine bright blue allowed him to see things no human could. The blue and gold accents on his form were now built into the metal, forming patterns like an elaborate costume. His mouth has been changed, still being just a speaker, but with machinery allowing the expression of the mouth to change or even just close. The point upon his head was shortened to a reasonable length. Glowing circles on his hands and feet are present, capable of producing thrust to either propel himself or be used as weaponry.

Red Alone resembles Jet Jaguar, yet with a bulkier body. Instead of blue and gold accents, Red Alone has red accents, making it resemble a samurai. The resemblance continues with the accessories upon its head, making it look like a samurai’s helmet. Crimson panels on its back fold out to form wings whenever needed, aiding in guided flight and acting to gather solar energy. A gigantic panel on its chest can open to reveal a glass sphere with machinery interlaced through it.

Personality
Initially, Jet lacked much personality. He did as he was told on the set of the show, then would return to his resting place and shut down until needed again. However, after the incident that changed his worldview, he began to think more, exercising the artificial intelligence inside him.

Now, Jet Jaguar is the hero he was born to be. A bastion of kindness, Jet Jaguar will fight to protect people’s lives and happiness with all he has to offer. No good deed is below him, nor is any task too daunting if it means protecting humanity. As well, Jet Jaguar has become immensely intelligent, studying in numerous different fields to improve himself as much as possible. He can win a game of chess against a world-class player with ease, and with the same ease as preforming an intricate martial arts move.

Powers
Jet Jaguar
Martial Arts Mastery: Jet Jaguar has mastered every form of martial arts invented by humans, most forms practiced by the various aliens that inhabit Earth alongside humanity, and has even invented a few of his own. In addition to his highly durable body, this makes him a brutal foe to go against for any humans, aliens, or non-kaiju monsters.

Weapons Mastery: In addition to his physical capabilities, Jet is capable of using just about any weapon with great effectiveness. Swords, axes, bows, guns, and even more esoteric weapons he has the skill to utilize like a soldier trained.

Flight: Jet Jaguar possesses limited flight thanks to the boosters in his hands and feet.

Remote Access: The robotic hero does not actually sit inside Red Alone when it is in access. Instead, he pilots it remotely, seeing through its eyes as he connects to it wirelessly. Jet is also capable of hacking into computers remotely thanks to this same wireless capability.

Sonic Communication: Instead of using words, Jet is able to release sonic calls that anyone, even non-humans, can understand as their language due to the specific frequency resonating with their eardrums in the specific way needed. This does require a brief time of calculation and data-gathering for new beings, usually Jet listening to them speak and scanning their ears as they do so.

He is also capable of screeching at incredibly high volumes to disorient foes and potentially burst their eardrums.

Booster Strike: Jet Jaguar’s boosters can be used offensively, a short range concussive burst capable of breaking bones.

Red Alone
Flight: Red Alone has the same boosters as Jet, only scaled up to fit its larger frame. The Booster Strike is also within Red’s capabilities.

Cryogenic Stream: From the ronin’s mouth can be released a stream of liquid nitrogen, freezing targets swiftly. Extended usage of this can lead to overheating, as this liquid nitrogen is taken from the cooling systems of Red Alone, so precise usage of this ability is applied.

Solar Sword: A colossal katana can extend from the right palm of the mecha, charged by solar energy to gain an immensely hot blade capable of cutting through the flesh of even highly durable kaiju.

Heart of Gold: The sphere in Red Alone’s chest can be used to fire a gargantuan, golden beam formed of solar power. Hundreds of thousands of degrees in temperature, this beam is only used as a last resort due to the damage it causes to both the surroundings and the Mecha itself. However, one shot is usually all it takes to win a fight.

Before anyone says “how did he get such advanced technology like computers and downloading stuff into himself in the 70s”, technology is way more advanced here in this setting than it is in the real world. Aliens like the Mysterians showing up and integrating themselves into society after their failed invasion, sped technological progression right the hell up.

Do... Do I smell Jet Jaguar/Red Ronin hybrid? That is friggin' brilliant, this whole idea is on another level. Making the small and giant forms two separate entities connected wirelessly is a really smart way to go about it, as well as giving a new spin on the two of 'em respectively. Stellar work, man! Bagan, Brother of Bakan
The End

G-Force Database (Last updated 4/4/2070)

Height: 190 metres.
Weight: 600,000 tons.
Status: Deceased (for now)
Spoiler:
Origin
: Deep in the cosmos, beyond light, there is but one place, and that is the Crypt of Bagan. A black void surrounds it, encompasses it, so much so that the crypt itself may as well not be there. It sits beyond everything, even beyond the three realms. We do not know what the Crypt itself looks like, beyond a vague description that we learnt of thanks to the encounter with Bakan. The entity left debris in it’s wake, describing what Bagan is, and what his crypt looks like. A black obelisk marks where Bagan rests. Sounds helpful in the void of the unknown, huh?

But this entry is not about the Crypt. This is about Bagan. Bagan is the older brother of Bakan, who we had the pleasure of meeting in person back in 2064. Bagan and Bakan are both said to be the spawn of a higher power which we can only assume is an entity briefly mentioned but revered in the Debris-Texts of Bakan, known as Nyarlethotep. These texts also mention that Bagan and his brother would go on crusades around the universe, slaughtering what little life they found with extreme prejudice. However, this changed as what the texts describe as a fate encounter occured. The two offspring of Nyarlethotep were ambushed by the original moths, which we can pinpoint as the ancestors of Mothra and Battra, and Bagan was gravely injured. Bakan would usher Bagan out into the the astral plane, but it wasn’t long until bad luck struck again, with King Ghidorah — yes, the same Ghidorah that plagues us — attacking the wounded Bagan, and dragging him out into the physical plane. Bagan and Ghidorah fought, before Bagan died of his wounds and sunk into the void, where his Crypt lay now.

Only the locked mind of King Ghidorah knows where the Crypt of Bagan actually is, but there is someone aiming to find out. Bakan mentioned many times how he wishes to revive his brother to get revenge on existence, and has such been searching for the Crypt for many thousands of years. The text also claims Bakan is the only one who can bring Bagan back. If Bagan is resurrected, this could end our reality as we perceive it.

We do not know further than that. The Debris-Texts of Bakan is a jumbled mess of information, and we are missing many key points and information. We are currently on high alert, with sufficient UN, NERV, GDF and JSDF protocols having been created, should Bakan ever find the Crypt.

Appearance: Bagan is said to be brown in colour, and appearing much bulkier and stockier than his brother. He’s said to have three horns adorning his head, two facing backwards and one long nasal horn appearing like a dagger jutting out. He’s said to have no skin, and described as being a composition of bones like titanium and muscles like leather. His torso is also said to be very muscular, giving no room for much agility. Bagan’s legs are like pillars, and his arms like grappling machinery. Claws tip each toe and finger, a mottled white and black colour. He sports wings on his back like Bakan, and as his brother, they do not serve a flying function. His tail, while long, is also very thick and his a sharp spike at the end. Bagan’s face is a jagged and uneven thing, with a crooked mouth filled with crooked teeth, and eyes two different colours, one a dark red and another a sickly yellow.

Once again, that is all we know.

Powers:

Diamond Storm: Bagan can summon a rain of blue energy from the sky to crash down on opponents.

Baganite Beam: Bagan can fire an azure beam from his mouth, which can travel at high speeds and can generate large kinetic forces and explosions with a fiery heat.

