Since MG74 was my first Godzilla movie, his cool, villainous performance has always been quite close to my heart.

The comic book industry today has lost another great from its ranks. Artist Tim Sale, known for SUPERMAN FOR ALL SEASONS, BATMAN:THE LONG HALLOWEEN, and DEATHBLOW. Not to mention his work appearing in the show HEROES. He passed today at the age of 66 due undisclosed health problems.

Technoblade: Minecraft YouTuber dies from cancer aged 23

I was never a fan, but this hit hard for many people around me. My (older) younger sister was devastated. Nobody should have to face cancer, let alone this young.

With The Shining being one of my top five favorite films of all time, this is a bummer. But, 94 is a long life. We should all be so lucky.

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Dammit, RIP.

I believe he was the last living person credited as "Director of Special Effects" (特技監督) in a Godzilla movie -- IIRC, all of the Millennium Series directors had a less formal credit that was essentially "Special Effects by."

His Mechagodzilla and Titanosaurus rampage scene is still one of my favorite city destruction sequences in a kaiju film. Guy never really got the credit he deserved within the genre.

Rip the creator of yugioh, Kazuki Takahashi.
Yugioh was a big part of my childhood so this saddens me.
