Seems like it ignores UprisingUltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:27 pm "Multiple breaches" implies its taking cues from Uprising which is an automatic pass for me. This franchise should never have gotten a sequel.
The mention of "multiple breaches" that I highlighted is a plot point specifically from Uprising, i.e. that there isn't one Breach but multiple.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:06 pmSeems like it ignores UprisingUltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:27 pm "Multiple breaches" implies its taking cues from Uprising which is an automatic pass for me. It's not the idea that it takes place in the same universe/timeline as Uprising (although there's utterly no reason to believe it doesn't), it's the idea that it's furthering idiotic writing decisions made in Uprising that severely dampen the story of the first film.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:07 pmCorrect but doesnt mean its the same timelime, esp with Striker Eureaka being seen.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:58 pmThe mention of "multiple breaches" that I highlighted is a plot point specifically from Uprising, i.e. that there isn't one Breach but multiple.

Well if i was invading another universe I would make multiple breaches instead of one pigeon hole.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:36 pmIt's not the idea that it takes place in the same universe/timeline as Uprising (although there's utterly no reason to believe it doesn't), it's the idea that it's furthering idiotic writing decisions made in Uprising that severely dampen the story of the first film.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:07 pmCorrect but doesnt mean its the same timelime, esp with Striker Eureaka being seen.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:58 pm

I mean tbh thats kinda how it always happen with kaiju. We get a little burst of content in a similar time frame then a boatload of nothing for an undetermined amount of time.Tyrant_Lizard_King wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 8:50 pm Well yeah but I was just thinking in the general release period. A lot of this stuff is hitting within the March/April time-frame.
