Impossible. A Kong figure that has a snarl, roar and neutral face? Who dors Hiya think they are? ;)

But yeah, this looks fantastic

If these figures look anywhere as good as they do in those photos, then this should be great! I'm not familiar with Hiya though. I was told that they can be very fragile and feel cheap.

Ooh, now this is much more exciting than the Godzilla since there's only one other fully-articulated Monsterverse Kong out there. Looks damn good; if I had any critiques, it would be that somehow he doesn't look quite as "bulky" as he should be. The body and arms look bulky enough, maybe something about the face(s) being a little narrower than it should be; almost like a mix of the 2021 and 2017 designs. Nonetheless, he looks great, especially paint-wise. The real test will be if he could have both his eyes looking in the same direction, unlike another super-articulated Kong figure...

I think Mechagodzilla will be the obvious next figure in this line but after that…….I want Mothra with her Larva or a Skullcrawler.

I'm down for a Skullcrawler. Would be nice to have a decent one in my collection.

Yeah, I’m still not too crazy about Legendary’s MG design, but these Hiya figures look good, so I’m all in for every monster they make figures for. Can’t wait to see Hiya’s King Ghidorah, Rodan and Mothra.

Man, I wish these had come out (or at least been announced) back when the SHMA figures came out. I might’ve chosen this kong over that one. But I’m not interested in double dipping. Will certainly be interested to see how these compare to Bandai’s figures.

Like others, I’m very interested in seeing them do Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah. I passed on the MA’s of those three. I did get the Neca Rodan and Mothra and have been perfectly happy with them, but there’s certainly room for improvement.

I want a 2019 Mothra that can actually have its limbs posed and it’s larva. It may be thin limbs but ball joints and hinges can work with it.

Are any sites other than BBTS gonna be selling these?

I very much consider TFA to be half-assed. What a generic film which only fed on nostalgia, it brought nothing new to the table.
That's not true. C3PO had a red arm.

Rodan looks great. Hiya seems to be churning these guys out pretty quick!

40cm? Is he bigger than the Neca/MonstersArts?

Rodan looks better than the neca figure and have more colors than the monster arts . I am very curious on how they will do mothra and ghidorah now do anyone now the price for rodan cause godzilla is around 50 to 60 while Kong is somewhere between 45 to 50 if I remember correctly

The NECA's wingspan is ~13 inches, so this is a good few inches bigger. Not sure on the SHMA.
