Some sources, like Hostile Aliens, Hollywood and Today's News: 1950s Science Fiction Films and 9/11, say Gojira emerged from Mount Hachiba while the The Criterion Collection BluRay subtitles say "Godzilla's on the other side of Hachiman Hill!"
I can't find any meaning for the word Hachiba, other than hibachi, but I did find that Hachiman is the name of the Shinto god of war.
So, is Hachiba just another way of saying Hachiman, or does Hachiman make more sense?

Can you give me a timestamp for when the word Hachiman is used in the film? Might be able to clear up some confusion if it's directly said in film.
I really like the second article though.
