Another chan related shooting. Truly an incredible phenomenon. A lot of people make distinctions when it comes to shooters like this and shooters in gangs, etc, but I'm not sure there is much a difference. Improving material conditions would help. In the absence of that, we have to try and reach these people. We have to humanize them, even emphasize with them. I'm not sure there is much of another way. We have to find a way to intervene. This applies to both terrorism and gang related shootings. It's such a complex problem because, although violence has fallen from the 90s, it seems like violence is increasing in terms of my lived experiences. Not a good sign. We live in trying times, I think.

The candidate, Le Pen, was a vocal fan of Putin prior to the invasion of Ukraine. Macron is trying to appeal hard on Russia, and while it's hard to say what Le Pen would've done/said she most likely would have been more "indifferent" than Macron.

So as you guys may know. There's been an outbreak of Monkeypox since the beginning of May.

I'm honestly not too worried as it spreads differently from COVID, less so in fact and already having vaccines. Plus unlike COVID, we've known this virus for decades.

Still thought this was worth bringing up.

You don't catch Monkeypox the same way you catch Covid. They say its spreading via sex now...

So if you're getting lucky and the clothes start coming off, and her vagina looks like it was stung by a thousand bees... You know. Don't touch it.
