Games that could USE a remake/remaster
With Gigantis giving the shout-out over rumours of a potential Marvel Vs Capcom 2 remake, that makes me wonder something. What classic Video Games do you think could receive the same treatment? Capcom has proven themselves very skilled at re-making their older titles for years now and it would be a good way to draw attention to many of their long-dormant franchises. One such example includes Final Fight which also allegedly is getting a remake of its first title and maybe even Dino Crisis.
As for other companies remaking older games of their’s, I would say a Super Metroid remake from Nintendo is inevitable. Maybe not any time soon, but definitely within our lifetime. What older video games should get a modern overhaul? I know remaking everything from the past is a big risk, considering that charm is usually intertwined with time. However, if done right, all should be well.
Feedback will be much appreciated.

Seems quite trivial to focus on, but I guess you’re right.LegendZilla wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:37 pmMaybe they could even give the Dinosaurs feathers!Thatguy4683 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 6:48 am Dino Crisis, I know it’s been said a lot but seriously the series need to come back, it has a lot Potential

Honestly, not only would a more realistic dinosaur aestheticic differentiate Dino Crisis from Jurassic World but it could be even more terrifying.

It’s probably already been said, but the Pipeworks Godzilla Trilogy definitely deserve the remake treatment.
New characters and maps should definitely be added with a remake, and they could fine tune some of the lesser features of the games, too.

Twisted Metal is an obvious choice. And maybe Road Rash? It was a very simple game, and would pretty much just need upgraded graphics and physics, and the inclusion of online play.
Oh, and Rampage, of course.

Depends on whether or not Atari actually considers re-claiming the Godzilla license worth while.Jermobooka wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 9:30 am It’s probably already been said, but the Pipeworks Godzilla Trilogy definitely deserve the remake treatment.

As many have already said Dino Crisis, Capcom needs to stop sleeping on this series its a rather amazing series.
I would mind a Resistance Fall of Man remake or reboot also.

Re: Games that could USE a remake/remaster
How would anyone feel about a remaster of the original 1986 Legend of Zelda? I think if Nintendo did, they should try to incorporate an 80's design aesthetic to the art-design and remain true to the production illustrations of the first game. For example :
How would you feel if a Zelda game returned to this style? I think it would be a good through-back.

Okay, I'll be that guy: give us a goddamn Bloodborne remaster already! It still plays great and looks pretty decent, but a remaster that heightens the graphics to the level of the Demon Souls remake would be incredible.

Does Capcom even own Dino Crisis anymore?

I think they still have it, it’s just they don’t use it.

Well of course Metroid Prime just got remastered. Looking forward to grabbing that when it's available. Just hope the controls aren't too wonky.

I know this may be old news to some of you, but they’re re-mastering Mario RPG.
