Limited color most likely indicates variants of already existing figures.

Yeah I assume it’s going to be a repaint. The placeholder image of G84 on the livestream did pique my interest. I don’t know if it was meant as any kind of hint or not, but it’d be pretty swell if they were finally making a wider individual release of the ‘84 vinyl from the 50th memorial box with some kind of unique paint scheme.

I'd be fine with a 3rd 6" G'84 release. One can't have enough of that mold, it's one of BANDAI's very best.

And considering the only two releases thus far are expensive/hard to find, an actual wide(ish) release at normal retail prices would be really nice.

A G84 would be a very interesting release. Not fully satisfied with the two NECA 84s I have so if the sculpt is a knock out of the park might splurge on this one!

Keep in mind it's going to be limited. So it's not going to be a standard retail figure at standard retail prices. Probably going to be more along the lines of the clear orange Hedorah and Burning Godzilla figures that just came out. So in additional to the slightly higher price whenever it gets here, anything truly desirable is going to be snatched up quick, and prices will climb correspondingly.

The tweet also mentions “new Gigantic series!”…does that mean a new Bandai line or are they talking about X-Plus?

Yeah, I guess I meant if it’s more available than the current versions and I can get it for $40-$50 (like I did the orange Burning Godzilla) compared to what the previous two releases go for than that’s a pretty big win.

But all this is assuming it even IS an ‘84 reissue. And the evidence of that is really nothing more than just wild speculation at this point.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see the Super MG revealed.

Wasn’t this the same event last year where Gorosaurus got revealed?

Not entirely sure. But I believe it was around this time period.

The Gorosaurus was a late Fall release and was a brand new figure. SMG will be the same deal. Whatever this is, it's definitely not that.
