finally found some clear pics of the files on both the Inhumanoids, their Mutor enemies, and last but not least, Earth Corps.

Already a thread started by another INHUMANOIDS fan on this board, mecha-gino. Which started out thanks to some correspondence between him and myself. Filled with a whole slew of info, and other items of interest involving the Evil That Lies Within that I've dug up.

Re: Inhumanoids
The only figure of the line I own is one of the Granites, which I got for Christmas of '86. I also own the two DVDs from Rhino Video. Too bad the company never around to getting the last four episodes on DVD. I've frequiented the Shout Factory ! (the company that does all the other Hasbro properties,(G.I. Joe, Transformers, & Jem)site on occasion to see if there is any news on a complete series set for the Evil That Lies Within, but the response fromthe company has been they don't have the rights to the property. Dangit.

Re: Inhumanoids
I watched all the episodes online (all 13 of them) and it's good, really good. My favorite monster and favorite animated villain is Decompose because he's a giant undead T-Rex who stuffs people in his rib cage and the person who voiced him also voiced Starscream and as you guys know, Starscream is my favorite Transformer. This show needs to be rebooted don't make it like Transformers Prime . It would be cool to see a live action movie, if it was done by the guy who directed Rise of Cobra, because RoC is much better than Bay's films (even though I really liked Transformers Dark of the Moon).

Re: Inhumanoids
For all the complaints about the live-action TRANSFORMERS flick, I never truely felt robbed, or cheated after seeing any of them. And rather enjoyed them. As opposed to Stephen Sommers G.I. Joe:The Rise of Cobra, which other than the first battle between Destro's forces, and the military escort, and maybe the flashback scene involving Dr. Mindbender. The flick felt like one collasal waste of a great property, on top of trying to make it so it wouldn't offend the oh so valuble oversea audience. While Sommers seemed to show some talent ,and even made some fun romps with his earlier efforts, Deep Rising, and the first two Mummy flicks. His work since then has fallen flat on it's collective face. And I'm surprised to see Transformers Prime getting any hate. Especially after the awesome cliffhanger Season Two ended on. Can't wait for Season Three and the Beast Hunters.
Likewise I'm in full agreement Hasbro should dust this property off. Heck, My Little Pony, and I even think there's some new Jem stuff out there right now. Why not the Inhumanoids ? I'm always a bit of a pest on the IDW boards about it.

Re: Inhumanoids
^Keep it up TOaO. Unfortunately Shout! Factory has no plans to release any of the shorter Run Hasbro toy related series to DVD (including The Inhumanoids). Heck even if IDW just had a story arc for The Inhumanoids within the pages of Transformers (which I think would be pretty kick ass IMHO) it would be better than nothing. It would have to be non canon since the Transformers aren't on Earth anymore, but it would still be fun. I still have my DVD's released by Rhino from a decade ago which contains episodes 1-9, and recently made a DVD for myself of episodes 10-13. I think the series was released as a 2-disc set in the UK, and even though I have an all region DVD player, the set is long OOP and would be quite expensive.

Re: Inhumanoids
I think I caught the show once when it was edited into a movie for VHS release, but I did have all the monster toys. Mainly the big three (Metlar, Tendril and D. Compose) Man I miss those toys. I'm still shocked this hasn't come back the way other nostalgic kid shows\toys did. I remember the video being pretty ballsy in its gross factor.

Re: Inhumanoids
I gave this show a watch recently. It was entertaining, but critically I'd say it was average at best. The pacing was way too fast, and it had trouble deciding when it wanted to be serious or comical.
It would be neat to see this series return in some form or other, though.
BTW, what's that "Primordia" story mentioned above? I've Googled it, but haven't found any solid information.

Re: Inhumanoids
I'm thinking that PRIMORDIA was to be something new from Hasbro, and that cool sketch by Art Adams was something that was thrown out there just to gauge interest for the property among the fans. I'd love to get more info on that myself. I've done a little digging myself about it but found nothingv as of yet.

Re: Inhumanoids
The pacing issues may have to do with the fact when the first 5 episodes were cut into 15 "7 minute" segments to fit in a 30 minute time slot with other Marvel/Sunbow short series such as Robotix, Jem, Bigfoot & The Muscle Machines etc... Eventually the rest of the episodes were shown in full half hour time slots, but that is what may account for the odd structure of the first 5 episodes. It's still a great series however IMHO.Rody wrote:I gave this show a watch recently. It was entertaining, but critically I'd say it was average at best. DAMN IT!!! And here I thought this got bumped because Shout! Factory announced a DVD release of the show, which of course hasn't happened yet. ):<
I guess I'll have to wait some more for a proper DVD release.
