The Showa one does well with kids. GKG, however, has a legal order against going near children. Something about trying to eat them.

Give him a klondyke bar in exchange for his services.

Other nationalities are cute, too. Ghidorah is russian to judgement about just Russian women.

Hire him? I always thought that if you wanted him to do something, you would have to control him with magnetic waves, and also, that you would have to be an alien to do this.

To me Ghidorah doesn't seem any stupider or easier to control than the other monsters. The Xians controlled Godzilla and Rodan as well as Ghidorah, while the Kilaaks were able to control all of Earth's monsters as well as a number of humans, including presumably intelligent Monster Island personnel. If I'm counting correctly, in the Showa series you see Godzilla and Rodan being controlled twice, and Ghidorah three times (not that much more). Admittedly, while they're controlling him, the aliens make Ghidorah do stuff that he seems to enjoy doing anyway, since his first attack on Earth was (apparently) of his own accord, as was his destruction of Venus.

I don't know if Ghidorah's custodians would ever hire him out to other factions, but the Nebula M Space Hunter roaches loaned Gigan to the Seatopians, so apparently there is some sort of interplanetary monster exchange program.
I've done a lot of crazy things in my life, but ... I've never stuck my head into a hornet's nest.

Just wondering. How large would the causality list be in trying to conscript him?

Re-watching Ghidorah's appearances in the Showa era (minus the Zone Fighter stuff) it does interest me how several alien races were able to work with him. The Xiliens it seems like an open and shut case of control, same with Godzilla and Rodan. The Kilaaks seemed like they were in league with him, somehow. Given that at the end they summon him directly to their aid.

In Godzilla Vs. Gigan he doesn't seem all that "controlled" to me, personally. More like he and Gigan had a set of objectives broadcasted to them. Interestingly he appeared malevolent even towards Gigan. Firing his gravity beams and blowing things apart inches or at most feet away from Gigan's face, and was laughing at him when he was downed by the masers and only seemed to care about retaliating when they fired on him. He was also amused at watching Gigan get his ass kicked when he tried to fight Godzilla one on one.

Personally I think with the roach aliens and Kilaaks I think they were somehow able to communicate with him and presented him with an opportunity to try and destroy earth again and by extension get revenge on Godzilla and the other earth kaiju.
