I uh.... don't wanna talk about the TK Toons.. Can we go back to the Trendmasters dude and his three thousand dollar prototype?

The ones with Gabara were really funny.

Was Anguir-Management related to the TK Toons? I do remember that.

Here ya go. Knock yourself out.
I could never get into them back in the day myself. Just weren't for me.

Was that the "summary of the showa timeline" video? I remember watching it and having no idea what the hell any of it meant but finding it hilarious nonetheless.

Dude I love all that stuff. Love seeing fans make an effort. The fandom on the early internet was awesome, way better than today IMO. That’s just the nature of things I think. Fandom today is more about consuming than recreating. Sure, it’s always been about consuming at its core. But things have become so centralized and regulated. It’s funny because the internet was supposed to combat this in a way.GodzillavsZilla wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 5:24 pmActually, it's Little Godzilla from the TK Toons, and I can't remember what he's wearing, but it's not a sundress.Handsome Shrek wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 5:11 pm That "new user" profile pic where it has some cutesy-looking Godzilla wearing a sundress. Just... no.
It's so strange that there are new users who haven't seen the TK Toons. Probably for the best, I haven't seen it in forever but I don't think I would like it as much as I used to years ago.

You said a mouthful man. There's pros and cons to progress though. I really don't miss a lot of older internet humor, myself. It's more the naive spirit of the time I miss.shadowgigan wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 6:12 pm Fandom today is more about consuming than recreating. Sure, it’s always been about consuming at its core. Yeah, I sort of agree. I also think I meant "creating" not "recreating" lol. I don't know, it was a long night. I just love seeing fans be creative I guess.Major sssspielberg! wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 5:50 amYou said a mouthful man. There's pros and cons to progress though. Agreed. It shows how invested they are in the films and other media.

TFW stumble across what I initially think is a neat Youtube account showcasing Godzilla's effects sequences from the movies and browse around it, then realize it's a fetish account.

Re: The Godzilla Cringe Thread
I refuse to search for it but its popped up in this thread before. Basically it has a bunch of clips from the movies that are specifically monster feet stomping into the miniatures. The channel name gave it away as a fetish channel but I can't remember exactly what it was. Like "Big Godzilla Feet Clips" or somethingThatguy4683 wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 12:32 pmwat, give me the linkKaltes-Herzeleid wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 12:08 pm TFW stumble across what I initially think is a neat Youtube account showcasing Godzilla's effects sequences from the movies and browse around it, then realize it's a fetish account.

You'd think there'd be a kinship given that a couple MV films have used MCU actors in them.Legion1979 wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 8:29 am Here's one...
