I know it gets a lot of hate, but I enjoyed the first JW movie.tyrantgoji wrote:Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom: never in my life will i watch that garbage "Movie" ever again.
Fallen Kingdom, though? Yeah, never touching that again.

Fallen Kingdom more than JW. JW is fine but plays things a bit safe.
Yeah, this has become a really annoying trend recently, especially with the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. Speaking of which, I can't believe they're already trying to reboot Ghostbusters again and I'm definitely not wasting my money on that. I also haven't seen the last two Terminator films and won't see anymore if they keep churning them out, either.GojiDog wrote:Also, any movie centered around some stupid online political poop flinging contest is not worth my time. I don't need to be praised or condemned based on my decision to see a movie, and I just choose to opt out of the nonsense.
Yeah, Requiem for a Dream really pushes the envelop for me, and I watched The Descent yesterday.XxComablack1937xX wrote:Requiem for a dream and Ghostbusters 2016
Requiem because it just makes me disgusted and uncomfortable to sit through and Ghostbusters 2016 because it just flat out sucks. I am sure there are others but those 2 instantly came up
I liked the series and even I have to admit that's one of its major faults. It showcases more of the criminal activity behind the people featured but does little to actually address the problems of the exotic animal breeding behind a few scenes of lip service dedicated to a proposed bill.Jetty_Jags wrote:But I can’t help get the feeling it’s purpose isn’t really to bring light to issues but put these crackpots on display.
Not sure if you're aware of this, but the scene in which there's footage of people getting shot is real as well. I did a presentation on Cannibal Holocaust and it's history for a final on my Horror and Film class. It was required watching for the class, though we all got trigger warnings and anyone that didn't want to come for those classes didn't have to lol.tbeasley wrote:Don't think I'd refuse to watch any movie but after watching Cannibal Holocaust I don't think I need to see any more movies with animal cruelty as a 'highlight.'

The stuff that is in the film, like the scene of the woman on the stake, is fake (she's on a bicycle seat like prop). Same goes for any of the other violence in the film, except the footage shown.Jetty_Jags wrote:Wait, I was under the impression that only animals where harmed, and that the allegations of it being a snuff film where pure al urban legend.
Hey we got to watch Cloverfield and some clips from Godzilla 1954 as well!gottatalktothefake wrote:JesusLSD Jellyfish wrote:Not sure if you're aware of this, but the scene in which there's footage of people getting shot is real as well. Not exactly related (well, I guess it can be), but A Dog's Purpose was under a lot of scrutiny for real life dog abuse allegations.Jetty_Jags wrote:Wait, I was under the impression that only animals where harmed, and that the allegations of it being a snuff film where pure al urban legend.
