I just heard about this moments ago. I'm still having a hard time believing it. Man, this decade sucks.
My most wanted fight ever is Discord vs Bobobo-bo bo-bobo.
Godzilla has a regen like Wolverine, a skin like Luke Cage, a hero aura like Captain America, a strength like Hulk, an unstoppability like Juggernaut, an immortality like Deadpool.

There's a 'God' in Godzilla for a reason...

Holy poop, I am in honest to god shock. R.I.P Gottfried..

Whenever a celebrity that was part of my childhood dies, i feel especially sad. I think it reminds me that i'm getting older by the day.. even though i'm not even that old

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Man, I remember watching Gilbert on TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest... all those years ago. He was such a great and funny guy. He will be missed. R.I.P.

Did anyone hear the story about how Gilbert saved himself from bombing at the Friar's Club roast of Hugh Hefner?
It was held pretty soon after 9/11 in NYC, and he made a joke about the trade center attack. The crowd was visibly miffed, so this absolute legend goes into The Aristocrats, and by the end of the joke had the entire room rolling on the floor laughing, in a room full of comics and entertainers no less.

Neal Adams, legendary comic artist has died at 80. He created John Stewart and Ra's al Ghul, really crystalized a darker Batman, and drew the one of my favorite covers of all time:

Found out about Adams' passing this afternoon. Guy was still working close to end. Huge pioneer ,and influence on the comics industry. He also did some work on the film industry in production design on such flicks as H.P. Lovecraft's FROM BEYOND, and Tobe Hooper's THE FUNHOUSE . And did some production design on an unmade adaptation of Issac Asimov's CHILDHOOD'S END. Gent's run on X-Men before the all new, all different era seemed to get a lot of artists down the line to go back where he blazed a trail. A particular favorite in my collection is his meeting of the classic monsters. Dracula, the Werewolf, and Frankenstein's Monster in a book called simply enough, Neal Adams' MONSTERS. Great book that I'd recommend.

This really sucks, especially if the rumored cause of death is confirmed to be true.

I have been watching Ultraman Gaia, and was just reading about how he would coach the younger actors on set, and talk about what a cool thing it was to be on an Ultra show.

Terrible tragedy. He was a modern day tokusatsu legend, what with Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Garo, Gamera, and Godzilla roles under his belt. Terrific screen presence, and (of course) strikingly handsome.
