I have been wondering this for a while. If such print still existed it could become a valuable piece to recreate the US version of the film; which seems to be a much desired item for fans.

...Why would someone need to do that? 35mm Technicolor prints of the American cut still exist.

The American version is doomed unless Classic Media decides to actually restore it.(which will never happen)

Dirt and ******* loads of scratches.

Other then different edits I see no reason to care for it. A workprint is never made to be seen outside of the editing department.

That print is useless. You can't polish a turd. Rodan prints are still kicking around the circle. CM just didn't find the effort to track down better prints.
