Why do people talk about those monsters as if they ARE Gabara and Titanosaurus? That never made sense to me. They borrow design elements of those monsters but are people really satisfied with the Bandai toys as substitutes for Gabara and Titano in their collections?

SHMA Hedorah just arrived. And to say I'm let down is an understatement. First thing, the sculpt and paint is actually pretty great this time around. But man, as soon as I took him out of the box, both arms just plop off and the legs are loose as shit. Reattached arms, went to pose, and one just fell off a second later. Put back on, and other arm fell off. So making some adjustments already. The flying Hedorah is cool and all, as is the flying/swimming turd form, but damn...

$200 release. Gtfo, this shouldn't have gone for more than $150, and even less if they just cut flying and turd forms since they're virtually just paperweights.

Yeah, I gotta' say, as hyped as I was for the Hedorah, this is the weakest SHMA I've gotten all year. And that's a damn shame. I'd rather have gotten a $150 Hedorah with maybe an eye beam, cause the flying and water forms just aren't worth it IMHO. And, as I said, the joint issues.

The upcoming Mezco set doesn't feature fully articulated figures, and the scale is smaller. But you're getting two forms of Hedorah, Godzilla, some extra swappable parts and some buildings...for $60. And I guarantee nothing is going to fall apart on you.

Since monster arts did the transforming mechagodzilla that was plan for godzilla vs mechagodzilla. Would anyone be against of them doing other unmade monsters, or design that were scrap in the future

Before non-canon characters, both versions of Showa Manda, or at least a Manda with removable fur/stache/etc would me my choice, but I tend to be biased.

I really wish X-Plus would do a reissue of that Ultra Q Kai Dragon in the meantime.
