I think MV would work best to play off ours. Jermo has the cold, evil, controlled one, you have the super sophisticated and complex, anti-Godzilla weapon from alien technology, and I have the Earthly Human-made mech.

MV would be chaotic.

So, earlier today we had several japanese college students come to my work to eat. While they were waiting for their meal to come out, they began chatting with each other over the latest Singularity Point episode. I recognized a few of the words they were using, so I asked them if they were Godzilla fans. They said yes, and I asked them, out of curiosity, if they thought Gofzilla's designs prior to Ultima were more or less Godzilla than Tristar's Godzilla design.

Never had I seen the entire demeanor and mood of a group of people go from happy and amused to outright OFFENDED and angry like that. They started chewing me out and cursing at me in Japanese, and one person demanded a refund, which my boss atepped in and shut down because it was incredibly petty. They left fuming smoke at my question, and went on to review bomb the restaurant on facebook because "their personal beliefs were offended". Those reviews have just been taken down, but I cannot help but laugh at how irrationally mad they got over that, with such colorful terminology as "onore" (bastard) and "Kusottare" (asshole).

So I guess even in real life, Singular Point fans can be easily offended. Still, though, that’s extreme even by TK/Reddit standards.

Yeah, American fans can be just as bloodthirsty. I feel bad for anyone who's said they liked G'98's design or the movie as a whole. In some circles, them's fightin' words.

Ah now this is why I love the Godzilla fanbase! I can't wait for Singular point to officially release so I can join in on the fun I've been missing this past year, or maybe not lol. I've actually been pretty happy nowadays just staying in the back with my heretical views :P

I just got home from work and my mom tells me that there's a bat somewhere in the house. Nobody knows how it got in, or where it went, but it was flying around the living room a few hours ago, dive-bombing people as it tried to dodge the ceiling fan. There are a lot of places for it to hide, so all we can really do is wait for it to come back out.
