Character discussion: Godzilla vs Megalon

This is a fun movie, and JJ steals the show. I just wish we had human characters that were more interesting.

Goro, the creator of JJ, is a likable guy. His personality is quite pleasant, and he's both intelligent and clever. Goro feels like the most developed character here, but he's still on the flat side.

Hiroshi is paper thin compared to Goro. He's the action to Goro's brains, getting us into the chases and more dynamic scenes. There's just not much to say about him.

The Seatopian agent is an adequate villain, but not one that seems memorable. His presence has no threat, but the actor does a good job with the role.

Last, is the dancers. These women look more like they should be in Gamera vs Viras. Those pointed head pieces are more indicative of the squid monster than Megalon. They don't much to the movie, but they do help demonstrate Seatopia's reverence for Megalon. For the monster to have priestess shows they value the huge beetle.
