Scooped this up from a second hand store. Quite possibly the first Therizinosaurus toy ever made(?). From Safari's 1993 'Dinosaurs of China' mini-line, this Therizinosaurus like the other models in the line were sculpted by famed paleoartist Ely Kish. Apparently this line is pretty rare cause I can't find any of them on Ebay, so I'm glad to have picked this up.

Hoo boy! Wasn't aware Ely Kish herself did some sculpts for Safari! You learn something new every day indeed . Googled the other dinos of this line and the Mamenchisaurus is decidedly imposing!Noble Saber wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 2:40 pm Scooped this up from a second hand store. Saw a comparison shot between some figures from waves 1 and 2 from the BotM Ceratopsian line. Holy hell I wasn't prepared for how huge the Pachyrhinosaurus is gonna be. Curious to see how that adult Triceratops is gonna turn out. He's gonna be a hefty boy.

There was a shot of a bunch of the ceratopsians compared with David Silva and the BOTM Raptors from Toyfair or something a while back, and IIRC the Triceratops is pushing the size of a beagle. The thing is a monster.Tyrant_Lizard_King wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 1:27 am Saw a comparison shot between some figures from waves 1 and 2 from the BotM Ceratopsian line. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that BOTM is planning on doing one

You're not wrong. That's why Tyrant said the 1/18th scale T.rex, as opposed to a 1/18th scale T.rex. This thing ain't hypothetical, it's already well into development.Shoopwoop17 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:42 am I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that BOTM is planning on doing one

David Silva is also apparently going to start a line of articulated dragon figures.