Flight: As with Bakan, it can be inferred his willpower is within a similar range as to allow him to fly.

That is all we know as of now. This page will be updated as further information is gathered, as we observe and decipher ruins across the globe from Bakan’s rampage, as well as engage with the Shobijin.

The incomplete entry for Bagan, Bakan’s brother! If you want to see Bakan, go to page 10.

Megaguirus

Length
Meganulon: 8 meters
Meganula: 12 meters
Larval Queen: 80 meters
Imago Queen: 120 meters
Megaguirus: 150 meters

Weight
Meganulon: 1 metric ton
Meganula: 750 kilograms
Larval Queen: 60,000 tons
Imago Queen: 45,000 tons
Megaguirus: 55,000 tons

Origins
In the year 1956, two years after humanity was reintroduced to the titans which roamed the world and the same year that we learned we are not alone in the universe, we learned monsters who were not giants also existed.

A small mining town in the Japanese countryside was struck with a string of grisly murders, blood stains and body parts left behind but no body at the crime scenes. It reached a point where a curfew was enacted and a mob took to the streets, determined to find what they believed to be a serial killer.

They were confronted by a gigantic insect, heavily armored and waiting for them with scythe-like limbs and hungry mandibles. A chaotic and gruesome battle ensued, the town filled with the sounds of gunfire and screams. It spilled into the depths of the mine, where they successfully killed the creature with a minecart full of explosives… unveiling a whole nest of the insects in the process.

And a pair of gigantic pterodactyls, who swiftly devoured the Meganulon and erupted from the mountain. Them, along with the Mysterian invasion which would soon commence, obscured the initial monster attack from public consciousness.

Eventually scientists were able to study the creatures, those still within the mine that escaped the chaos and other members of the species that soon began popping up around the world. Meganulon, and their imago form known as Meganula, were ancient insects believed to be about as old as the dinosaurs. Surviving within the series of tunnels deep under the ground sometimes called “the Hollow Earth”, they survived to the modern day, slowly making their way back up to the surface over the eons.

Though not the flashiest of events, these swarms appearing anywhere initiates a great upheaval and ruination of locals’ lives. Scouts arriving from under the ground and plucking away at nearby lifeforms, slowly getting worse until the winged Meganula arrive and initiate a brutal assault on anything they come across. This is only a prelude to the queen emerging, a colossus that commands the ancient insects and destroys everything in a several mile radius in order to create a gigantic hive. Reports of Meganulon are met with swift, decisive action to ensure that no chance of the skyscraper sized hive being formed remains. Once a hive is fully formed, the only option is either to deploy Mechagodzilla or to hope another kaiju (usually Rodan) arrives and assaults it.

However, while Meganula swarms have become accepted as a fact of life by most of the world, like earthquakes or hurricanes, there was one instance of this species that was far beyond the typical.

The incursion of the Futurians shook the world in multiple ways. However, one of those ways reared its ugly head quite a bit after the fact. At one point during the battle with Mecha-King Ghidorah, the cyborg opened its chest and unveiled a complex cannon, which fired an artificial singularity. It sailed past Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, dealing brutal damage to both as large portions of their body mass were ripped away and absorbed into it. Mecha-King Ghidorah’s own torso was badly disfigured by the projectile, and a colossal explosion shook the ground from miles away.

It took a week for anyone to explore the resulting crater, and it was a week too late as a swarm of strange Meganulon and Meganula immediately assaulted the crews. In the center of the crater was a husk of a larval queen, which in a matter of hours began to crack open as the Meganula gifted it the food they had obtained by injecting it directly inside the “corpse”.

From it emerged Megaguirus, a drastically mutated Meganula Queen. Whatever process occurred as she was dragged into the current time by the Dimension Tide caused her to become a horrific creature, far more so than a typical Meganula Queen. Immediately she began a campaign of destruction, her swarm accompanying her and devouring everything in their path.

Fire Rodan and Megaguirus’ battle was, for a long time, the most devastating battle between just two monsters. Starting somewhere in the north of Russia, the battle ended somewhere in North Africa, the two chasing each other across multiple nations and leaving chaos in their wake. Megaguirus, with her claws jammed into Rodan’s torso and her tail’s stinger draining his life essence, would have won were it not for Mothra’s timely arrival. She saved Rodan with a tail-severing shot of her eye beams and together the two destroyed Megaguirus before the battle could spiral off anywhere else.

Unfortunately, Megaguirus’ swarm still remains, having scattered across the world in the wake of their queen’s death. Finding and eradicating them is a top priority for the GDF and the nations of the world, especially with the revelation that normal Meganula can grow into a Queen given sufficient time and resources…

Physical Description
Meganulon and Meganula are gigantic insectoids, resembling armored dragonflies. The former lack wings and a tail, being larvae with thick, dark-brown armor. Their multi-lensed eyes are a dull purple in color. The adult phase sheds the armor for a brighter, yellow shell and large, translucent wings. Meganula’s bodies are notably thinner, more adapted for flight. A lengthy tail extends from their abdomen, bearing a stinger which resembles a dagger. Meganula eyes are much brighter than their larval stage’s, but retain the purple coloration. Both have sizable, sharp mandibles, a set on both the bottom and top of the mouth. Unlike insects as we know them, Meganulon and Meganula have eight limbs, six to support their bodies and two scythe-like forelimbs designed to carve into foes. Despite this, they do not count as arachnids, due to having antennae, wings, and three body segments instead of an arachnid’s two.

Queens resemble much larger versions of their brood, only with more bloated tails with wider stingers in the adult stage and patterns of orange all across their carapaces in both stages. The greater size of the tail is due to the stinger doubling as an ovipositor.

The Meganulon and Meganula that accompanied Megaguirus resembled their unmutated counterparts, only with green and yellow carapaces alongside blue eyes in both forms. Their scythes looked almost metallic. When damaged, a blue, gelatinous material would leak out, moving as if it had a mind of its own.

Megaguirus however, looked drastically different from her normal kind. Her carapace was almost black, with patterns of red and a far greater bulk accompanying it. Her four wings were sharp, grey, and leathery instead of the translucent, gossamer limbs of her sisters. Instead of scythes, her forelimbs bore claws like that of a crab’s, coated in jagged points. Her other limbs ended in wicked sets of claws. Instead of mandibles, Megaguirus’ jaws were reptilian, looking suspiciously like Godzilla’s, with sharp chitin spikes replacing the teeth. Her eyes remained blue, a piercing azure. Orange orbs were embedded all across her limbs, the most prominent being those running down the lengthy tail, which culminated in a treacherous five-pronged stinger. These orbs would glow whenever she channeled energy, and if broken would leak the same blue substance found within her brood.

Personality
There is little different between Meganula and ants in terms of personality. Everything they do is in service of the colony, with protecting and feeding their Queen and her eggs being the top priority. The mutated brood of Megaguirus were similar in this regard, the difference coming from how their Queen acted instead of anything to do with them.

Megaguirus was sadistic and destructive, destroying and eating everything in her sight with reckless abandon. Instead of trying to settle in one spot and build a hive, she and her swarm moved constantly. Against opposing kaiju Megaguirus took great joy in draining them of their essence, and even greater joy in laying her eggs inside them and watching the resulting gruesomeness.

Powers
Meganulon and Larval Queens lack any special abilities, aside from an ability to spray fluid from their maws which hardens into the material making up the hive, and is also often used to restrain prey for later feeding.

