Plague of Madness is such a damn good episode.

Mind if I bring up ideas for adversaries that our duo could face off against in future episodes? Mine are :

Killer plants
Giant bugs
Giant ammonites
Sabretooth cat(s)
a Cave Bear
A Cannibal tribe of humans
Entelodont(s)

Killer plants are a given.
I'm pretty sure we already got a fight with bugs in Episode 6.
I think ammonites will appear in the same episode as the mosasaur.
I don't think Smilodon will appear because we already have the sabretoothed wolves.
That's very likely.
The witches are guaranteed to be cannibals, I'm pretty sure.
That would be cool.

^As for bugs, I am thinking more along the line of the flying-type. When it comes to the whole idea with cannibals, I mean 100% normal humans.

Does anyone else have to deal with the cable provider thing for Coven of the Damned?

Yeppers, a real downer. I assumed they were locking the old episodes as they made new ones available (that's what happened with episode 1 last week), but no, just locking them in both directions now. Very cool adult swim.

Coven of the Damned is a pretty emotional episode, which was not at all what I was expecting.

Was not expecting it to go the way the episode did but it was very emotional, the ending hit's you right in the feels.

Only episode I haven’t liked so far.

The witches were way too stupidly overpowered, the protagonists literally did nothing the entire time and a good portion of the episode was watching episode 1 again.

Good lord I love these new episodes. Still haven't seen episode 8.

But holy crap...Scent of Prey and Plague of Madness were SO FREAKING GOOD.

You know you find something special when you watch something and 'previous iconic works of a specific creator' or 'previous iconic works in a specific genre' just feel like they were appetizers setting up for the glorious masterpiece you were watching. After Inglourious Basterds....every other Tarantino movie before and since just doesn't hit the same way.

Before...I would have sang the praises of Samurai Jack to anyone who would listen as Tartakovsky's epic...ESPECIALLY after he brought it home with such a completely satisfying final season. But that was just a...primer.....for PRIMAL. The most METAL story about the stone age you'll ever encounter.

I love the music of the series, but the only thing that could rev up the testosterone any more would be if Mick Gordon was handling the score.

I also love how thoroughly this series embraces a sort of "survival horror" aesthetic. It is every 80s gore-fueled creature feature, every 80s "solemn lone hero fighting for survival" action extravaganza all wrapped up into one and put into a blender....executed with maximum visual artistry.

It even borders on downright lovecraftian horror in the whole "the greatest fear is fear of the unknown" element. This entire world is full of all manner of dinosaurs and creatures, and our heroes are just trying to survive and escape day-to-day, by any brutal means necessary.

Oh man, I really enjoyed The Night Feeder. I think it's my new favorite episode. I adore the suspenseful horror vibe in that episode, and it's perfect for this time because of Halloween.

Also, the monster antagonist (I'm not sure if it's suppose to be a dinosaur or not) sounds like Little Godzilla.

Spoiler:
Enjoyed the newest episode. Built up the horror, built up the suspense and I think it nearly paid off. My only complaint would be that we see the creature, and I think having it never be seen, just hear its screams, maybe see its claws, and watch the flames consume it, would have been perfect. Regardless, great episode and looking forward to the finale!

You can focus on it, and try to force it, but the more you do, the more you seem to push it away. But if you're patient, and you hold still, then maybe... Just maybe... It will come to you."
