This is probably purely coincidence and not intentional but Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan sort of act as counterparts to each King Ghidorah head. Rodan is like left head/Kevin, wanting to do his own thing, Mothra is like right head being support, Godzilla is like middle head being a leader and both of them making Rodan their bitch.

I'm not sure how true this is. In the Special Features, Mike Dougherty talks about the personalities of each head and they aren't quite the same as what you've listed. Left/Kevin is an inquisitive and curious head, Right is more aggressive, and the middle is the older brother calling the shots.

Being a powerful tusked being, Behemoth might've served the inspiration for the Hindu god Ganesha

Headcanon: Ghidorah had a much more otherworldly appearance before either adabting to Earth environments or absorbing Godzilla's DNA throughout their fights. This could be an explanation for the more Toho-reminiscent silhouette in Kong: Skull Island.

This is a sort of 'out of universe' theory....but if the timing on writing/production of King of the Monsters had lined up DIFFERENTLY with the release and massive success of Shape of Water....I feel that Sally Hawkins role of Dr Graham would have been a LOT larger in King of the Monsters. At minimum, I think she would have played a more major support role and perhaps survived further into the film.

At maximum....I could see things being shuffled and organized where SHE basically had the Emma Russell role in the film.

Bio-Volcanics like Rodan and Mineral-Faunas like the Magma Turtle give proof that there could be an entire ecosystem in the Earth's mantle, teeming with lifeforms just as comfortable in molten rock as some extremophiles are living in the intense pressure of the ocean floors. Because of this MONARCH is limited in how much they can study them in this ecosystem, sending out radio-waves and radar to study them from a safe layer or waiting from them to be on or near the surface like in a volcano to observe.

El Dorado, the city of gold exists deep in the Amazon. Like supposedly what was Atlantis shown in the movie, it too was one of the more advanced civilizations, the most advanced of any civilization in the New World during its time. The titan Behemoth was their guardian hence being the inspiration of the mapinguari legend.

Desghidorah is buried under Skull Island, hence why it is covered in a perpetual storm with red lightning.

- Ghidorah made Venus and Mars uninhabitable before coming to Earth

- A version of the King Kong story happened in 1933, except the Venture or it’s equivalent never left the island

I very much consider TFA to be half-assed. What a generic film which only fed on nostalgia, it brought nothing new to the table.
That's not true. C3PO had a red arm.

A story much like King Kong 1933 and 2005 combined happens, except it is at this scene they knock Kong out and just leave without capturing him!

That would be so awesome, especially if it happened to this Kong.

Judging by the fact that Behemoth is implied to have been a slave titan by Dougherty, I think he probably killed them all during the titan war.

Along with Akhlut, Ogopogo, Sasquatch (A surviving Titanus Kong), and Wendigo. Canada is home to two other titans.

Titanus Carcajou, a wolverine titan.

Titanus Mishipeshu, an amphibious cat titan with fish traits (Scaly skin and fins). Think of something like this.

Image

Carcajou resides somewhere in the deep forests of Alberta (Reference to where the Marvel character Wolverine was born), Mishipeshu currently resides in Lake Superior.

BosMuto/NUTO/MUTO3/"Barb" is an aberration of her species. Could be she's infertile, docile, or able to seek other radiation sources but this meant she was never a threat to Godzilla and that is why he never went to the effort of killing her. Given how the comics imply MUTOs behave, she might have fought numerous siblings of hers' over the years and is in the process of maturing into a new MUTO Prime; albeit a mutant version.

The radiation that features so heavily in the MonsterVerse is actually a form of magic, hence why it can make organisms do stuff that defies our own understanding of physics.

Lol wait like what? Would that mean radiation from nuclear fallout is different? Genuinely curious!

It would more accurate to say the harmful kind of radiation has always been a lesser but harmful form of magic. So yes, its different.

I could see it being kind of a spectrum of sorts. One side is harmful, the opposite is helpful

Rodan's teeth, beak and talons are coated with obsidian due to living and bathing in molten rock, this makes his already sharp instruments even sharper and he occasionally bathes in molten rock to reapply obsidian as it wears off, fractures or breaks off. Likewise cretin metals in the lava end up in how body and becoming a part of his bone structure, to support his weight and strengthen his beak, teeth and talons.
