Anger rarely solves anything. More often it just clouds your judgement and results in you making decisions you'll regret. What are these people doing, exactly?Thatguy4683 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 12:45 pm No, but there have been people on the Internet that make me feel angry towards them and to think to get rid of them, I have the worst of the worst.

It either someone judging a media that I like unfairly or just being a donkey in generalJAGzilla wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 8:21 pmAnger rarely solves anything. If people on the internet that you don't even know make you so irrationally angry maybe you should, I don't know, get off the internet for a while. Just a thought. Especially if they make you so angry you want to "get rid of them". That is not healthy at all.

Yeah, then anger isn't going to be productive at all. Don't get mad, just take some deep breaths, disengage from the conversation, calm yourself down. Some good advice I read once is that when someone is saying something that offends you, just look objectively at what's really happening: this person is making noises, or typing words on a screen, in this case. It's just pixels. It isn't actually doing any damage to you, and the anger you're feeling is just a temporary creation of your own mind, something that can fade away in an instant if you step back and let go of it.Thatguy4683 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 8:42 pm It either someone judging a media that I like unfairly or just being a donkey in general
Yeah, I know it can be pretty hard to actually think that way in the moment, but it's a tool that's available to you, anyway.

My first Edgar Rice Burroughs story was 'At The Earth's Core'.

'T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous' was my first Imax movie. More specifically, I saw it at Providence Place Mall in 2000.

Re: Random facts about you
Watching BoJack Horseman in some ways has actually helped me get through life more. Helps that I can somewhat relate to the character when it comes to struggling in life that many people do such as myself notably dealing with stress and anxiety.
The fact too I've been doing even better then ever now that I got therapy counseling and been having an easier time in managing my obsessive-compulsive thoughts.

My favourite aesthetics are:
90s Futuristic (as seen in Evangelion, especially with Misato’s sweet jacket)
Post-Communist Eastern European (adidas)
Mid 2010s-Now Laid-Back (oversized hoodies)
Oh, and add aviators to each of those.

When I was young, and YouTube was first growing into prominence, I watched Pivot Dinosaur fights. This was probably around 2008-2011, and I loved how brutal they were (fucked, I know). It’s one of those early YouTube things that gives me nostalgia.

Re: Random facts about you
I view Godzilla vs. Kong more as a Kong movie with Godzilla featured as a guest character.
Does help take away many of the flaws I have with it despite still liking the film.

Re: Random facts about you
Some people say 'Mask of the Phantasm', others, 'The Dark Knight'. To me, the absolute best Batman movie is 'Batman: Gotham Knight'.
Like many a 90s kid, 'Pokemon' was the first anime that I got into.

Jurassic Park III used to be my favorite Jurassic Park film, back when I was really young.
Nowadays, it's The Lost World; JP3 is more of a guilty pleasure.
Added in 47 seconds:
I still hated the T-Rex vs Spinosaurus scene, though.

I used to play Guitar and Piano. Now I’m helpless on either.
