I can't believe that Twilight beat TDK, and Ironman for best movie....
No hope.

As much as I hated the first one, I'm pretty sure the directors would learn enough to actually relate the movies to the books now. I'll give this a second chance, since I'm sort of a Twilight fan. The books, I mean.

Wow. That was easily the lamest, most pathetic werewolf transformation ever. Not surprising, given the source, but damn.

Folks, it's a romance movie. With talk. Without action. Obviously something's not going to be right here regardless of ruining vampires or werewolves. And I agree with Inferno Rodan, worst werewolf transformation on screen I've ever seen; doesn't look like they put real effort into it.
Lets just hope they don't drag mummies or gillmen from dark colored lagoons into this series. |

That and in the fact that he just turned into a werewolf in broad daylight makes it even more lame and illogical. Plus, the werewolf looks more like a giant golden husky to me. Oooh scary!  Gimme a break.

Guys, give it a break.
Let the fans like it, let it be more popular than the things we like, let it do anything the fans allow it to do. It's just a romance movie with a scifi element. Big deal.
The monsters are done poorly? Big deal, someone likes it, no need to question them.

The book was... alright. Easily the best one of the series. I kinda want to see what they do. I find the film werewolves to be inaccurate. The book had described them to be eight foot long bear like monsters. Jake was a russet color, Sam was... I think dark brown. One of them was black, I don't remember. And I think Quil was supposed to be grey. Of course, you guys have no idea what I'm talking about.

The trailer for this movie look like something that would been done for a MST3K review. I laugh when the blood drop on the groud, and they all drop for cover.
I have no plans on seeing this one since I did not like the first movie that much. And I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like this one neither.