Meganula and Imago Queens
Flight: Meganula can fly surprisingly fast for a creature of their size, letting them surprise prey with swift strikes. The imago queens retain this trait, often creating gigantic winds with their passing over.

Venom: The ancient insectoids can inject venom into a target through their tail stinger, a neurotoxin that makes bodily functions shut down.

Ovipositor: Meganula drones are incapable of laying eggs due to being biologically male, however Meganula Queens’ tails double as an ovipositor. They are capable of using it to lay eggs inside of another living creature, however this is used rarely and only in instances where a supply of food for the hatchlings would not be readily available.

Megaguirus was far more willing to utilize her ovipositor as a weapon, Fire Rodan only being spared the grisly fate by his immense internal body temperature killing the eggs before they could hatch.

Mutated Meganulon and Meganula
In addition to all the powers of their standard versions, the brood of Megaguirus displayed a few key differences.

Absorption: These Meganula’s tails can drain fluids from a target, often being used at the same time as venom injection to ensure maximum damage. They are also capable of injecting stolen fluids into another target, in this case the husk of their queen’s larva.

Biological Ooze: Instead of blood, the insectoids have a blue ooze inside of their bodies which supports their vital functions. Bafflingly, this substance appears to be just as alive as the insectoids themselves, as shown with it reaching out from the body and grasping severed body parts to utilize them as they would be used normally. Some soldiers involved in the battles reported seeing multiple of the creatures merged together by this ooze, forming blobs with thrashing limbs and heads, however this has yet to be confirmed as true.

Even more confusingly, Megaguirus’ body was not completely filled with this substance, only the orange orbs on her body were. However the consistency of her shed blood suggests that it was slowly overtaking her, and likely would have fully assimilated her had she not been eliminated when she was. This is part of why the search for the remnants of the horde is so fierce, as the possibility of one of them developing into a Queen fully imbued with this substance is a frightening one.

Megaguirus
In addition to all the previous powers, including an immensely fast top flight speed of Mach 8, with short bursts exceeding Mach 15, Megaguirus displayed multiple abilities unique to her.

High Frequency Wingbeats: Megaguirus’ wings beat so swiftly and fiercely that they generated waves which disrupted technology. This could also be utilized offensively on purpose, the vile queen flapping her wings so ferociously that it sent out tangible waves of damaging sound and wind, sufficient to tear into stone and cause internal hemorrhaging in nearby lifeforms.

Sonic Boom: Megaguirus could fly swiftly enough to seemingly disappear from sight in short bursts, with this often causing disorienting and damaging shockwaves as a side effect.

Sonic Sphere: By focusing the High Frequency Wingbeats directly in front of herself, Megaguirus could form an orb of soundwaves which could then be launched at targets. It was powerful enough to knock Fire Rodan out of the air, and its explosion was as loud as volcanic eruption.

Stolen Rays: If Megaguirus absorbed fluids from a foe that could fire beams of energy, she was capable of discharging those beams herself using the stolen energy. This would manifest from her maw, as shown when she used Fire Rodan’s rays against him and the surroundings.

She could even incorporate these into the Sonic Sphere, forming the projectile and unleashing a ray into it, where it would be captured and diffused across the orb to transform it into a deadlier weapon.

MUTO

Height
Female: 75 meters
Male: 50 meters

Weight
Female: 70,000 tons
Male: 40,000 tons

Origins
In the end of the Permian era, there was an immense spike of radioactivity on planet Earth, leading to a mass die-off. All life on the planet nearly died, the death toll being over 90% of species. The cause is unknown, with hypotheses ranging from the ozone layer being corroded by bacteria releasing an overabundance of waste chemicals, an energy wave from a dying star sweeping over the planet, to some even saying that aliens performed the act simply to see what would occur. What is known is that the resulting corruption of genetics in the survivors led to many of the natural titans we know of today.

And as with all life, they gained parasites. In time, parasites mutated into predators.

The world first became aware of the MUTOs, Mutagenic Umbral Terror Organisms, sometime in the late 60s. From the preserved corpse of an Anguirus ancestor species, a fully grown male and female emerged, immediately causing destruction to everything in the surrounding area, killing the research crews. They began to march onwards as if drawn to something.

All kaiju have a strange compound inside their bloodstream, the exact nature of it difficult to comprehend even with careful study. What is known is that it is what lets them function at all, granting their muscles the strength to carry their immense weight and their bones the durability to not snap under the hellacious pressures inflicted upon them. And radiation is similar to this compound, to the point where the MUTOs attacked a nuclear power plant to feast on it, gaining the same “nutrition” that they would have had from a kaiju. It is hypothesized that Godzilla’s exposure to the H-Bomb caused an overload of this compound due to the radiation influx it generated, mixing with the kaiju-genetics and initiating a gruesome mutation that would have killed him had the Destruction Spirit not intervened.

The MUTOs sought out other kaiju, draining their blood. Occasionally the female would lay a clutch of eggs inside a victim instead of absorbing their ichor, granting her brood a meal when they hatched. These hatchlings, sometimes referred to as Shockirus, were highly dangerous to human beings, often attacking and draining them of all life. Eventually their sixth sense for other titans led them to a remote island where nuclear testing had been carried out prior.

Godzilla met them there, engaging in battle to protect a strange mound the two parasitic life forms had been approaching. The king of destruction had suddenly changed course towards the island days prior, as if drawn to something there as well. It was a difficult battle, the pair working in deadly synchronization to overwhelm Godzilla and drink of his lifeblood. A nuclear pulse shredded the male MUTO, leaving the female to be swiftly overwhelmed in single combat. Leaving behind her burning carcass, the leviathan shocked the world by gently brushing aside the dirt of the mound, unveiling an egg. With a level of tenderness thought impossible by the embodiment of devastation, he picked it up and walked into the ocean with it.

More MUTOs have cropped up since this event, both from ancient corpses and from the swarms the initial pair created. Few kaiju pose as much trouble to humankind specifically due to their attachment to nuclear energy, leaving the most efficient source of clean energy a deadly double-edged sword due to the chance of it attracting the kaiju parasites.

As well, some ancient tablets and legends point to the possibility of another entity in this species, a rarity that is pure terror incarnate. When the population of the MUTOs grows too low to be sustained, an individual undergoes a mutation to ensure the species continues, becoming far worse than even a swarm of their kin…

Physical Description
Both the male and female MUTOs have pitch-black exoskeletons, broken up by ridges along the back. Red, glowing veins in their legs connect to crimson undersides of the limbs. Instead of eyes, they have a single visor-like organ embedded above their mandibles. Spines coat their undersides, allowing the parasitic killers to latch onto a foe and dig into them with hooked limbs and wretched mandibles, spilling immense blood which they lap up with reckless abandon. Their mouths are like actual ticks, two grasping appendages surrounding a proboscis coated in hooks which is embedded into the flesh of prey, being nigh-impossible to remove.

The females are incredibly bulky, with swollen abdomens like ticks. Their gigantic limbs support them in a low stance, letting them barrel into an enemy and imbalance them. Despite their bloated appearance they can run quite swiftly. Often their undercarriage will glow orange, signifying a clutch of eggs is inside their belly and soon to be released.

The males are smaller and thinner, with a notable pair of gigantic back limbs. These let them leap tremendous distances like a flea, where membranes in the sides of their torsos unfold and allow them to glide.

