It definitely got delayed but mine just came in on BigBadToyStore so it'll be soon.
Yeah, since I posted the question I've received word that shipments are starting to go out of Asia. Weeks still to go, but hopefully not too far into the summer.
And an update posted at the link says the Harryhausen Cyclops will be arriving late July. I suppose that is a realistic date with international shipping such a mess right now, but I was hoping it would be a little sooner.

So I would assume Ymir will also get pushed back a few months? It'd definitely save my wallet a tad this month.

Anyone know how long does the light up function last for figures in general, do those leds burn out in a few years if I have them on 2 hours a day assuming it's connected via AC adapter?

Well, LED lifespan can vary greatly depending on the quality of the led itself, and whether it’s properly powered and cooled (heat and too much electrical power damage and LED and shorten their lifespan).

But in general LEDs are expected to last for 10,000-50,000 hours of use. So using the low end of 10,000 hours, at 2 hours a day and 365 days a year they should continue working for 13.7 years.

So doesn't sound too bad then, realistically I'll be switching them on no more than half hour per day just to appreciate the beauty and maybe longer for photo shootout, so I guess they should last me life time ish in a way :). Thanks for the info.

So, which do you prefer, the XPlus or the new Omega Beast?

A review of the Harryhausen Cyclops has popped up. The articulation of the eyeball is wonderful! Very creepy!

I like the pose on the X-Plus better.

Passed on the 91 because I already have the old version. It was tempting but I'm broke and have otherwise sworn off buying new heisei figures.

Something about the teeth doesn't look right on the Omega Beast version.

It might be just me being nit picky but that big tail seam where the magnets connect really bugs me. If I’m paying $1200+ for a figure, I want perfection.

I actually sold my OG Sakai 91 last year and I now regret it so I'm glad I got the new one. I ordered the Store Exclusive and the standard. Excited for this figure. I think I may have settled on the 91 being my favorite suit of the franchise.

I feel that. And Sakai sculpts the '91 so well.

Man its been awhile since any major new announcements. Hopefully we'll get something soon. Summer Wonder Festival is late September it seems.

I really don't mind the slow pace of releases. I'm so broke it hurts!

Ya their pace has really slowed this year. On top of the fact that they just delayed a bunch of RIC versions of figures (including the RIC Gigantic 54).

They better step up. They arent the only game in town anymore.

But what other company really does what they do with the same kind of quality, accuracy and character diversity?
