Was looking on Showcase Daikaiju and saw that they have a 1991 Godzilla, Gamera 3, and Iris all slated for release in November. No pictures yet but wondering what the new sculpts will be like.

Wait, what?! If those are indeed coming out then color me excited! Definitely will be getting GhidoGoji and G3

I think its safe to say they are, Showcase Daikaiju was the first to reveal Megalon was coming.

Godzilla 1991/1989 is loooooooooong overdue, eagerly awaiting that one's reveal. The Gamera figures will likely be reissues of the originals. Would've preferred a Gamera 1996, but that original Iris was always in need of a repaint, so I welcome a new one.

Well, if there's a season 2 of SP, then they'll have more. Plus maybe some more Gamera stuff. I'd actually love a re-release of Iris and some other things.

Anyways, I purchased the Godzilla Ride stuff from the Godzilla store. Should arrive in a few days. Next Paycheck I'm gonna splurge and get everything I'm missing. Goodbye money!

I wish I could find the Ride Godzilla just by itself for a decent price (read: no more than $80-90). Showcase has the set of both Godzilla and Ghidorah available for over $100 but I can't guarantee anyone would be willing to take the Ghidorah off my hands.

Out of all places, you can find a few being sold brand new on eBay for less than 80, I bought one from someone in Japan with a 100% rating for $69 (obligatory nice)

I actually managed to find one on Mandarake for about $90 (pretty much nearing the max I was willing to pay) thanks to DirektorSplennic. I looked on eBay but none of the listings felt right to me. Any listing from Japan with free shipping usually means it ships the absolute slowest method and you have to pay extra for anything else. I've used Mandarake before so I just went with them.

Those Ride exclusives are extremely nice. I got my set recently. The only gripe I have is that Godzilla looks kinda cartoonishly goofy from the front and that Ghidorah's only articulation are feet swivels (for whatever reason that is...) and not full leg movement, which feels... odd...

My only gripe is Godzilla's hockey pad hands! I like everything about the design except for those oven mitts.

The promise of a new Iris is the most exciting for me, but really, it's about time we had an updated Heisei Godzilla vinyl. I'm also glad they chose the 1991 suit, since the 89/91 design is my favorite of the 90s era.

I keep seeing/hearing this, but haven't seen anything OFFICIAL yet.

It's official. Showcase Daikaiju already has preorders open for all these new toys. They were one of the first to report on Megalon. They know their stuff. So while I haven't seen an OFFICIAL official listing of these figures, I'm positive Showcase has. They're definitely happening

Im just hoping that 91 looks decent, especially on a shelf with the rest of the 6" Godzillas. From everything I've seen so far, they really phoned in that Megalon.

In what context? Everything I’ve seen so far it looks fantastic. Maybe a little more paint on the chest area but other than that I’m very happy with it

Sculpt looks good. Aside from a somewhat subpar paintjob I see nothing wrong with it.

Dang, wow... On one hand, wow, Iris! On the other hand, I.... don't really know if I even feel excited about EVEN MORE Bandais this year. There's just soooooooo many at once it seems unfeasible for me to be able to get em all.
