Does this count? Or are lyrics mandatory?

Anyone who can narrow things down to a favorite song, specifically one is a fraud and a phony. That being said,

"You'll Never Know" (Gordon/Warren) - My favorite recording isn't online so Joe Pass will have to suffice.

"I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" from The Muppet Movie.
I don't know if it's online, though, and even if it was, I don't know how to put in on here.

This is a very easy question for me to answer.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Dave McKenna. He did it as a medley with "I Don't Know Why, I Just Do" on his solo recording at Maybeck Hall. I've only been able to find a couple of the other tracks from that album on YT.G2000 wrote:If I may ask, who performed your favorite recording?Terasawa wrote:"You'll Never Know" (Gordon/Warren) - My favorite recording isn't online so Joe Pass will have to suffice.

He also played it in an exceptional 35-minute medley of Harry Warren songs -- I don't think he ever professionally recorded it but there's a camcorder video of him playing the full medley on YouTube. The video is arguably more valuable than the audio, but despite the audio deficiencies it's still a fantastic listen if you're a fan of solo jazz piano.
Also: honorable mention for Don McLean's "Vincent". Hopefully everyone's familiar with that (fairly popular classic) but this gives me an excuse to share it.

Nice.As long as it’s a musical piece with some semblance of a song, it does not matter.
Picking favorites of anything has never been a skill of mine, but if it's anything similar I consider this my theme song:
Mario 64's Slider theme is one of the earworms that has followed me as long as I can remember, ask me at any point in my life from toddler onwards and I'd be able to hum the tune perfectly. Splatoon instantly hooked me from the very first trailer and I fell in love with the music and the garbled squid speak shortly thereafter. Silly as it is, this tune is the perfect fusion of both my childhood memories and my modern preferences. Whenever I'm really in my element I like to play this in the background, and it always fits.

Comfortably numb really is a brilliant song, it has this just brilliant atmosphere coming from both the lyrics and instrumentals. I've not listened to enough Pink Floyd to make any true statement but I would say my favorite of theirs would be EclipseUltramanGoji wrote:Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd
