Kaiju: Tie between MechaGodzilla and Titanosaurus

Maybe Minilla was some mutation inside a Kamacarus' ootheca and that's why they attacked..... Maybe Minilla ISN'T the Son of Godzilla! He's some weird Kamacari that Godzilla felt bad for!

..... Nope, the other guys would never accept that..........

Film: Gojira (1954)
For being ground break, more then just a giant monster on the lose, and for starting the whole daikaiju genre.
If I had to pick something other then Gojira, it would be "Invasion of the Astro-Monster" (1965).

Favorite Kaiju: King Ghidorah
Great design execution (so glad he is all gold not rainbow colored like they originally tried). For so many wires still able to move and engage in physical combat. Lastly love the gravity beam attack effects, the way the zip along leaving destruction in their wake.

Film - I really love everything from Godzilla to Destroy All Monsters. That really was a golden age. But for me it's probably a tie between Mothra vs. Godzilla and Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. I like how they show different facets of Godzilla - both as a destroyer and a (somewhat reluctant) hero.

Kaiju - I know a lot of people think of Anguirus as Godzilla's main sidekick, but I think of Rodan. I wish he would return to that role. Rodan's been really mistreated in his later appearances and I hope Legendary does him well. I love how his personality bounces off Godzilla's in Ghidorah and Invasion of Astro-Monster.

Hands down, my favorite showa movie, and one of my favorite Godizlla movies in general is Mothra vs. Godzilla! As far as favorite showa monsters go, it'll probably be King Ghidorah (as he is my favorite monster behind Godzilla). But other than that, it's probably either MechaGodzilla or Gigan.

Awe man, the Showa had some gems. Hmm, I'm torn between Gojira, MvsG, and ToMG.
Favorite monster, outside of the various Godzilla designs (love '64 Goji), would be Mechagodzilla and maybe Hedorah.
