Mortal Kombat: Armageddon was a good game. I didnt toucn MK vs DC.
The game play in MK: D and MK:A were pretty good. There's not much difference between the MK and SF engines. I really dont care what the public thinks, to be honest. I perfer MK to SF because the characters are more interesting and the story is better...in my opinion. I like SF, but I'd perfer MK: D over SFIV. |
Both Deception and Armageddon were below average fighting games, the characters were pretty stiff and the fighting styles weren't well represented or very uninspired but this is all going a bit off topic:
Story mode isn't really needed and that RPG stuff is much less needed to have a good game.
| Quote: | | I'll give you the reasons: It has the best intro out of the 3 newest games, it has a good monster roster, the cities are very big and well detailed (it has more cities than G:DAMM and G:U), the minigames (some of them are fun and are unique to this game only), there are no clones, the graphics are good, the gameplay is good. What else more do you want ? |
Hahahahaahaa! You really have to joking if you want that to be taken seriously!
Those aren't half good reasons
So an intro is part of what makes a game? That's why Shadow the Hedgehog is so good then.
I can't deny the roster is fine, the stages are many but not that different between each other, in Unleashed you have 9 stages but they are totally different from each other, I loved that.
Minigames were half assed, Graphics look good on Xbox I guess, Godzilla 2000 looks awful on any console though.
Oh and the gameplay is glitch-friendly and is not as refined as DAMM's. |
Don't forget the fact that there really weren't that many stages when it comes down to it you have Tokyo and Tokyo Bay for example Tokyo Bay is a diffrent stage because it's smaller but it's still Tokyo. I completly agree with you Gigan that the stages are just too much alike you play Tokyo and then go to Oska it feels the same it may look diffrent but the only stages that were really diffrent were the Mothership and Monster Island. I'd take the 9 diffrent stages over the 20 similar stages. _________________
