Rodan! The Sky Monster (Radon 1997 in Japan) was an attempt to cash in on the success of Rebirth of Mothra by giving the next member of the big 5 a solo series in an alternate universe. The film is a play on the original film, but with a Gappa style twist where it turns out the pair of Rodans are protecting an offspring that they rescue in the volcanic climax before disappearing. Though despised by the Western fanbase, it was a mild success in Japan, leading to a sequel Rodan: The Ultimate Sky Battle (where a giant Rhamphornychus named Rhampmodra kills the Rodan pair and proceeds to eat people across the world, forcing the JSDF to raise the baby as a last ditch hope) which failed miserably, ending the series.

The Mummy Raps

A horror/romance adaptation in which the ancient prince Imhotep seeks the reincarnation of his beloved priestess after being woken by a spell. In a twist, the modern version of the priestess prefers the prince over her living boyfriend. It features such tunes as I'm Risen, Never too long for Love, and the showstopper, Mummy knows Best.

Scream Tales, a nice little anthology series that airs on ABC as a miniseries, featuring none other than Jim Carrey playing as Bobby the fisherman who tells said tales, and his loyal ghost dog Bucky. The will is the fact that unless he catches a single fish, he's forced to stay near the pond forever.

Mother's Instinct is a book series that parodies the likes of most other popular novels and movies like Harry Potter, Star Wars and the like. The unnamed mother and son go on sorts of horrifying, and yet rather goofy adventures in order to destroy.. an millitary group trying to fix a space station. It failed rather flat.

Scavengers, an adaptation of an obscure comic with a similar premise, was released in 2015 to a very positive reception. It played off as a Black Comedy, taking inspiration from classic monster movies while animated with a stop motion aesthetic in mind. A sequel is brewing behind the scenes, although the info given is brief.

“A Gamera reboot that takes the titular guardian in a fight across the cosmic world, exploring multiple planets. Essentially, a space opera with kaiju.”
Reignited... and hopefully less weird this time around.

MindSwipe was a cult classic TV comedy about the titular relationship app for super people, with the twist being if the date/relationship goes wrong, special technology wipes out the other person's mind to make sure they can't be harmed for knowing the hero/villain's identity. The crux of the plot is infamous supervillain Oblivion/Tommy Smith accidentally MindSwipes himself during an argument with his girlfriend Janet Jang, turning him into a placid nice guy and forcing Janet to take up the mantle of Oblivion in his stead while she tries to fix him. The main plot of Janet adjusting to a life of villainy and rebuiling her relaitonship with the amnesiac Tommy is aided by subplots involving the wacky love lives of Oblivion's closest allies and Janet's father, the formerly retired Captain Cocktoo, trying to expose what he sees as an evil plot. It ran for 6 seasons and a TV Movie finale and was widely adored as a deconstruction of superheroes that still kept itself fun.

A Hero's Doubt

Dovetail is a rural town with conservative leadership who are adamant about good old American values. The town is protected by Mr. America, a Batman type superhero who believes in those same values. When an illegal immigrant accidently kills a pedestrian, the police brutally assault the man. Social Media catches the action, and protesters flock to the town. Also, there's small protest over whether or not the power plant, and primary employer of the town, is violating environmental codes. These protest feed each other until a demonstration turns violent.

With the town going into turmoil, Mr. America fights back, but comes to question the motivations and values of those in power. He must decide whether to fight for the life he's been raised in , or side with those seeking justice for the powerless. Complicating matters, after the death of his father, he learns the man was not his father. He's the child of an affair, and his father is one of the town leaders, whom displays himself as a family value man.

A demonstration soon boils over as protesters and police begin to clash. Mr. America soon arrives and tries to make both sides see peace. He fails, then saves a group of protesters from the cops. Mr. America decides to hang up his cape, and becomes a real hero for the powerless as himself, a lawyer named Adam Baker.

Die Laughing

The police are investigating a series of deaths. In each case, the victim laughed uncontrollably before dying. The police question a comic, Mr. Davis, whose career is just taking off and knew at least 4 of the victims, but he says he know nothing. The police are certain he knows more. When a truck driver starts laughing, he causes a massive wreck that nearly kills the officers. In the driver's glove box is an ad for Davis's show. They realize most of the victims also had this ad. Davis, meanwhile, stops his wife from looking into a red folder. He will let no one see it.

The cops get a search warrant and bring Davis in for questioning. One of them finds the red folder and reads a joke. He laughs and thinks it the best joke ever. The police demand answers, but Davis refuses to talk. When Davis hears the officer starting to tell the joke, Davis goes wild and tries to stop him. Davis now agrees to talk. His father, a well known comic, had a ghost writer, and this ghost writer was responsible for most of his best pieces. When the ghost writer demanded more money, his father refused, and the writer threatened to reveal the real genius behind his jokes. His father killed him by accident, and then died himself soon after reading his last joke. Davis tried it out on his friends, and they died one after another. Davis fears the joke has some supernatural power or curse on it, and anyone who hears it will die.

One of the officers decides to use the joke on amateur night at a club. She tells the deadly joke, and there is a rash of car wrecks that night. Davis and the investigator try to prevent the other audience members to keep silent about the joke, but it's too late. Social media has already picked it up, and the investigator's daughter reads it. Davis also succumbs to the joke. The world now is filled with doomed laughter and death, and those yet to read it flee, leaving behind their phones and other devices. The survivors, including the investigator, abandon modern technology. The cities, meanwhile, are dead and silent.

Murder in Zion

A rancher in Utah, Max Douglas, is in town when he learns his cattle are gone. They were stolen, but the sheriff proves little help. Max learns he's not the only one effected by the rustlers, and that a man is suspected of being one of them, but it can't be proved. Max and other ranchers decided to take justice into their own hands. The sheriff learns of their plan, and secretly places a deputy among them to make sure justice is done, and not revenge.

When the man rides out, Max's posse ambushes him. They get him the man to talk, and he tells them where to find Brandt, the man in charge of the gang. They ride into Zion Canyon to kill Brandt. They kill a a gang member, but the other gets away. The next day, one of the posse is found dead of a cut throat and a B carved into his cheek. More of the posse die, and Max and the deputy, who now reveals himself, think one of the posse may be the killer targeting them. Mistrust tears the posse apart and makes them more vulnerable to the killer. With only Max and the deputy remaining, they try to get out of the canyon.

They find their path blocked by boulders, and then Max is killed that evening. The deputy sees the killer, a short man with a mask. The deputy goes after the killer, but is led into an ambush. Surrounded by the gang, the killer is revealed. It's Elizabeth Brandt, who's following in her father's footsteps. The deputy is slashed, and his body is added to the mass grave.

The Witch Doctor's Apprentice, a platformer game inspired by west african mythology and classic Disney movies. It tells the story of Abideme, a chieftain's daughter and magic practitioner in training who falls in love with a common servant of hers. However, he is kidnapped by demons under the order of a spoiled witch (both inspired by European colonialists, right down to being voiced by caucasian VAs) who wants him as a husband. To get her back, Abideme travels across her kingdom, aided by both soldiers under her command, and a variety of magic spells and masks that enable her to summon and be possessed by spirits.

The Mighty Cat Armada! A Saturday morning cartoon released in 1988. It got a cult following, but is mostly lost to time, especially since most of the episodes from it's one and only season have gone missing.

A cartoon on Nickelodeon where a British man is sent into space, and lands on an abandoned planet where all that remains is a ghost city. Two inhabitants from there, who were also space travellers, join him and try to find out what happened to everyone else.