Personality
Ascribing personality to MUTOs is like doing so to a tick or leech. Feed and reproduce, that is all they care for, every other lifeform is merely an avenue for the former to allow the latter to eventually occur.

Powers
Male and female MUTOs share the same capabilities other than the males’ ability to jump great distances and glide.

EMP: By channeling energy into their limbs, the red turns to blue as the MUTO strikes and unleashes an electromagnetic pulse. When another monster is directly struck in the skull, they are disoriented as their brain is briefly overloaded, essentially giving them a seizure. Technology in a several mile radius is shut down, an unintended consequence of this ability in their initial evolution that greatly benefits them in this new age.

I know I teased two future profiles here, but one’s a bit further down the line while the other’s right up next. Also the origin with the Precambrian extinction was from a convo I had on Discord about mass extinctions, and how one of the theories for the Precambrian extinction (oxygen eating bacteria producing too much hydrogen sulfide, corrodes ozone layer, bathes planet in fuckload of solar radiation) came up and how the Monsterverse could tie into that with the whole radioactive ancient planet and monsters.

The H-Man

Height and Weight: Fluctuating, but remains around human level.

Origins:

In 2016, the world had been rocked by the appearance of Godzilla. The creature had mercifully died mere seconds before the worst case scenario had happened, but that didn't stop scientists from all over the world from sprinting towards the corpse the second the radiation levels died. Everything about Godzilla's corpse had been either scavenged, stolen, and studied.

One of the creatures from Godzilla's tail was taken away to a hidden laboratory and tested on thoroughly. What the original goal was has been lost to time as the creature was bombarded with powerful radiation and the H-Man was finally born, easily escaping his confinements and turning every single soul in that bunker into a puddle of white hot goop. After that, it escaped into the wild. Some have believed it to be a cryptid, but the documentation and video evidence has put everyone on high alert in case it ever makes a reappearance into society. The only thing that seems absolutely certain is that it is hunting down the rest of Godzilla's remains scattered across the globe.

Physical Description:

Despite the fact it is essentially an amorphous blob, it regularly takes the rough form of a human. The H-Man's defining characteristic is the intense glowing effect it always exudes no matter what form. Swirling liquids and various organs can be seen constantly changing, dissolving, and resolving themselves in the H-Man's body. What purpose they serve, if any, remains unknown.

Personality:

Currently, the H-Man appears to display no higher intelligence of any kind. Any attempts to communicate with the creature have failed miserably and capture of the creature is impossible with modern methods.

Powers and Weaknesses:

Extreme Corrosive Touch: The H-Man is the most corrosive thing currently alive on the planet. With the ability to melt through nearly anything in its path, conventional weapons do absolutely nothing to it. Simply melting in its body.

Shape Shifting: Although technically an ability, the H-Man has displayed no advanced levels of body morphing beyond dissolving itself into a puddle of radioactive sludge. This does not mean it cannot obtain other forms, as footage has been seen of the H-Man attempting to mimic other creatures it has encounted to various degrees of success.

Extreme Levels of Radiation: The H-Man is a walking nuclear reactor that has gone critical. The intense light it shines has been identified as Cherenkov radiation and it basically exudes a death cone around itself. Mercifully, like its birth parent, the radiation has an extremely short half-life, meaning that permanent damage to the environment isn't a concern.

Slow: The main disadvantage the H-Man possesses is how slow the creature is. It simply cannot move fast even if it desired. Either through an inability or sheer lack of understanding, the H-Man moves at a glacial pace, meaning outrunning the creature is never difficult. The downside is that it possesses virtually limitless stamina, so even if you run, it may still catch up.

Potential Link with Godzilla's other remains: Despite being a mutation of a mutation, the H-Man is hell bent on it's mission for... whatever it needs to do with the rest of Godzilla's remains. No one is sure what will happen if it ever absorbs/dissolves a significant chunk of the former monster, but no one's willing to be the first to find out.

Junior: 35,000 tons initially, 55,000 tons currently

Origins
In the year 1954, the world was changed forever when a colossal dinosaur emerged from the bay of Tokyo. Scarred and deformed, the beast went on a rampage that left the city in a state of devastation which looked as though an army had laid seige to it with only the intent of destruction. Nuclear radiation spilled from it like a fog, killing millions more in the years to follow and making the capital of Japan utterly uninhabitable for over a decade (it would have been far longer had alien technology not been used to cleanse the city and allow people to return there).

It had not even been 10 years since WW2’s end, and already the world’s armies were mobilizing, not against each other but against the terror in the waves. But they would never go to war against it, an event that would surely have led only to travesty that all the nations of Earth would weep over. An experimental superweapon slayed the beast, the details of its make completely unknown even to Japan’s government due to the inventor ensuring with his own death that the horror he had created could never blaspheme again.

Yet monsters remained hiding in the shade of humanity’s splendor, and 1955 revealed them with aplomb as two clashed in a war of the gods. Godzilla, resembling Gojira but even more warped and immense, colliding with a hyper aggressive Anguirus.

Theories over the relation between Gojira and Godzilla raged over the years, due to them being of the same species and originating from the same area, the Bikini Atoll where U.S.A. nuclear tests occurred frequently. The complete disentgration of Gojira made study of a corpse impossible, leaving only speculation for years.

Until Godzilla returned to the place of his mutation and fusion with the spirit embodying humanity’s destructive desires, and retrieved an egg buried beneath the earth. Communion with Mothra’s priestesses, who can speak with their god, has confirmed the hypothesis many leading scientists conjured.

Gojira and Godzilla were a mated pair before Castle Bravo was detonated. Godzilla was closer, turning him into a cancerous mess who would have simply died in agony, while Gojira was further away and thus only recieved horrid burns and scars. Their egg remained untouched, buried far away. The matriarchal colossus was driven mad by agony and grief for her mate’s fate, destroying everything in her path once she made her way to civilization.

Godzilla had thought his child dead, the spirit within him sensing nothing due to it not pertaining to danger or destruction. Some have questioned how Godzilla can be anything other than a mindless killing machine with the spirit embodying destruction within him, but this is an oversimplification. The king of destruction is two minds coexisting in one body, intelligent animal and personification of humanity’s destructive impulses (thus why his wrath is often turned upon humanity, such is our nature). So when he sensed something important to him was in grave danger, he rushed to face it, discovering the MUTOs and the mound shielding his child.

Humanity was dumbstruck by Godzilla carrying the egg away, beginning a frantic search for him and a potential new kaiju. The gathering of Rodan, Anguirus, and Mothra drew their eyes to a remote island, one untouched by human civilization. Researchers were deployed, only to be nearly killed when they drew near. Only those who bore not a hint of ill will towards Godzilla were allowed to pass, where they witnessed something spectacular.

The birth of a new god.

The offspring was not particularly divine when he first arrived into the world, breaking free of a relatively diminutive egg and letting out a squeaking cry instead of a mighty bellow. They still speak of the surreal nature of watching Godzilla, one who has broken the bones of world destroyers and plunged entire cities into fire, being gentle and careful around such a small being.

“Minilla”, as the child came to be known, grew quickly. In a matter of years he was a giant, his skin shedding often. The first of these sheddings came with a significant change in appearance and size, thus officially being labeled Minilla instead of Baby Godzilla. As he grew his father kept near to him at almost all times, making Anguirus or Rodan stay by Minilla’s side whenever he needed to leave. Many times Godzilla would lure a kaiju to their home to make the monster prince fight it, a harsh practice that is believed to have been something their species did normally. Although it would sometimes get brutal on Minilla, any injury that would have been serious was stopped by Godzilla himself swiftly executing the other monster.

