Biography

While best known internationally as the enigmatic "Chairman" of the Fuji TV cooking competition series Iron Chef, Takeshi Kaga has a wide and varied career in Japan. Among his Toho roles include stints such as: the voice of "Jiraldan the Collector" in Pokémon: Revelation Lugia (1999),"Tsuyoshi Matoba/Oda Nobugana" in Samurai Commando: Mission 1549 (2005) and "Emperor Kinkaku" in 2007's Monkey Magic.
