God I agree, I'm sorry for making everyone feel bad and me being pessimistic! It isn't the norm, once again sorry to everyone!

It’s usually the same kind of people...the older fans who hate everything new OR the fans who like to think they are “film critics”

Rewatched KotM the other day and now I'm bummed we won't be getting any more Bradley Whitford.

I rewatched it yesterday, I almost forgot how bad of a movie it was. Couple cool scenes, but that's it. Once Godzilla went full on nuclear, it just tanked. And with Mothra's ghost and chirp when he did the blast, that was so wacky....Shin Gabara wrote:Rewatched KotM the other day and now I'm bummed we won't be getting any more Bradley Whitford.
The military research was terrible too. V22 aircraft flying as fas as jets...those same aircraft flying all over the globe in hours....impossible.
Jets flying so close to Rodan so they can all get obliterated...what a bunch of idiots.."hey guys lets fly really close to this giant bird."
The V22 crash landing after catching up to the Argo (V22's cannot fly that fast, not even close) and then crash landing in the hanger...they could have killed everyone on board and blew up the Argo.....idiots..

So I’m just going to ask...you know posting something like this is going to upset people and cause a fight...so why do it? Do you really have nothing else to do?jobin947 wrote:I rewatched it yesterday, I almost forgot how bad of a movie it was. Couple cool scenes, but that's it. When those fleeting lives destined to die, forget their humbleness and sing praises of their glory, such will shake the very heavens and split the earth, and they shall know the wrath of the divine. The inevitable incarnation of destruction. So, you show yourself at last. Since we last saw each other, it has been 20 years for us and 20,000 years for you. It's been a while... Oh, King of Destruction.

If you think kotm's military is stupid or unrealistic how do you like any Godzilla film other than Shin Godzilla.

Imagine trying to outmaneuver and fly past a giant 800 foot wide Volcanic Pterosaur in a jet.
"Dumb military" because they couldn't dodge a
flying warzone... lol okay.

Re: Godzilla vs Kong Rumor Thread (SPOILERS)
If the military had good plans than every single movie would have them lobbing shit at the kaiju from a distance with nearly zero risk and that would be boring AF

As someone who has made maybe 8 posts here in the year and a half I've been here, I would just like to say that despite Godzillasaurus and KingKong2005 being clearly emotional and unable to cope, they were totally at fault for those few pages of fighting and disagreement. 100%

You should probably stick to the topic at hand since it seems like for the time being that nonsense has died down.. I liked KOTM alot even though the human side was badly done. And anyone here hoping MechaG has his showa theme revamped a little in this movie?Jaqua92 wrote:As someone who has made maybe 8 posts here in the year and a half I've been here, I would just like to say that despite Godzillasaurus and KingKong2005 being clearly emotional and unable to cope, they were totally at fault for those few pages of fighting and disagreement. 100%

74 theme, 93 them, maybe even the one from the Kiryu films, i'll take it!
A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Idk bruh, I think a certain number of fans who decided to start resorting to childish insults and calling people little bitches were equally at fault, but hey that's just me. If opinions are going to upset people, those said people should leave the forumsJaqua92 wrote:As someone who has made maybe 8 posts here in the year and a half I've been here, I would just like to say that despite Godzillasaurus and KingKong2005 being clearly emotional and unable to cope, they were totally at fault for those few pages of fighting and disagreement. 100%

Re: Godzilla vs Kong Rumor Thread (SPOILERS)
I'd take this theme for the most part, but the 2002 one would be great as an introductory stinger for MechaG. The pounding drums and ominous strings.Nani wrote:I’d prefer the ‘93 theme personallyCommander_HooHa wrote:You should probably stick to thw topic at hand since it seems like for the time being that nonsense has died down.. Pfft, Whitford's character was still dope. He should have fought Rodan like I'd asked.

Re: Godzilla vs Kong Rumor Thread (SPOILERS)
“Godzilla vs. Kong” (Warner Bros.)
Release Date: Nov. 20
What Looks Strong:
Well, literally speaking, the colossal iconic movie monsters of the title, will battle in the fourth film in Warner Bros. and Legendary’s MonsterVerse. Alexander Skarsgard and Rebecca Hall join series veterans Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler and Zhang Ziyi, with horror director Adam Wingard (“Death Note,” “Blair Witch”) taking the reins.
Causes for Concern:
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters” opened just last year and significantly underperformed in comparison to its predecessors, suggesting audiences are already cooling on the MonsterVerse. Warner Bros. pushed the release date from March, but this is the wrong trajectory for a franchise heading into its big crossover movie.
Verdict:
A killer trailer could revive “Godzilla vs. Kong’s” prospects.