Minilla would often attempt to follow his father off the island whenever he left, however this was stopped nearly every time, only being allowed when it was a simple transfer of homes. Despite the combat prowess he was instilling in the juvenile, a true fight was something he refused to allow. Any attempted human interaction with Minilla was also met with aggression, unless those involved lacked any malice towards Godzilla, a rare thing with how much destruction Godzilla has wreaked over the years. However, there are still some who show this state, and are functioning members of society all the while (most who hold no hatred towards the king of destruction are not mentally stable, idolizing him as a symbol against humanity), believing that it is unfair to label him as evil due to what he truly is.

Eventually, sometime in the late 80s, after many years and sheddings of skin, Minilla dropped into a comatose state. Despite the seeming direness of it as this lasted for hours on end, Godzilla seemed to not react, instead standing in place and watching carefully. After almost a day, there was movement, a shifting and bulging in the back. Like a butterfly from a cocoon, Godzilla Junior ripped himself free, bellowing to the world. Father and son looked to one another, sharing a nod and a few roars, before the former turned and left. The child had reached the point where he could be fully independent, even if not quite fully matured.

As of now, Junior has reached what is believed to be his full size, providing us a much better idea of what his kind looks like without any mutations. He is slightly mutated due to his exposure to Castle Bravo as an embryo, however a combination of distance and having been beneath the ground means it is very minor in comparison to his parents. He is one of the more beloved kaiju by Earth’s citizens, due to only attacking when angered and being slow to said anger, making him more of a guardian than anything else.

The followers of Mothra proclaim that one day, he will become the mightiest being on Earth, for if Godzilla were to ever perish, the destruction spirit would be transferred to the next of kin. And as ideals only grow stronger when passed to future generations, so too would the embodiment of them, creating a being who’s power could “turn the Earth into dust or shield it from all the stars falling at once, all based upon its heart.”

Physical Description
The newborn, codenamed Baby Godzilla, was an awkward looking creature. A lime-green theropod with a head too large for his body and gangly limbs, he could barely run without tripping over. Bulging amber eyes and tiny, nub-like teeth were the defining features of his face. Bumps on his back were all there was of the signature spines, and the tiny sphere of bone on the end of the tail was it for the tail-club bore by his kind.

Minilla was not much more threatening in looks, but with a more upright posture and darker green skin, he at least seemed better put together. His eyes were still large compared to his skull, but they looked as though they properly fit within it unlike before. Sharper teeth rested within a maw growing increasingly more crocodilian, nothing resembling the horrid blades within his father’s maw, but more in line with how a normal carnivore’s teeth would be. His body and limbs were bulkier, looking pudgy but still having powerful muscle within. Hook-like claws jutted forth from his fingers and toes, purple like the small spikes extending out of his back and from the more robust tail-club.

Junior is a fearsome looking beast. With a lean but powerful build, he greatly resembles his mother, only without the wounds which afflicted her after the nuclear bomb. Lengthy and muscular limbs, a fierce maw which resembles a cross between that a rat and a crocodile’s, and a tail about as long as he is tall. Colossal, spiky dorsal plates protrude from his back, a deep purple color, same as the jagged blades erupting from his tail-club. His bright amber eyes remain, contrasting with his dark-green scales.

Personality
The approaching of Junior is not seen with nearly as much fear as that of his father, even after reaching full size. He will rarely enter a city, and if he does so he will only scout around the outskirts before leaving. Other kaiju are only engaged if they provoke him, same with humans. The prince of the monsters is slow to anger and generally kind. This is how he has been his entire life, being gentle with the humans who were able to see him and only fighting when required.

Junior is also a highly sociable creature, far more than his father. He has formed bonds with many kaiju and enjoys being around animals & human beings. Rare is the kaiju who will let humans even get close to it, much less let them place their hand upon them like Junior will (despite health concerns, it has been established that Junior does not output enough radiation to harm a person as long as they are not near him for too long). Although Godzilla was fiercely protective of him, he did not utterly isolate his son from contact with others, not wanting his child to suffer the same loneliness he did for years.

Powers
Baby Godzilla lacked powers.

Minilla
Radioactive Expulsion: Over Minilla’s development, the nature of his atomic attack shifted. Initially it was a cluster of bubbles, bursting pitifully upon contact with a target. Eventually it morphed into a ring of atomic smoke, sticking to a target and often wrapping around limbs. In the months before his metamorphosis into Junior, he could unleash a streak of nuclear mist, capable of melting steel.

Super Regeneration: Though not nearly as potent as his father’s regeneration, Minilla could heal minor wounds very swiftly.

Godzilla Junior
Atomic Ray: Godzilla Junior can fire a high-pressure stream of nuclear mist, which glows blue as it travels through the air. It explodes after a brief time focused on a target, blasting open craters into foes. The monster prince is also capable of releasing an amped up version of this attack when sufficiently pressured, an orange beam made of glowing energy, with enough kinetic force to shove monsters the same size as Junior to the ground and having heat approaching the atomic breath of his father.

Junior can also fire the nuclear bubbles and smoke rings that he could in his previous state, their power increased enough to be deadly as the spheres detonate like a cluster bomb and the ring clings to a target before going off in a powerful blast.

Nuclear Vents: From his spines Junior can release bursts of heat and fire, strong enough to send a foe flying and leaving them with horrible burns. Over usage of this can cause his spines to begin to melt, so this ability is often a last resort, due to the time and pain involved with reconstructing his spines.

Heat Conduction: The monster prince can superheat parts of his body to increase the damage dealt by melee strikes or to drive an opposing monster away. The body part in question will glow a bright orange as he does so.

Super Regeneration: Godzilla Junior cannot heal as swiftly or thoroughly as his father can, but his natural healing is well beyond most kaiju. A broken limb can be fine in a matter of hours, minor cuts are gone in the blink of an eye, and his dorsal plates can be regrown in a matter of days. This regeneration is not perfect, scars will remain from particularly brutal cuts and limbs will still be in pain even after the bones are put back in place.

Re: Make Your Own Version/Incarnation(s) of Kaiju

Post by Nagoda »

Here's another virus based Kaiju, taking some inspiration from Resident Evil and Devil May Cry elements to make this one.

Biollante/Erika Shiragami: G-Variant: Floral Fallal

Height: Erika 5’1/Biollante Tree 3- 100 meters

Weight: 114 Pounds/Biollante Tree 10 - 100,000 tons

Origins/Physical Description: Gilded Seed Variant 28: Subject Biollante, formerly known as Dr. Erika Shiragami, and Originator of G-Variant: Floral Fallal.

Dr. Erika Shiragami was an innovative researcher for the CCI, working to manipulate the Gilded Seeds mutative nature to benefit humanity. Erika sought to utilize G-Seeds to combine plant life of the same family in order to produce a new food source for humanity, by allowing the virus to latch onto and absorb a strain of ACLSV, the Apple Chlorotic Leaf Spot Virus. This mutation of the G-Seed was code named G-Variant: Floral Fallal by Dr. Shiragami, as it modified the appearance of the trees like a dress of flowers.

