The BIG FAN SURVEY 2020

Hello dear Kaiju-Fans out there!

A long time ago I planned a new kind of survey which includes a ranking of moives, monsters and actors. Finally I have a legit evaluation concept to get a meaningful result at the end.

This survey will run until the end of 2020. I will present the results at 1st of January 2021 as long as nothing intervenes.
I hope for an active participation.

Here are the rules for every forum member who joins the big survey:
1. Please use the blanko form posted after the original post to vote.
Vote for 10 movies, 10 kaiju and 10 actors. Your selections will get different weightness from position 1 to 10. Position 1 gets 10 points and each position gets 1 point less until position 10 which will have the value of 1 point. It`s self-explanatory when you see the voting form below.

2. Every forum user can only vote once! I will check this topic daily (if possible) and transfer all votings into a evaluation sheet. So please make sure you to vote once without changes. As soon as your vote is entered into my evaluation sheet there is no change possible. Please keep this in mind.

3. For the moives: I will accept all kaiju movies and "border area" movies like King Kong, Jurassic Part/World, Tarantula, Ray Harryhausen movies, other Tokusatsu movies like Atragon or Gorath and so on. I will NOT accept animal horror movies like Jaws, Lake Placid, Octalus and so on. I think you understand what I mean. You should also add the production year to your movie chioces like "Godzilla 1954" or "Godzilla 1998" or "Godzilla 2014"

4. For the Kaiju/Monsters: Please do not just write down a kaiju name like "Godzilla". Please always add the year like "Godzilla 1954" because there are many types of Godzilla(s) and also other kaiju. I will accumulate votes in the end for example King Ghidorah 1968 and 1972 are the same. So don`t worry, everything will be as fair and compliant as possible.

5. For the actors: I will accept any actor/actress contributed in a kaiju movie. This includes movies that may not be distributed, produced or owned by TOHO.

6. As the evaluation itself will be a lot of work for me I would like to ask all participants politely to keep the "discussion" in this thread minimally. Please reduce the posting activity to the pure votings. This will help me a lot. Thank you very much.

At the end of the year respectively the beginning of next year we will have a very very interessting ranking! We will see what are the most popular actors, kaijus and movies. The polularity will be expressed in scores which is super-exiting. If you take this seriously you will recognize that it is very hard to find your own Top 10 especially in moives and actors.

I would like to wish all participants a lot of fun by doing the voting form and crossing fingers for their favorites.

I'm someone with aspergers, and I have a lot of trouble appreciating (or even noticing) acting in a film, so actors and actresses aren't part of a film crew that I usually pay attention to.

You can vote several times for the same monster as long as there are more versions existing. Like Godzilla 1954 and Godzilla 2014 for example or Gigan 1972 and Gigan 2004.
As stated in the OP animal horror movies are not kaiju movies. I know the border is slightly confusing sometimes but Tremors is more like an animal horror moive than a kaiju movie. If you would vote for the Dune Sandworms I would accept them as "Kaijus"
