^ A matter of taste, my friend. Call me insane, but I personally never liked Wakabayashi nearly as much as most of the other Toho babes from that era.

I'll gladly eat crow if it doesn't turn out that way....but at this point it feels painfully obvious, as it has for months.

Surprised Hama Mie(KKvsG, KKE) hasn't even been mentioned yet, nor has the hot kung fu chick from GvsGigan (Yuriko Hishimi, who was in Ultra 7 as well.) :vampire:

Anyways, these two aren't quite up there with Akiko Wakabayashi or Kumi Mizuno, but they're darn close...

Emi and Yumi aren't bad, especially in their little muffin-hats from Mothra vs. Godzilla...

If this thread turns into a "Fantasy Makeout League" thing, then I pick Emi and Yumi, because they count as one, right?

D'aww, those two were adorable! They're merely cute in my eyes; not outstandingly hot as most people see them. They're so adorable, I want to pull their hats down over their eyes and rub their hats down onto their crowns with my oversized hands-

(Oh my God, what the hell happened to me? I'm sounding like I just skipped 30 years of life and progressed straight into senility)

The Mothra fairies, but can't remember they're names.
How come there isn't a thread like this in the Heisei and/or Millenium areas? Just curious.

SO true, with the exception of a few flare-ups of supernova hottness in the 70's.

Either that or we're just getting old... nah, that's ridiculous.

Wakabayashi wasn't exactly bad, either.

This thread could really use a photo gallery. It's hard to fairly judge from memory alone, and... well, that just seems like a good thing to have around, anyway. I don't think we really need a reason...

Not volunteering to post said gallery, incidentally. My internet connection sucks today.

Those props do have a bit of suggestion.
I've got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.

Then expect something that's fiercer, more cruel, and deadly than anything that's walked the Earth.

If time permits (I am currently in the middle of moving from Tochigi to Tokyo, cleaning out my apartment, packing my things, renewing my VISA, all while working 70+ hours my final week...flat out exhausted! X_X ), and if I can manage to take a decent quality digital pic (don't have a scanner), there is an *awesome* photo from the Yosensha "Godzilla Women" Mook book of nearly *ALL* of the most famous SHOWA actresses standing together for a group photo (looks like it was at some sort of TOHO ceremony-sponsored event) that I will try to post later this week or sometime next week.