Tests done by Dr. Shiragami on Floral Fallal were met with few success rates, with many young saplings mutating into floral abominations that attracted prey through scent, or dying in the process. However the infectious medium of the virus allowed the doctor to cross pollinate between infected individuals, eventually creating a more safe crossbreed that produced a variety of fruit from the Rosaceae Family such as plums and peaches. Prior mutations were quickly disposed of as they attempted to drain victims of blood as a form of nutrition, though later descendants would continue to hold the luring scent of their flowers. These plants would be classified as Biollante by Dr. Shiragami. The dangers of these trees were that their flowers seemed to have a luring scent that drew in animals, only for the creature to be skewered by vampiric roots that dragged them below the ground.

Tests done on the fruit found them to have a minor strain of the virus within them, seemingly harmless at first to most test subjects they were fed to other than a slight increase in physical prowess. It was unfortunate that Miss Erica had decided her project was a success, and began to intake the fruits in her own diet. The fruits borne by the Biollante Tree were soon found to be addictive due to the virus inside their flesh. The virus acts as an addictive drug that forces those who eat the fruits to continue eating them, slowly becoming dependent on the fruit for nutrition as it slowly mutates their bodies. The addiction and dependency on these fruits were but one part of the plants mutant biology however, acting as a lure to draw creatures towards the plants where vampiric vines and roots would latch onto and drain the victims, dragging them beneath the soil as fertilizer. It also appeared that mutations made by Gilded Seed are nearly immune to these effects, and seem to gain nourishment from these fruit due to its virus and seem to gain small boosts in strength and power from devouring what would later be known as “Malus Fruits”.

Dr. Erika quickly grew dependent on the fruit of her tree, no longer eating anything other than fruits in her diet soon after. Researchers close to her began to notice slight changes in her behavior over time, treating her plants like her own children and sometimes talking to herself when nobody else was around. It wasn’t until months later, that the facility breach would occur and the true danger of Floral Fallal would be unleashed. Before the breach, Erika and some of her researchers were gathering fruit for experimentation from her Biollante Trees, when she found a fruit unlike any other borne from the plant. Unlike the ripe peaches, the sweet plums, juicy apples, or succulent pears that the tree usually produced, this fruit was far more sinister looking. Photos of the fruit showcased it as a sort of mutant plum, with near transparent skin and covered in fleshy veins. The inside of what we now refer to as the Malus Fruit, appeared to be concentrated fluids of a reddish color, with a pulsing blood red pit in its center.

Notes and video footage recovered from the researchers with her that day state that Erika seemed to be communicating with something before noticing the fruit. Before anyone could act, the doctor was already inside the containment zone past the line of safety where the vampiric roots reach ended. However, instead of skewering Erika, the tree appeared to welcome her, wrapping her in vines and lifting her to reach the fruit. It was then that Erika became the G-Mutant known as Biollante. Upon eating the fruit, Erika’s body quickly went through a violent change. Her body quickly became covered in what appeared to be thorny vines as the tree absorbed her into its core.

Armed soldiers attempted to free the doctor from the tree but were swiftly met with violent vampiric vines and roots as well as animals lured in and dependent on the fruits of the tree, as though they were being commanded by the tree itself. A few hours after being absorbed, Erika walked out of the trees Core, changed completely. Her hair had shifted to a reddish pink, now covered in thorny vines and beautiful flowers, as her skin took on a slight greenish pink tone. Her eyes had changed to a more sinister goldish hue and seemed to glow in the dark. She no longer had her uniform on, but instead wore an almost silken blood red dress covered in thorny, almost metallic vines and flowers.

As guards approached her for questioning, she quickly moved forth with unprecedented speeds, latching onto the soldier as though traumatized. It was when he let his guard down that the vines on her dress latched around both guards, draining the two of their bodily fluids and leaving Erika appearing more flushed with life. She then seemingly took command of every agent and animal that had consumed the fruits of Biollante in the facility, initiating a building-wide breach and releasing all contained variants from their cells. Erika and her “Followers” disappeared toward the center of the island with the Biollante Tree. Recovered facility footage showcased her utilizing her newfound vines, which were attached to her body, to absorb more and more lifeforms of their fluids, while simultaneously manipulating the vines and branches of various Biollante trees.

Years later during an attack by another G-Variant, spores of golden pollen seemingly fell from the sky and seeded a Biollante Tree, which quickly flowered and mutated into an almost animalistic plant monster with an almost crocodilian maw and several vampiric roots which subdued and drained the mutant of its fluids. Some videos and rumors of the incident report seeing a female similar to Erika in the location, leading us to assume Erika is able to fuse with a Biollante Tree in order to fight off larger mutations. It appears she has slowly been forming her own village of animals and people who are dependent on the virus of her fruits, who in turn feed her newfound vampiric urges and worship her like a goddess. Most images of Erika showcase her either wrapped in metallic vine-like armor draining victims of their fluids, or wearing the same floral dress she emerged with while walking amongst her followers. Spawned from her mutation came a variety of vampiric plant mutations, acting as symbiotic soldiers whose only purpose is to wander and devour the bodily fluids of other animals and inject them into the trees or Erika herself.

The CCI does its best to contain and rescue individuals before they are truly addicted and dependent on the fruits, but the trees have quickly become spread around the world in patches creating villages of fruit eating cults worshiping Erika. Our best option is to quarantine these villages and hope they keep to themselves, or hope one of the other Variants wipe them off the map for the potential Malus Fruit these trees may spawn. It is recommended that any indications of Floral Fallal sighted in an area be immediately wiped out via burning of the host tree, and to check all citizens in the neighboring area for potential infections to wean them off the fruit. Any “Man Eaters” sighted must be eliminated quickly before they can drain or bring fluids back to their host trees. It is unknown if any mutants created by Floral Fallal will help the CCI, as most created by Erika have an intense loyalty embedded into their minds that so far, has not been broken, and those who have the virus in their system may fall victim to her control over it.

Personality: The Biollante Trees appear to be normal, fruit bearing trees at first, but have vampiric vines which drain bodily fluids from prey to help the plant grow. The trees do not need blood to function, but appear to utilize the blood to mutate and grow larger due to the virus feeding and propagating inside the drained fluids. It appears that the trees intake this blood not only as a nourishment, but can condense the energy absorbed by countless lifeforms with an enhanced Floral Fallal into a Fruit of Malus, which can either enhance, or severely mutate whatever eats it.

As for Erika, she was a smart, and kind woman. Driven by her work and a passion for helping others. However, after eating fruits of the Biollante tree, she slowly became more and more drawn into herself, whispering to unseen visitors and at times. The virus concentrated in her body through the fruits seemed to affect her mind, as well as her physical prowess making her more physically fit without any work. It wasn’t until she ate the Fruit of Malus that her personality completely shifted.

Gone was the kind woman, and in her place was a sadistic blood sucking monster. Erika had changed, the virus inside her unleashing her inner desires and allowing her to truly be herself amongst others. Alongside this mutation came a drive to seek out blood and power, viewing herself as a goddess made flesh with all others her sheep and cattle. Her body had become mutated, genetics fused together as a hybrid of plant and animal cells with a thirst for blood. She seemingly retained all her memories prior to her transformation, but seems to be more confident and passionate, utilizing her intellect and newfound abilities to enrich herself and her trees.

