I'd like to see that take on MG. Let's see MG as an alien rather than being built by them.

I can't see Varan ever being back on screen, but this would have to be the way to do it if it was.

1. Sounds like it would make a good twist in a movie.
2. I have trouble seeing her in such a role, but I'm sure she could pull it off.
3. The first Gamera film featured a weapon that temporarily froze the giant turtle. Of all the weapons used against kaiju, this would not only be effective, but also keep casualties down. I'm surprised more films haven't tried the idea.
4. I can just see the scene; Our characters get caught by the henchmen, and the guy moves forward to fight. Our female reporter then pushes him back and kicks the henchmen's asses. She then smiles and says, " I'm a blackbelt."
5. I'd like to see that.

I wouldn't be against it. Matter of fact, that was what the 1994 Tristar draft went with when it came to Godzilla's origins, so it's not like it hasn't been thought of before.

We already had two divorced couples with a daughter, so I think a son should be featured next time.
3. Going off of #1, a Godzilla film tackled local injustices within Japanese society?
4. They showed one human character giving another romantic pep-talk?
5. They made more Kaiju based off of Asian mythology, i.e a 9-tailed fox?

Toho announced an official North American distribution partner for all of their Godzilla/Kaiju films in the same way Mill Creek got all of the Ultraman series?

Obviously the US produced movies would still be with those studios, but everything else rolled under one label.

1 and 3. It wouldn't be the first time Godzilla has handled social problems, so I'm for it.
2. It all depends on how the relationship between them effects and influences the story. Just shoehorning a family drama into the film doesn't always work.
4. Could be a good scene, or comic relief if nothing else.
5. I'd like to see that.

1. I would personally just combine the two ideas. Have a more cyborg-modern look like GFW but with a more colorful green and yellow coloring like the Showa design.
2. I would dig it. I like the organic insect weapons the MV Mothra was given so more options would be cool.
3. Could be interesting. Ties into the cosmic horror of encountering forces mankind cannot comprehend leading to shit hitting the fan Ghidorah would fit well. Especially if it turns out the corpse isn't so dead.
4. Think more than one Mechagodzilla in one film might be too much Mechagodzilla but won't reject the possibility.

1. I'd personally do the reverse. First, you depict Gigan like he was in the Showa era. Later, you can have an upgraded and stronger Gigan.
2. I don't see why not.
3. I like that idea. You could get some interesting plot ideas from that.
4. I'm not sure how to do that story wise, but I can see it working. You'd definitely have an epic fight.

2. As much as I despise how IP works and how its abused, I feel like if Godzilla became Public Domain he'd be cheapened and lose his nuance (just look at how Dracula and Frankentein have next to nothing with their book incarnations).
