Godzila vs. King Kong: Extremely contrived circumstances allow King Kong to beat the radioactive reptile who literally sets him on fire when they meet, because at the time, Kong was more popular.
Monster Zero: A dashing space action-fantasy with all the breakneck pace of 2001: A Space Odyssey demonstrates why Mothra was essentially useless during Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster.
Ebirah, Horror of the Deep: Godzilla roleplays King Kong while repeatedly incinerating kaiju that get in his way. In the process, he tail-smashes a jet that was just about to fly into the mountainside for no reason anyway.
Godzilla's Revenge: For some reason, an absurdist clip show manages to inspire more conversation and debate than the entire rest of the era combined, owing to its extremely tenuous Inception-like connection to its own reality.

Gigan: Behold the destroyer of worlds as he acts like a past his prime rock-star dragged into a comeback tour, made the pawn of cockroaches, and is joined by a Swiss-army knife chicken.
Megalon: Ultraman? Never heard of him. Guest starring Godzilla.
Mechagodzilla: A race of Gorilla men create a deadlier threat then any other. So deadly it can only be stopped by a stone furry awoken by a overly long song, and Godzilla pulling a new power straight out of his ass.

Godzilla Raids Again: Godzilla fights not-Ankylosaurus, and basically gets stopped by ice which he could easily escape from. Also, he gets Vietnam War flashbacks whenever he sees bright lights.
Godzilla vs King Kong: King Kong fights a hentai monster, and battles Godzilla who has sideways eyes. Also, Kong looks like Chuck-e-Cheese with square teeth.
Godzilla vs Mothra: Godzilla turns into a Tremors monster who is pretty much drunk the entire movie, and picks a fight with a giant moth who everyone hallucinates has two midgets commanding it. At least he gets a nice blanket at the end.