Powers/Abilities:

Biollante Tree:

Vampiric Vines/Roots: A mutation caused by the Gilded Seed. Many of the earlier generations of the Biollante Tree grew large thorny vines which sought out blood to absorb, like a carnivorous plant. Many thought it as a form of finding fertilizer to boost its own growth and fruit, but it wasn’t until Erika had eaten the Fruit of Malus that the true nature of this vampiric consumption was made known. These vines and roots would extend out from the tree and entangle victims, injecting them with acidic sap and sucking up the melted fluids left inside the body. These vines and roots would become a major indicator for other mutations of the Floral Fallal virus.

Fruit Bearing: As a genetic hybrid of various fruit bearing trees, the Biollante Tree both can flower and grow a variety of sweet and juicy fruits. The fruits the tree produces range from Apples, Pears, Plums, and Peaches. Each fruit contains a minor variant of Floral Fallal, which will lead to addiction to fruits from the Biollante Tree over longtime exposure and consumption. Constant consumption of the plants can also lead to the virus mutating the body’s digestive system to rely mainly on these fruits for nutrition.

Fruit of Malus: Upon the consumption of vast amounts of bodily fluids, the tree will condense it’s gathered biological energy into a single, mutant fruit containing vast nutritious value as well as an aggressive enhanced form of the Floral Fallal Virus which can now affect Animal Life Forms. Should normal animals, including humans, devour the fruit, they will heavily mutate into a vampiric mindless monstrosity covered in metallic vampiric vines. Due to her constant exposure and experimentation on the Floral Fallal virus, Erika’s body had gained a symbiotic relationship with the trees overtime, and her consumption of the fruit had fused her cells with that of the Biollante trees, with the virus heavily enhancing her body and shifting her mindset and personality.

Should other G-Variants and Mutants devour the Fruit of Malus, they will not become mutated like other lifeforms, but instead gain a massive boost in power and strength as their own virus devours the Floral Fallal virus like prey. As a result, many G-Mutants have been drawn to locations where a Fruit of Malus has grown to devour its power upon its ripening, as though the fruit’s power draws them to it. Testing on giving a Fruit of Malus to a CCI Mutant Agent is not recommended at this time for potential dangers of mixing different viruses in a human body compared to that of a kaiju. More research must be done.

Enhanced Spore Seeding: Through some mutation unknown to the CCI, it appears that the Biollante Tree is able to be seeded into any location in the world, presumably through the commands of the Mutant known as Erika. These trees are preceded by glowing spores which will seed the ground, and overnight grow a Biollante Tree which will then start to absorb and convert animals into its midst.

Symbiotic Mutation: When a Biollante Tree is fused with Erika, the plant will grow to massive proportions and mutate into an animalistic monster, similar to that of G-Variant Calamity in appearance. In its chest is a golden saplike core covered in protective metallic vines, holding Erika inside like a pilot. This Mutated Body is just called Biollante, and has the capability to fight off other mutations of similar giant size through acidic sap and vampiric vines, as well as seemingly having a large regenerative factor brought about through the union of Erika with the tree.

Man Eater Fruit: A lesser effect of Erika’s bond with the tree was the creation of Mutative fruits in the trees, which transforms and mutates those who devour them. Those who eat these fruits become warped, as thorny vines grow and wrap around their bodies, taking control of their minds and bodies to serve only the Biollante Tree. These “Man Eaters” wander the forests and surroundings, seeking out other lifeforms and using their vines to entangle and drain them of their fluids, using acidic digestive saps formed inside the vines. Man Eaters who have absorbed blood change color from a dark green to a blood red as they fill up on fluids. They seem to pass by those infected with Floral Fallal however, only absorbing them if they willingly give themselves to the Man Eaters or the Biollante Trees.

Acidic Sap: In normal Biollante Trees, their vampiric vines and roots can inject acidic sap into their victims as a form of predigestion for the vines to consume more organic matter as a slurry. However, upon bonding with Erika and forming the Mutant Biollante, the tree can now unleash the sap from its massive crocodilian maw as a form of attack, with each of its massive vampiric vines filled with the digestive acid to wear down armored prey and drain them dry.

Erika Shiragami:

Genius Intellect: Dr. Erika Shiragami was an innovative researcher in viral and botanical studies. She was able to take a strain of the Gilded Seed and adapt it to a less dangerous plant based virus in order to allow the cross pollination of several related fruit bearing trees. Her constant experimentation and exposure to her work gave her a slight immunity to the virus, eventually leading to a symbiotic relationship with her experiments. Her mind has only grown stronger with her mutation, freeing her of her human limitations and leading to new genetic mutations formed by her experimentation of the Floral Fallal variant on human subjects, creating more plant based mutations that threaten the world and work to make herself stronger.

Floral Fallal Symbiosis: Due to her constant exposure from experimentation, Erika’s body had gained a symbiotic relationship with the Floral Fallal variant virus. The Virus gave her minor enhanced strength and reflexes, as well as seemingly gave her a stronger skin capable of withstanding glancing cuts. This symbiosis eventually allowed her to become one with the Biollante Trees upon eating the Fruit of Malus. The enhanced virus and incredible energy contained within the fruit mutated her body further, combining her cells with that of the tree itself, giving her a variety of newfound abilities.

Fruit Dependency: Over long time exposure and consumption of the fruits from the Biollante Trees, Erika’s body has become dependent on them. Even after her mutation after the consumption of the fruit of malus, her body remains mostly dependent on the fruits, though she can unify and drain nutrition from the trees itself to sustain herself or drain people of their fluids as an alternative.

Luring Pheromones: After eating the Fruit of Malus, Erika’s body mutated heavily. One of her newfound abilities was to release an attractive pheromone into the air, like a floral scent to attract prey. These pheromones allowed her to get close to her victims due to making them relaxed or attracted to her. They also allow her to take control of others who have eaten fruit of the Biolllante and contain the Floral Fallal Virus inside their bodies, building herself a cult of worshipers to feed her bloodlust.

Vampiric Enhancement: Upon her rebirth, Erika’s body had shifted further from its dependency on fruits to include the tree’s vampiric nature. Through vines she grows from her back, Erika is able to absorb bodily fluids from other lifeforms, injecting them with acidic sap and drinking the fluids left behind through either the vines or her mouth. She had also gained two fangs similar to a vampire in her mouth, allowing her to inject either the acidic virus or a subservient strain of the Floral Fallal into a victim and mutate them into “Vampiric Followers”. The intake of blood and bodily fluids seems to be an almost amoral pleasure for Erika, as the draining of these fluids boost her already incredible strength and reflexes to new heights. She can also inject her vines into various Biollante trees and absorb their nutrients and fluids into herself as a form of eating, using her vines to unify with the trees. One major mutation caused by the Malus fruit has given Erika a form of regeneration, allowing her to seal up and heal wounds within minutes, and accelerated upon her connection to a Biollante plant via her vines or through devouring bodily fluids.

Fruit of Malus Enhancement: After eating the Fruit of Malus, Erika grew immensely in power. Her strength and reflexes had grown to new heights, capable of breaking steel and deflecting bullets with her vines. The enhanced virus inside her body shifted her personality and unleashed her inner desires, giving her the bloodlust of her trees and incredible power. Her skin grew able to withstand bullet fire, and gained full control of every biollante tree across the world. With each Fruit of Malus Erika eats, the more powerful she becomes, until eventually she grew strong enough to challenge the stronger Mutations around the world and take their bodies for herself.

