I would feel inclined to think its been customized or repainted at somepoint, but that paintscheme has shown up in two videos by completely different people.
EDIT: I have also found some other images online sporting this paintscheme

Oh, and here is one of the videos on it, should anyone care to take a closer look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5L_IykehKk

Ok, my last post on the subject of this Gamera figure, since at this point I doubt I will find an answer. But I did come across a THIRD paintscheme for this figure, though likely one that was never going to get released. Evidently, an old Trendmasters prototype for their Gamera line was a repaint of this figure... Not based on it, its clearly the exact same mold. Super fascinating piece of history.

Are these all bootlegs? I'm confused because of their effort on promo pictures.(Looks like are photoshopped though)
The molds are definitely stolen from Bandai MMS and NECA series. But Playmates has done same thing on their initial official Godzilla toy lines so I was not sure....

The brand name is "Inner World" probably.

Those pictures are like a fever dream.

It screams bootleg but they're using the names. I'm gonna still guess some kind of weird bootleg.

They are pretty blatant bootlegs.

But don't tell small kids that, it says clearly in the instructions to protect them from accidental details swallowing.

And the product descriptions are the nightmares of English teachers everywhere. I know that *I* only select Godzilla figures that have "scabrous details", but I didn't think anyone else did too.

Hmm, anyone think the necks are actually articulated? I always wanted to make a custom Hyper Maser Mecha-King Ghidorah from Godzilla Island, but the necks on the Bandai MMS figure are molded to the body. If the necks on this bootleg can rotate then it should be easy to pop them off.

Image

Would have to buy three to make it, of course.

Does anyone remember this image?

What was it? Was it a prototype of the GMK SHMA? Maybe even a prototype Revoltech GMK? I’m stumped.

Yeah it was a prototype Bandai made for an articulated GMK figure back when the movie came out. It never saw the light of day. Looking back on it it does kinda feel like a proto-SHMA about a decade before SHMA became a thing.

It was a figure that was teased by the company Uni-Five for GMK. Figure was never produced.

Weird question but one bugging me.

There WAS a reveal of a Singular Point Rodan plush right?

Because I remember seeing one and am now failing to find an image to prove I'm not lying to some non-TK friends

RIP Evan.

I posted it in one of the main Singular Point threads, you might've seen it there.

I looked into it a little more and I can confirm it is being made by Good Smile Company. Hopefully they'll reveal more soon.

Anyone know what this is?

Added in 29 minutes 1 second:
Oh also, while Im here, I have some questions about a figure I got a while back.
Its clearly the Banpresto Godzilla 1954, but the paint is different from any pictures Ive seen online.
Image
Image

Now Ive never seen the standard B&W Banpresto Godzilla in person, but it looks like its very matte black, not this shiny "pewter-y look" (as the seller described it). I can't seem to find any information about a third paint scheme existing for this figure outside of the B&W and Brown.

^G’62 is by CCP.

The Banpresto G’54 looks like someone custom painted it a bit. I only know of the black & white (which I own) and the brown, which I’ve seen in person. This one definitely isn’t either and it doesn’t look like a factory paint job. Those toenails look hand painted with a somewhat sloppy drybrushing. And the bronze looks drybrushed by hand too. The back spines look like the factory paint of the black and white version.

Does anyone remember a bendy wire MireGoji figure? I swear I saw it on Monsters in Motion back in like 2004 or something. It was a MireGoji figure, and they even showed the bendy wire body inside. Maybe it wasn't even bendy wire, and the base of the body was just thin metal rods or something.

What are these?

Im assuming Yutaka? Definitely look like the two Yutaka figures I have. But whatever they are, I love them and I need them. Gamera too if he exists.
