Silent Hill. The movie had all this build up with suspense and mystery and it ends with a two minute sided fight from Alyssa. Honestly, aside from the leader getting torn in half it wasn't that climactic. That and the last five minutes of the movie dragged on.

(How the blazes did I miss this debate 3 months ago?)

I know I'm gonna get some hate for this, but Iron Man. The final fight ended, but then the ending was so rushed, as if the creators wanted this project to be done and over.

I enjoyed the ending, it was very punch and comical and to-the-point. But then again I seem to be alone as far as film ending tastes goes. Some people in this thread thought the TMNT films were anti-climactic. I don't get it.

Feast 3: The Happy Finish...2 of the 3 final survivors get squished by a giant robot.

...

After all of the carnage the characters had to go through and the heavy losses (especially when the potential badass characters get killed off quickly, which pisses me off), Secrets and Lightning get squished by a giant robot (is the Feast series set in the high-tech future all of a sudden?!?), which had absolutely nothing to do with the movie at all...

WTF?!?!?!?!?

Oh well, at least the mariachi was pretty funny.

I've just thought of another one, though it's not really a movie but an OVA series instead.

The final OVA of Zettai Shougeki ~Platonic Heart~ not only the most unexpected anti-climatic moment of any anime series I've seen, but also the meanest too, especially if it's a series that's just nothing but girls fighting and LOADS of fanservice (which is rather disappointing in that aspect). The main character's best friend secretly hated her for all of her life and she now wants to kill her........right at the middle of the final episode......

....

....

It made me want to scream in anger cuz not only it was ineptly random it was, but it was a set up for the sickest and cruelest prank ever. And this happened in a series that's nothing but FANSERVICE (which Platonic Heart would've been a mediocre series anyway if it wasn't for the ending). That's saying a lot. I can't imagine what it'll be like watching School Days now, cuz I've people say the ending for it is just as mean.

I advise everyone to avoid this series and watch Ikki Tousen instead. Unlike Platonic Heart, Ikki Tousen is actually entertaining and far more sexier too.

Oh yeah I completely forgot that Blue Seed was pretty anticlimactic (almost as much as Guyver anime and Full Metal Panic). How did they slip my mind? Laughing

1st off: Nostalgia critic is a ripoff of James and doesn't actually like movies, he just gets hits for making fun of them.

2nd: Why should someone like him dictate your opinion? (if it is)

3rd: he edits the endings in his videos.

meh. i still found em okay.

Wait, I'm NOT the only person who's been thinking that?

Arguing with you about Nostalgia Critic would be as fruitful as arguing with alienhulk about Nostalgia Critic. Especially if you think of him that way.

He doesn't dictate shit about my opinion. He's just better at explaining them than I am.

How is the NC a rip-off of the AVGN, is beyond me. The NC's review style is completely different than AVGN's and he uses better diction too. I bet you couldn't take his We're Back review, since it's your favorite animated movie as you said before on one of the threads here. I didn't agree with his opinion completely on that movie, but I do see its flaws.

The Street Fighter, which I just rewatched for the first time in many years tonight, comes to mind. Terry takes out the big opponent in a pretty intense fight, then the movie just ends even though he's supposed to fight the big boss after that according to what the boss said about 5 minutes earlier. I dunno, I haven't seen Return of the Street Fighter yet, so I have no idea if this is followed up on. I just found it extremely jarring.