Vampiric Monster Creation: Erika can modify a fruit on a Biollante Tree through unifying with it. These modified fruits are then given to animals or people, upon which they swiftly mutate into vampiric vine-covered monsters called Man Eaters under the command of Erika, and guards of the Biollante Trees. These lesser mutations seek out animals to absorb their blood, taking the gathered bounty to their trees in order to boost the creation of a Malus Fruit and enrich the trees. The host body is utilized as a storage sack for the vines, acting as their nutrition and a way to store more blood and fluids for their nature.

However, Erika can take this further, and create subordinates with similar but lesser powers than herself through injecting them directly with the virus from her body. Those who survive the process retain their sense of self but gain an intense loyalty to Erika. Those who don’t become stronger versions of the vampire plant mutations, growing large flowers on their faces and wandering the lands in search of blood and often fighting smaller mutations for their virus rich fluids. Their corpses are then converted into Man Eaters through injections of the Floral Fallal Virus, but degrade faster than normal Man Eaters.

Biollante Tree Unification/Seeding: Unique to Erika is the ability to unify with her Biollante Trees, entering their wood and becoming a core of the trees. Through this manner, she can absorb and control the trees more thoroughly, and transport herself between trees across the world like a form of teleportation by forming a new body inside the other tree. Erika, and her subordinates, can seed new Biollante Trees through spores, which fall from the sky like golden powder in order to engulf enough nutrients to grow a tree. This allows Erika to transfer herself to new locations more easily as her trees become more widespread. Should any tree remain, Erika can rebirth herself from their core.

In order to fight larger more powerful mutations, Erika can unify with one of her Biollante Trees, forming a massive golden core with her at its center. With her vines controlling the tree, she can mutate it into an animalistic monster of vines and teeth, resembling Type Calamity in appearance somewhat with a crocodilian maw alongside several vines with sharp toothed mouths. Her unity with the tree gives both herself and her abomination an impressive healing factor, able to withstand destructive blows and patch up injuries with ease as she entangles and weakens her opponents.

Gabara

Height: “Good bit taller than Junior.”
Weight: “Probably not a whole lot, real skinny thing.”

Origins
Few kaiju phenomena are near the oddity that was (and we use “was” hopefully in this instance) as Gabara.

Gabara first manifested in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Without warning the city was assaulted by the emerald oni, appearing in the midst of the area in the blink of an eye. Chaos erupted as people ran for their lives, buildings being torn down by the beast as it cackled a warped cry. The military soon arrived, firing at it, to no avail as their shells passed through the being’s body.

Because Gabara did not actually “exist”. Recordings showed no sign of the entity, only the panicked crowds and buildings crumbling. It looked as though the military was firing wildly into the air, causing more destruction in the process. Yet this was only the beginning of the oddity. Investigation of destroyed buildings showed signs of sudden structural failure from within or damage caused by an explosion within. Autopsies of casualties turned up results of sudden heart attacks, being trampled to death by the crowd, and a myriad of other events that distinctly were not a kaiju.

Despite thousands swearing up and down that they saw a colossus, that their friend or loved one was killed by a beast, there was no technical proof that anything of the sort had occurred. Just buildings that were completely up to code suddenly crumbling, people with a clean bill of health having sudden organ failure, and those nowhere near a crowd being trampled by one.

As suddenly as it appeared, “Gabara” was gone after its rampage. The reasoning for this name was witnesses claiming they “just knew” that was the entity’s name upon seeing it.

Gabara appeared multiple times afterwards, lacking a pattern in timing or where it appeared. The story was the same every time, military assaults passing through the oni’s form without harming it and all evidence other than witnesses pointing to no kaiju at all. In a few instances other kaiju did arrive, attacking Gabara with a level of ferocity beyond what they usually exhibit. Recordings of these battles show the monster thrashing about madly, screaming in rage and pain at random points as they bite and claw at nothing. But people present tell a different story, of brutal combat against the mysterious creature. According to them, although the monsters’ projectiles would still pass through, their physical strikes actually “damaged” Gabara, seeming to tear open flesh which shed no blood.

Gabara’s latest appearance so far saw it battle Godzilla Junior in San Francisco. Footage does not paint a good picture of the monster prince, seeing him thrash about madly, occasionally throwing himself into a building. In one moment he fires a ray which causes great destruction as it tears into a building, then seems surprised. It ends with him grasping air, slowly moving his clenched hands as though tearing something apart with effort, then roaring in triumph before leaving. Cheering is heard from all across the city, people celebrating with great joy. According to eyewitnesses, Junior and Gabara engaged in a brutal conflict, one which culminated in the heroic kaiju tearing the oni’s torso open. Despite not a single drop of blood flowing out, this seemingly killed Gabara, for it has yet to reappear.

What Gabara even was, along with whether it is truly dead, is a source of heated debate across the scientific community. Some say that it truly never existed, being a mass hallucination. Others hypothesize that it is an extra-dimensional entity intersecting with our world. A manifestation of dreams, a parasite of the collective unconscious, or just a very strange mutant toad, theories and speculation run rampant. What fuels these even more is the report that aliens living on the planet claim they were never able to see Gabara in the first place, suggesting only beings native to Earth can observe the entity.

Physical Description
Reports of Gabara’s appearance are consistent enough to paint an image of it.

The oni was bright green, skin like a toad’s coating its skeletal frame. Cracks crawled across the dried flesh, further adding to a deathly appearance. Very little musculature was present and there was not a hint of fat. Gangly arms and legs ended in thin claws, looking malnourished. Dark warts were scattered all along its form.

Gabara’s eyes were blank, white orbs. Patchy, tangled, and filthy hair as red as fire sprung from the top of the head, running down the back. A cat-like snout rested above a pig’s mouth filled with sharp teeth. What looked like a broken set of fangs were at the front. Finally, out of its skull’s cap protruded multiple horns, a line starting with a gigantic point from the forehead and running down to about the shoulder blades, getting smaller the further back they went.

Personality
Gabara took great pleasure in inflicting pain and destruction according to those who viewed it, consistently laughing as it rampaged. It tormented the kaiju it fought, taking moves that caused pain over any sort of tactical process. Gabara also lacked much self preservation, uncaring of any damage dealt to it by other kaiju, apparently not reacting with any sort of fear as Junior tore into it. This, along with the oni’s strange nature of “existence”, is why many do not believe it to actually be dead.

Powers
Due to the difficulties with ascertaining anything about Gabara, this list is not to be taken as absolute fact.

Incorporeal Nature: Due to the entity’s state of being, the rules which apply to lifeforms do not apply to it. Gabara would appear in the midst of a city without warning, and disappear just as suddenly. Military fire and the projectiles of kaiju phased through its body. Strangely this did not protect Gabara from physical attacks by kaiju, with some theorizing that this is due to whatever allowed it to interact with objects working against the oni. Throughout its rampages and battles, Gabara apparently would “teleport” around, not overtly like Gigan’s ability to do so, but when lost from sight would appear elsewhere it could not possibly have moved to in the span of time.

Electricity: Gabara could supposedly channel electricity through its body, using this against other kaiju, and occasionally on people. During some rampages a storm cloud would appear overhead, casting down lightning bolts with precision impossible for a random natural event (and once Gabara disappeared, so too would the clouds).

Poison: The oni could release poisonous clouds from its warts, killing any people caught in the fumes and causing opposing kaiju great distress and pain. Any humans killed by this turned up as dead from sudden, fatal medical problems in autopsies, despite many of them being fully healthy.
