I wanted to see him fight Godzilla with that katana. Only way Final Wars could've been bett- well, more entertaining.

Honestly, he should have been the main lead, rather than Totally Not Japanese Neo. Actually, just cut out all the stuff with the mutants entirely and have the movie be about him, his crew, and Godilla vs. the alien menace. You'd literally lose nothing of value.
Always loved the scene where he's fighting a female alien and she's like, "you wouldn't hit a woman!", and he just smiles and slaps the shit out of her. (Mind you, I'm a woman myself). The first time I saw that, I was watching it with my brother, and we both stopped to look at each other with our mouths agape. Good times.

Actually, on that note, I distinctly remember seeing the movie with the Japanese audio and his original English lines left in. Does a version like that actually exist? All I can find now are the full English dub and the original version, but where he's dubbed over in Japanese.

Wait...

Captain Gordon is roughly the size of two healthy adult males...

What if Kaiju A and B are the two halves of Gordon?!

Good for him! I don't follow UFC or MMA, but from what I read in the article, it sounds as if he definitely earned it.

Yeah, it was on an old rental DVD copy that I bootlegged like 10 years ago and was the main version I watched until I lost the CD, never found it (that version of the movie) again. Not sure if that audio track is in the Sony BluRay.

He actually reminds me of Brad Pitt's character in Inglorious Basterds, except FW came out first. I know Tarantino is a G fan, so I wonder if he used Gordon as inspiration.

I LOVE this guy! What if in "Godzilla 2", he's a veteran soldier or commander that survived the 2014 film and has a personal grudge with Godzilla. That would be awesome, IMO, and it would definitely be better than Ford "Boredy" Brody.

Best character in Final Wars. Best character in all of the Millenium films, save maybe for Katagiri, tbh.

He was the mustachioed hero the franchise needed.

Gordon was pretty awesome. Besides Akane from Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla especially I think he is by far my favorite human character and can easily say he is one of the most likable and above certain stereotypes we're used to in most of the films. He was just a good change of pace in general.

Oh shit. What's the problem? Hopefully it isn't too serious.
