I bought the Criterion Blu-ray release of Fritz Lang's M and Neptunia Virtual Stars for the PlayStation 4 two days ago. They should be arriving today.

UPDATE: I also bought the Best Buy exclusive Godzilla vs. Kong 4K Blu-ray steelbook and the DVD for God Raiga vs. King Ohga

I read through the first few pages of The Court Of Owls at a bookstore once. I’ve watched plenty of videos about these comics, though (non-spoilery ones, of course).

Zack Snyder's Justice League 4K Ultra Blu-ray. I wanted to get the Best Buy exclusive SteelBook, but I couldn't find it on Best Buy.com and I didn't want to wait until it was available.

Nice. I just read Ego which is super good (basically all takes place in Bruce's head) and I'm about to start Gothic, then Under the Red Hood.

Ooh, that sounds interesting. Might very well pick Ego up, then.

Any other recommendations? I’ll be focusing more on the figure side of the collection for the time, but now I’m fairly interested in diving into some more Batman comics.

I've got one: The Strange Deaths of Batman (2009), a trade paperback which has a very good story in it called "Where Were You On The Night Batman Was Killed?" from Batman #291-294 (September-December 1977).

It's notable for possibly being the first Batman (and DC) miniseries (before it was even a thing) and for being the first Batman story ever in which several of Batman's costumed supervillains all gather together in one place, with four of them taking credit for murdering him.

One caveat, though: the artwork in all four issues is, at best, inconsistent and does leave much to be desired, but it shouldn't get in the way of the tale. There are many other classic stories about Batman's "death" in this book, of course, but this one stands out since I read it when I was a kid and loved it. Btw, it takes place in the Pre-Crisis Earth-One and refers to a previous story, Teen Titans #47-48 (April and June 1977).

Two others are Batman/The Shadow: The Murder Geniuses and its sequel, The Shadow/Batman. Get the hardcovers in first printings if you can; they're that good. The only thing I wish DC would've done was put in both of them the original two Batman/Shadow team-ups: "Who Knows What Evil...?" from Batman #253 (November 1973) at the end of the first book and "The Night of the Shadow" from Batman #259 (November-December 1974) at the end of the second book, both of them as bonus stories. Btw again, these two 1970s stories also take place in the Pre-Crisis Earth-One.

Ordered this Frankenstein mask from eBay friday:

From what a few other sources have said, it's actually olive-green instead of black and white and isn't quite as detailed as the picture shows. Nevertheless, I'm sure it'll still look great with my Freddy Krueger and two werewolf masks.

Also got these from one of the local comic book stores today:

I just got an old trade paperback called The Amazing Spider-Man: A New Goblin (2008) that contains The Amazing Spider-Man #176-180.

However, if I'd been in charge of publishing this one, I'd have also put in Nova #12 and The Amazing Spider-Man #171-175 because the events in them lead into the other issues that are already in there. Then the story would've been complete.
